You bet ! Mama boy is in Bangkok 😁 Hubby in ICU..and she still plotted to keep the two apart 😏

Stew in your own juices and miss her like hell Raanav. You need a little bit of this treatment to start thinking right.

"Loved the way Vi stood up for her Mother. Dadi doesn't leave a chance to take a dig at Anu. Khaana hazam nahi hota unless she talks down to her. "

True about dadi and need to respond to her in public. Though I thought in the Mathur household there is division of labour. Akash and Anubha take turns to make tea etc. My impression was both parents contributed in raising the kids and having a career . Including the kids became self reliant early on. Did I miss something ?

""He texted Rajeev “Does she have a ride home on 16th?”

“Umm.. no sir she is coming in on 21st”

“says who?”

“Oh… the counter agent sent me a text”

“Can I see it please”

“Oh? I thought u knew. Sure sir”

He stared at the text

“Will you be OK if I saw u in 5 days?” he texted Rakshit""

Marriage like Tango and waltz is a great social dance, performed and enacted for both self and public entertainment 🤣😆

It's often said of and in relationships "It takes two to tango". Viveka put her first step fast and aggressive . And now Raanav realizes that he better keeps pace with her step and does the tango. Of late he's only been saying "says who". Because with him of late it's been either smrita saying something, Satyen saying something , Viveka saying something, Rajeev sayal saying something and last but not the least counter agent saying something, the counter agent actually being the straw that broke the camel's back. So the down on ground camel decides to do something about , transforms into a bird, the fastest flying peregrine falcon making the fastest dive into Bangkok , going swooping and hunting for his catch . Ha Ha Ha!!!

Now we wait for this marriage to do the tango when necessary while settling down to become this beautiful waltz that we all love.

Status quo

Viveka knows how to give it to dadi. Not that it makes any difference to her.

Aap or tum. I never used aap for my hubby. I always felt it was too stiff and formal for a spouse.

I never wore jewelry either, except earrings. Got many lectures from my mother in law. The older women were very superstitious about a married woman not wearing jewelry, sindoor etc.

Dadi was suggesting (declaring, rather) that Anu chose career over her kids, while it was her son who looked after the daughters in her absence. Viveka's revert was to clarify that Anu took care of the kids and managed her job. Akash does few odd jobs around the house like making tea, getting milk (Amul instead of Mother Dairy 😆), but essentially Anu runs the show, I think. She has Akash's support, no doubt about that. I think Anu has taken up the travelling only after the girls were older and could look after themselves.

Oh is it . This is how I read it.

I took Vi response as required for the audience. Who believe in old fashioned traditional roles of a husband and wife. Telling them that the couple manage family together will go over their head.

Anu is super woman..who manages a full fledged career and raise a family ? Somehow I remember age 9 when the girls started learning to do stuff for themselves. A family which works as a unit. So I read it that all have been contributing in some way. Hey Akash does more than getting.mother dairy milk...like cook.pasta 😂 let just roast the Parasher kid 😂

Ps. Singles career focus can be much more than couples with kids. Regarding travelling only decently makes sense that career took a back seat for family. Just like her Akash chose not to go England because Viv was born.
