Hello to All !

The FanFiction section in collaboration with Writers Corner is here with Round One of the Two Shots Contest

Before jumping ahead with your pens, please read the rules below and keep in mind to follow them. As someone said, rules are fun

NOTE: Please keep in mind that this contest consist of two rounds and writers need to take part in both rounds. Please do not quit in the middle of the contest as it can be an inconvenience to other writers too. If you think you can not commit, PM us immediately.

~*~ R U L E S ~*~

In this round, we have divided the participants into groups by genre type.

You will have to write a one shot based on the genre provided to you.

Even though, you are divided into groups, please keep in mind that this is an individual contest and you are not allowed in any way to discuss your entry with anyone.

1) The one shot must be 1500 words. We will accept entries with up to maximum 50 words over the 1500 word limit. But, entries with less than 1500 words will not be accepted.

2) Your one shot must be original, meaning you need to create your own characters.

Do not use movie/show/existing characters such as ArShi, AsYa, TaaRey etc.

~ Everything must be original ~

3) The entire one shot must be written fully in English.

Entries that are written in or use words in any other language will not be accepted.

4) Please make sure you leave your one shot open ended. Meaning do not finish your story, as your teammate will be the one to complete your story in the next round.

5) Do not send in an OS that has been written or posted before.
Entries for this contest need to be new and original

6) Your OS must have a title.

7) Despite your genre, your OS must end with the following sentence:

"I did not expect that. Among all the other things I could predict, I did not see this coming."

(This can be either used as a dialogue or an ending sentence.)

We have noticed that some members are confused regarding the contest. Please keep in mind that this is not a team contest. It's an individual contest. We have just divided members into group to give you all different genres. You can not discuss anything with anyone including the members of your group (same genre). If found doing so your marks can be deducted.

You do not need to post the OS! You are supposed to send it through PM to the account ContestEntries.

There is no team. You just have been divided into groups to give different genres. It's an individual contest. You are responsible for your own entry.

PS: A tiny question, the OS has to be in English but can the title be in another language?
