Ae mere dil...Oh my heart...Part 1

I dedicate this story to Viditian who requested me to write a story on Shaheer Tejasswi.This story is inspired by the Kannada movie Nannavalu Nannavalu which I have not seen .Thank you very much my dearest friend Palchin2995 for giving me this concept to write this story.As u wished I have included you in this story as Dr.Palchin.You suggested Jennifer Winget or YDHJK Aditi Sharma to play your character.I chose Jennifer Winget as Jennifer had played a doctor in DMG and it's easy for me to get her pictures in the doctor's attire.

Mishti came back home at late night.

Anand stared at her.

Anand:Why are you late?

Mishti:I was partying with my friends.

Anand:I told you to not to go for late night parties.You are spending money unnecessarily to give useless parties to your friends.Why can’t you obey me?

Mishti:Oh come on…why should I obey you?Just because I call you uncle you are not my uncle.Let me remind you that you were just my father’s manager who is just my caretaker now.

Anand got hurt.

Anand:I agree.I have no blood relationship with you.But your father treated me like his own brother.

Mishti said sarcastically:Yes…I know.You were his loyal servant.Oops…loyal manager.

Anand got hurt.But he ignored it.

Anand:Before death your father entrusted me to look after you.I kept my word.In fact I will do that till my death.So whether you consider me as your uncle or not I will do my duty.

Mishti:But don’t try to control me.Because I am the owner of this house.You are staying here because of my dad’s mercy.I am not your daughter to control me.Go control your daughter.

Anand's wife Bela:Mishti....You are our daughter.

Mishti:Oh...I forgot.You both are a childless couple who has no children.But just because of that I won't become your daughter.

Anand-Bela became upset.

Mishti:I think purposefully God did not give you a child.If you guys had a child with your boring lecture you guys would have killed her.

Mishti walked to her room.

Anand-Bela became upset.

Anand cried.

Anand:I failed Bela…I failed.I had promised Ishaan Sir that I will give a good upbringing to Mishti.But she has been thoroughly spoiled.Why Bela?Where did we go wrong?

Bela:Anandji…don’t cry.We gave her a lot of love.But unfortunately she considers us only as her servants.But we will do our duty.Let us hate us.But we will love her till eternity.

Anand:We have always considered Mishti as our only daughter.But we could not mould her character properly.She has turned into a spend thrift.We have to do something to control her.Otherwise unknowingly she will destroy herself.I am scared.

Bela:Nothing will happen to Mishti.We will not let it happen.

Anand:But what can we do?

Bela:I think Mishti should get married.She will change.

Anand:But how will she agree to get married?

Bela:We should tell her about the will.

Anand:Yes.We have to.

After a few days…

Mishti went near Anand.

Mishti:Uncle,I need money.

Anand:For what?

Mishti:You don’t need to know that.

Anand:I am your official guardian.I need to know that.

Mishti:No need.I have my own needs.

Anand:There was a time when I trusted you blindly.But you broke my trust and got into gambling and wasted money.I am sure that you had a bet with your friends and you are asking me money only for gambling.

Anand:Yes.After marriage,you need to get your husband’s signature to use your money.

Mishti was shocked:To use my own money I need my husband’s signature as an approval?How mean!

I can’t follow this.I can’t get married by sacrificing my freedom.

Anand:I am sorry beta.I can’t do anything about it.This is your father’s will.

Mishti walked off angrily.

Anand-Bela smirked.

Mishti met her friend Palchin who is a doctor.

Palchin hugged her:Hi Mishti…after a long time we met each other.

Mishti:What to do?You are always busy in your hospital Dr.Palchin.

Palchin:What to do Mishti?A doctor’s life is like that.

Mishti:Ya.I can understand.Since childhood whenever I had problem I have always shared it with you.The same way now when I am in a problem I am here to share it with you.I hope you have time to listen to my problem.

Palchin:Of course yes Mishti.Tell me what your problem is.

Mishti told her everything.Palchin was stunned.

Palchin:Oh no…

Mishti:But I can’t accept defeat that easily.I am Mishti.I will not let anyone defeat me.Only you can help me Palchin.

Palchin was surprised:Me?How can I help you?

Mishti:As you know I am not interested to be a marriage material.I can’t imagine leading a married life like a typical wife.But I have no other option than to get married to claim my property.So I have decided to marry a dying patient.

Palchin was stunned:What?Dying patient?

Mishti:Yes.If I marry a dying patient who has very less time to live he will die as soon as we get married.Before that I will get his signature and live my life as I want.For that I need your help.In your hospital among your patients there will be the victim of severe illness who have very less time to live.I mean is there anyone who has the high chance to die in a few months?Take me to them. I will marry one of them.

Palchin was shocked.

Palchin:What are you saying Mishti?Will any of them agree to get married in the last phase of life?

Mishti:I will try my best to convince him.You just make me meet those patients.

Palchin:Ok,I will.

Mishti smiled.

The next day Mishti went to the hospital with Palchin.Palchin showed some patients.

Palchin:They are all very serious patients.Any time they can leave this world.

Mishti looked at them.A young man who was talking to old people and a small kid cheerfully struck her eyes.

Mishti:That guy is also in his last stage?

Palchin:Yes.His name is Jeev.He is in the last stage of cancer.Poor guy is an orphan too.

Mishti:But he does’nt look sick.He looks handsome.

Palchin:Yes.He is very positive towards life.That reflects on his looks also.He is always cheerful.

Mishti:But it’s an advantage.My so called uncle will not doubt my intention if I marry Jeev.

Mishti walked towards Jeev.Palchin looked at them anxiously.

Mishti:Hi…I am Mishti….

Jeev:Hi…I am…

Mishti:You are Jeev.I know everything about you.

Jeev was surprised.

Mishti:I am Dr.Palchin’s friend.She had told me about you.Despite of your illness how you are living happily is an inspiration for all of us.I am impressed.So I wanted to meet you.

Jeev:Thank you.Dr.Palchin said this much about me to you?

Mishti:Yes.Shall we be friends?

Jeev:Friends?We just met now.How can we be friends so fast?

Mishti became dull.

She thought:Even though he has only a few more days left look at his head weight.

Mishti:For friendship do you need to think that much?I am an ordinary girl.Not a criminal or a witch.

Jeev smiled:I know.You are a nice girl.After all you are Dr.Palchin’s friend.

Mishti thought:For the first time somebody said that I am a nice girl.

Mishti:Then what is stopping you?Well…If you accept my friendship come to Dr.Palchin’s house the day after tomorrow.I will be waiting there for you.

Jeev was stunned:But why are you so desperate to be my friend?I am not a celebrity,but a dying patient.

Mishti:But you are special.Only you can be so positive minded in this stage also.So it’s nice to have a special friend like you.

With a smile she walked away.Jeev smiled.

Mishti was waiting for Jeev at Palchin’s house.

Mishti:Will Jeev come?You spoke to him.Right?

Palchin:Yes.I told him about you.Let’s see whether he will accept your friendship or not.

Mishti:Why is he taking so much of time to accept my friendship and wasting my precious time?

Suddenly the calling bell rang.

Mishti:Will this be Jeev?

Surprised to see yudkbh with Mishty in your ff. It seems that Mishty is a spoilt brat, unlike the Silsila show, where she was supporting her family.

Sad that Mishty spoke rudely to Anand.

I loved Bela standing for Anand.

The will which Ishaan made was shocking.

Sadly, Mishty decided to marry a person who is at the last stage of his life, only to get his signature.

Mishti opened the door.Her face blossomed seeing Jeev there.She was very happy to see Jeev standing there with a bouquet of flowers.

Mishti:Jeev..these flowers…

Jeev:Will you be my friend?

Mishti smiled happily:Yes…always.

Mishti took Jeev inside holding his hand:Come inside.

Palchin smiled:I am glad that you came here Jeev.

Jeev smiled:How can I disappoint your friend who values my friendship so much?

Mishti smiled.

Palchin thought:My friend doesn’t value your friendship.She is taking advantage of you in the name of friendship.I am supporting this only for a good purpose.

Jeev and Misht sat on the sofa.Mishti was talking a lot.Unknowingly Jeev was lost in her.

Palchin served them tea.Thy sipped the tea while chatting.

Jeev-Mishti became very good friends.

Once Mishti took him to a restaurant.

Jeev:I can’t have the normal food which you all eat.I can have only a very less quantity also.

Mishti:Oh…I am sorry.I did’nt think about it.But we will order light food for you.

Jeev:Ok.

They ordered light food for Jeev and Mishti ordered her favourite Chinese food.

They started eating together.

Mishti:There is a surprise for you.

Jeev:Really?What surprise?

Mishti called the waiter:Waiter….

The waiter kept a plate on the table.There was a small cake on the plate.

There it was written “Will you be mine” with chocolate cream.

Jeev was shocked.

Jeev:What is this Mishti?

Mishti:Will you marry me?

Jeev:You know that time is very less for me.I am counting days.And a high class girl like you want to marry me.I am sure that no girl will want to marry a half dead person like me.You have an intention behind it.What is that?

Mishti became dull.

She thought:He is so intelligent.He is not dumb like I thought.

Mishti faked a smile:Nothing like that Jeev.You are misunderstanding me.

Jeev:I am not misunderstanding you.I am a psychologist.But due to my illness I stopped working.So don’t try to fool me.I am sure that there is something going on in your mind.I am not a fool to think that a normal girl would dream to marry a person like me whose life has no guarantee. I am sure that there is something going on in your mind.Say what it is.

Mishti started sweating.

Jeev:Say.

Mishti:Ok.Since you judged me correctly I will tell you frankly.

Mishti told him everything.Jeev was shocked.

Jeev:How cunning you are!Just for your financial benefit you faked friendship with me and wants to marry me.

Mishti:So what?Anyone in my place will do that?

Jeev:You did not even spare a dying patient like me.

Mishti:I did not spoil anyone’s life.Anyways you have only a few days left.So why does it matter to you?How will your remaining short life be spoiled because of me?

Jeev did not know what to say.He was irritated.

Mishti:You are all alone.If you marry me and stay in my house you can atleast live your last days lavishly.I can assure you a luxurious life till you die.

Jeev thought:This girl has fixed my death.What kind of a girl is she!

Mishti:Think and tell me.Do you want to spend your remaining life in the boring hospital or you want your last days to be royal?

Jeev got confused.

Mishti:Remember that with this decision both our lives will be like we dream to be.

Jeev thought about it.

Then he said:Ok,I will marry you.

Mishti became very happy.

Mishti:I knew that you will agree to marry me.

Jeev was silent.

Mishti brought Jeev home and introduced him to Anand and Bela.

Mishti:This is Jeev.Uncle,you told me to get married if I want a life I desire for.I am ready to get married.I have chosen a guy too.Jeev.I want to marry him.

Anand and Bela were surprised.

Anand:Let me see if he suits you or not.

Mishti got angry:What the hell!I told you that I want to marry him.Now why are you creating problem?

Anand:I want to make sure that your life is safe.That’s why.Only if I am sure that Jeev is a nice man who is not after your property I can get you married to him.

Bela:I agree with Anandji.

Mishti got very angry:You…

Jeev:Mishti…calm down.Any parent will behave this way.

Mishti:But he is not my parent.

Jeev:But he has full right on you as he nurtured you.So let him decide whether I am suitable for you or not.

Mishti became nervous about Anand’s decision.

Anand had a private conversation with Jeev and they both came out of the room.

Anand:For the first time you took a right decision Mishti.Your choice is the best.Jeev is the best guy for you.

Mishti was very happy.Bela smiled.

Mishti thought:Anand uncle is right.Jeev is the best guy to get married.After marriage through Jeev I can get what I want and get rid of him easily.

Jeev-Mishti got married.

Anand-Bela were very happy.

Anand:I feel very happy to see Mishti very happy with Jeev.Mishti was someone who did’nt want to get married.But now she herself got married.

Bela:You are right Anandji.Guess she loves him a lot.

Anand:I hope this marriage will change Mishti.

Bela:She will change Anandji as marriage changes people.

He smiled.

Jeev and Mishti were in the bedroom.

Mishti gave him a document.

Jeev:What is this?
