The Final Chapter - A Warrior High Fan Fiction

[Written Series Episode 302]

Episode 1 : Back in Time

It was a normal morning in Delhi with the loud sound of traffic and horns.

Male RJ - Good morning Delhi. It's exactly 9 in the morning and you are listening to Big FM 92.7 with me, RJ Aman.

Waiting in the traffic, a young man listens to the FM radio as he restlessly tapped his fingers on the steering wheel like he would on a piano.

RJ - If you are on the road, stuck in traffic and have nothing else to do, look around and guess what's different about today

Utkarsh's eyes looks around to see the difference and finds children with uniforms around and bags.

RJ - Ji haan. It's officially the end of summer vacations and reopening of schools across India. Aur aaj hum issi ke baarey mein baath karney jaa rahe hai.... Back to school.

Interested about the topic, Utkarsh increases the volume.

RJ - Aaj subah meiney apney bhanjey sey poocha, "First day of school. Excited to meet your friends" and he said "Well... Ya" I was little surprised because mere zamaney pe emotions kuch alag tha. Personally speaking, I'm a 90s kid. Humarey emotions, excitement aaj ki generation sey alag tha. Two long months of vacation and we were not in touch with our friends. Not much internet or mobile phone, maximum a landline phone or emails. So we weren't completely updated about each other's lives like now. And that's what made our first day of school super exciting. 2 mahiney aur zero contact, and so finally when you meet, sab kuch discuss kartey ho. Vacations, hobbies, classes, girls to what labels you bought for your notes. Sab kuch. Ek dramatic reunion sey kam nahi tha. Some of us have the memory of the day, some of us don't. The reason I remember this so clearly? Mere 7th grade ki reopening day tha, school ki ground mein apney friends ke saath baath kar raha tha, about all this, when she came (smiles)

Utkarsh scoffs and smiles hearing the last bit and shakes his head as he blushed. May be that reminded him of some memory of his,

RJ (romantic) - Pehla pyaar. Woh mere taraf aayi, dhoor se sharmakey isharey mein Hi. And I waved her back. She blushed and passed by to join her friends. And I knew, she missed me. Best feeling tha yaar. (Back to RJ tune) And this was favourite memory of the reopening day.
If you have a story of the first day or reopening day of school that you want to share, call me at 784590**** and tell us your favourite memory. This first song is to all those who will be travelling back in time to their school days. You're listening to Big FM 92.7 with me RJ Aman.

The horn sound increased as the signal turned green and Utkarsh starts to drive.

Dil Chahta Hai (x2)
Dil Chahta Hai, Kabhi Na Beete Chamkeele Din
Dil Chahta Hai, Hum Na Rahein Kabhi Yaaron Ke Bin
Jagmagaate Hain, Jhilmilaate Hain Apne Raastein
Yeh Khushi Rahe, Roshni Rahe Apne Waaste
Oh Oh Oh ...

As he drove his car from Delhi to Dehradun, Utkarsh remembers the times he travelled during school - the dancing in the van during Karishma trip & school trip, running race with seniors, running as a line blocking the road during drama practice and shouting standing in the end of the cliff. Utkarsh smiles as he remembers old times.

As Utkarsh gets out of the car, he looks at the school building and smiles,

Utkarsh's Narration: Somethings never change. Like this feeling of wonder I feel everytime I look at Warrior High. My first day at school, main teek yahin kada tha, "Woowh! Main yahan padney waala hoon. Sapna toh nahi dekrahey ho Utkarsh" (smiles) 9 saal hogaye hai, par ab bhi wahi ehsaas. Jaise ki sapna dekhraha hoon. Naya saal, aur tab ki meri tarah, kuch bachen aaj pehli baar warrior high aaney waaley hai. I hope Warrior high changes their life. Just the way it changed mine.

As Utkarsh walks from the campus into the building, scene rewinds to a tea shop where Utkarsh was taking a break while he was on his way to Warrior High. As Utkarsh waits for his tea, he looks at the camera and,

U - Main Warrior High kyun jaa raha hoon? (Serious) Uskey peechey ek bohat bada wajah hai. Bohat lambi kahani hai. Mujse, mere doston sey aur Warrior High sey judi hui ek lambi kahani.

Utkarsh takes his sunglasses off his eyes and folds the sides as he narrated his reason for this long travel. At the end, he lets out a deep sigh looking down at the ground thinking about something that's probably very depressing. He looks back at the camera,

U - Just kidding guys. Main Warrior high apne maa sey milney jaa raha hoon.

The street tea vendor gives him his cup of tea and biscuits after taking which Utkarsh continues to narrate,

U - Australia mein shooting katam karkey, Kal Ghar aaya tha. Aur patha chala ki maa school chali gayi thi, woh bhi 1 haftey pehley. Reopening toh aaj hai na. Apparently, she can't trust seniors during the pre-reopening special classes. Unhey blame nahi karsakta hoon. After the kind of stunts that we pulled during special classes, no wonder she can't trust.

Utkarsh gives an awkward and sheepish look remembering what they had done that made Urmila ma'am and the staff be extra careful during the extra days of special classes held for 12th grades before the reopening for the rest of the school.

U - Plus, there's a story I'm working on. Agar kisiki life sey mujhe inspiration miley, then it's 2 birds and one stone.

Utkarsh picks up 2 biscuits and crashes them with each other in the excitement of telling that it crumbles thus making it a little embarrassing for him. He tries to give an awkward smile and asks for another set of cookies.

Back in the present, Utkarsh enters into warrior high looking proud, excited and a little.. may be a lot nostalgic.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Utkarsh steps into the school and looks at a group of students gathered around a teacher with fuzzy curly hair and pleading her about something,

Mmaam - No means a NO. I will take this up with the vice principal. Kitney warning dhoon. Par tum log sudhartey hi nahi ho.
Girls - Sorry ma'am. We're really really sorry. Just this one time ma'am

Utkarsh recognizing the teacher walks towards her with a smile,

MMaam - Fine. But remember this is the last time. Poori semester tumhari class sey ek bhi complaint aana nahi chahiye. Okay? Remember, agli baar detention se kaam nahi chalega. You might even cost yourself sitting out on the school tour. These are not false threat. Tum logon ko patha hai ki ek baar hua bhi tha.
U (scoffs) - Waah!! Humhari batch ki charcha ab tak ho rahi hai?

Utkarsh asked playfully as the girls and the teacher turned back. She smiles and,

MMaam (teasing) - Kya karey! Apka batch toh creative punishments ke liye poorey Dehradun mein famous hai.
U - Atleast humarey wajasey in sab ko daraney ka asan thariqa jo mila.
MMaam - No arguments there.

The two of them smiled at each other while the girls were discussing about Utkarsh,

Girl 1 (whispering) - Thats Utkarsh Rajput right? This is the first time I'm seeing him.
Girl 2 (whispering) - Kaafi cute hai na?

"Hmm"
The girls nodded their head. Utkarsh and Moncy ma'am looked at the girls,

MMaam - Girls, you can go to your class now. I'll come in a few minutes.

The girls left dishearteningly as they were waiting for an introduction while Utkarsh and Moncy Ma'am started to talk,

MMaam - So Utkarsh, All Good?
U - Yes ma'am
MMaam - Warrior High aana kaisa hua? Urmila Ma'am sey milney aaye ho? Ya Niti se?
U - Dhono sey actually. Aur aap kaise ho ma'am?
MMaam - As you can see, Great.
U - Haan. Haan. Seems like you have a good control over the kids now.
MMaam (teasing) - Well, i did learn from managing the naughtiest batch in the entire school. Mainey apney poorey career pe tumharey jaise batch kahin nahi dekha.
U (defending) - Ma'am hum utney burey hai tey.
MMaam - Really? Remember my first day in school?

Moncy Ma'am looked at Utkarsh with a questioning look and her eye brows raid while Utkarsh looked a little embaressed,

[Flask Back]
On the first day of the last semester, Utkarsh, still a student, was seen escorting Moncy Ma'am to the classrom. Moncy Ma'am looked different from now, her hair was extra frizzy and curly which she had bonded together into single low pony. She wore formal pants and a shirt and had huge round spectacles, and walked alongside Utkarsh clutching the books in her hand very hardly that it left nail marks on the surface,

U - Ma'am, Nervous ho?
MMaam (stammering) - No! Why would you say that?

She adjusted her glasses as she looked down to hide her nervousness. Utkarsh who understood this wanted to calm her down,

U - Maa ne bathaya ki aap online padatey ho and this is your first time working in school. Aap chintha math kariye ma'am. Chotey bachon ko samalna mushkil hota hai, par hum seniors hai. (stressing upon words) Hum bohat friendly, bohat understanding, bohat cooperative aur itna disciplined hai ki aapko humey samalney ki zaroorat bhi nahi.
MMaam (funny) - Really?
U (assuring) - Ofcourse ma'am. Aap milkey toh deykiye. Heraan hojaaenge. Trust me, ma'am.
MMaam - Okay.

She smiled as she started to calm down and ask questions to Utkarsh,

MMaam - So i heard you don't have different sections for commerce and science.
U - Yes ma'am. We've been mixed up. Apney commerce class ki, aadha students apdi section ki hai.
MMaam - Oh!
U - Bakhi ka bhi, no problem ma'am. Humari class.... actually poori batch hi Warrior High ki best hai best.

With widdened eyes, Moncy Ma'am nodded her head trying to act like she believed Utkarsh. Meanwhile, in the commerce class, a angry Ruhi along with her friend walks to a group of boys at the other side of the class and stops in front of Karthick (Krissan's friend and the boy she liked in the train - Reference to S01E08)

Kar - Sup, Ruhi?

She banged her big accountancy book on the table as which invited in the attention of the rest of the class and made the boys get up from their seats. The gang of boys look at each other while Ruhi started to inhale heavily in anger. Her friend now raises her hand up with a bunch of printed A4 sheets.

Friend (loud voice) - Girls!! These 7 guys here have been commenting us. Aur yeh raha unki whatsapp chat.

The curious girls each other some of those papers and started reading comments about themselves while the guys looked shocked as to how the girls got their hands on this.

Ni (shocked) - Yeh sab kya hai?
Vi (shocked) - Ladkiyon ko marks rahe tey!!
Kar (scared) - Yeh tujhe kaise mila.
Ruhi (biting her teeth) - That's what your worried about right now?

She picks up the accountancy text book and starts to hit him while the other girls looking at each other go join her in hitting these guys. The rest of the boys stood in the opposite side with a scared look on their faces and,

Vd - Aren't i glad I'm not in that group!
Boy1 - That makes it two of us.
Boy2 - All of us actually.
Boy3 - Shouldn't we stop them?
Boy4 (laughing) - Chodo unhe. Maar khaney deytey hai.

He said as he filmed this in his phone laughing. One of the guys shouted the three girls around him to stop and,

Boy5 (funny) - This is too much huh. Guys checking out girls is normal huh.
Girl1 - That's true. So is girls hitting on guys. LITERALLY!!

She continued to hit him with a note while he tried to escape. As Utkarsh reached near by, he announced loudly before he entered the class shouting,

U - Guys! Our new teacher is here!

And stopped mid way seeing the chaos as this was definitely not the scene he was expecting after all the build up. The girls turn around to see their new teacher. Moncy ma'am stood with eyes wide open in shock as she looked at the messy class with the girls still in the beating pose and the guys with their hair and uniforms messed up. She gave a awkward smile and looked at Utkarsh for explanation.
[Flash back ends]

MMaam - Woh tha tumhara (imitating Utkarsh) Warrior High ki best hai best.
U - Definitely.

Moncy Ma'am laughs over how Utkarsh was still not giving up on his batch mates. The two of them discussed about old times as they slowly walked towards Urmila Ma'am's office.

Utkarsh's Narration: Chahey jitna hum apney present ko pasand kartey hai, ya phir apney future mein interested hai, Aisa kyun hota hai ki jab bhi hum kisi se miltey hai, hum apni past ki hi baathean kartey hai. Un memories ki jo humney ek dhoosrey ke saath banaye. Is it because we're trying to reflect on our behaviour or is it because we're trying to relive it or is it just for the laughs. Reason jo bhi ho, we always tend to go back in time..... searching for those memories, whether happy or sad, which we hold most dear.

The Final Chapter - A Warrior High Fan Fiction

[Written Series Episode 303]
Episode 2 : The End of Bromance

In the present, Urmila ma'am was in her room, on a phone call with the teacher in charge in the train station. She looked different from before, formal saree and longer hair. May be she took Gautam's suggestion of growing the hair to not resemble a guy's silhouette seriously,

UMaam - Make sure every single student has boarded the train. And call up their parents immediately if anyone is missing. We don't need any problems. Okay, Abeer?

Utkarsh stands outside the room with opened doors smiles at Urmila ma'am who was on the call. After she had cut the call, Utkarsh moved a little further away so she couldn't hear him and made a call to his mother,

UMaam (on phone) - Utkarsh!!
U - Maa, when did you start wearing sarees? Collector lagrahi ho!

Urmila ma'am looks down at her and turns back to see Utkarsh standing by the door and laughing.

UMaam - What are you doing here in Warrior High!

She walks towards him and hugs him. The both of them come into the room and Utkarsh sits on the bed while Urmila ma'am stood near the mirror,

UMaam - Is it too bad?
U - Nahi toh. But why suddenly the change?
UMaam - I just thought saree can make me look like an extra authoritative principal. And it goes with the hair.
U (laughing) - Maa aap jo bhi pehantey ho, you always look like an authoritative figure. But good point with the hair.
UMaam - Right. I'm planning on wearing this tommorow for welcoming the students. Aur tumney bathaya nahi. Yahan aana kaise hua. And when did you even come back from Australia?
U - Kal raath.
UMaam - And you came all the way here? I would've come back home in 3 days.
U - But I wouldn't be at home after 3 days.

Urmila ma'am turns to look at Utkarsh looking a little sad,

UMaam - Where now?
U - US! Diwali tak.
UMaam - That's really long. Won't you be coming for Sid's match in Malaysia.
U - No maa. (Remembering) Ah! Trasit mein Sid sey mila tha.

Urmila ma'am sat by his side in excitement and holding Utkarsh's hand,

UMaam (anxious) - Teek hai na? Aapney aap ko bohat strain toh nahi kar raha hai na? Does he look alright?
U - Yes maa. Thoda tired lagraha tha. But then he's been training like crazy.
UMaam (hurt) - I know. Itna busy hai ki apney maa ko video call tak nahi kar sakta hai. It's been months since I saw his face.

Utkarsh puts his arm around Urmila ma'am to cheer her up,

U - Aap ko toh patha hai na, "back to back 10 wins before settling" ki chakkar mein he has literally zero social life.
UMaam (complaining) - That doesn't stop him from video calling Siyali. doesn't it?

Urmila ma'am sounded like a little child complaining while Utkarsh rolled his eyes and,

U - Actually!

Seeing Utkarsh's expression scared Urmila ma'am that she got up from the bed and,

UMaam - Please Don't Tell me they broke up.
U (laughing) - No! No!
UMaam (relieved) - Thank god. I keep getting night mares these days that Sid and Siyali are fighting on their shaadi mandap and Sid just gets up and leaves.
U (surprised laugh) - What!!
UMaam - It's my worst nightmare, Utkarsh. Nikhil and I've planned everything that it scares me.
U (laughing) - Sid's never going to walk out on Siyali. Whatever happens.
UMaam - He better not.
U (laughing, assuring) - He won't.

Urmila ma'am calms down and starts laughing at her own thoughts,

UMaam (teasing) - You always have to defend your brother. Don't you?
U - No maa, I'm just stating facts based in statistics so far.

Utkarsh laughed as he said while he was clearing taking his brother's side her while Urmila ma'am laughed too probably some insider joke.

Utkarsh's Narration: Haan. Main aaj.. abhi apney badey bhaai ka side leyraha hoon. But humesha aisa nahi tey. There were times when both of us hated each others...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7 years ago, During the vacation, Niti was dropped off in the front of the Rajput mansion. She dragged her luggage and walked in. Sid who was sitting on the sofa looked at the door and waved his hand at Niti with a smile. The servant had taken her luggage and she walked towards Sid when she heard a loud sound from the kitchen,

U (angry) - But this is just too much!! Yeh sab jaan boochkey kar raha hai na Sid. Dekloonga main tujhe!!

As Utkarsh continues to shout, Niti could also hear loud noises of boxes being thrown and cupboards being shut,

Ni - Yeh chal kya raha hai?
S - Nothing. Don't mind him. Beit na. Life kaisi chal rahi hai?

Niti looks at a calm and composed Sid as she sits in the sofa adjacent to him.

Ni (awkward) - Teek hai.
U (angry) - Mera flow poori taraf se bigad gaya. Aur uska karaan sirf aur sirf tum ho, Siddarth.

Utkarsh came with two bottles in his ahnd and stood in front of Sid. He looked at a awkward looking Niti, and with a smile asked,

U (happy tone) - Niti? Tu kab aayi?
Ni - Abhi. Abhi.
U (smiling) - Acha. (Turns to Sid with the angry look) Tu jaanta hai na, mujhe story sochney ke waqt Nutella chahiye hota hai. (Raising his voice) Aur tujhe Nutella pasand bhi nahi hai!!!
S - Kitni baar kahoon? Buk lag raha tha, toh khaliya!
U (funny, angry tone) - Dhono ki dhono bottle!?
S - Haan! (Acting cool) It's just Nutella. Take a chill pill Utkarsh.

Utkarsh stared at Sid who was acting too cool while Niti was giving a confused and funny look about what was going on.

UMaam - You can fight about this after dinner. And Welcome home, Niti.

Urmila ma'am said coming to the hall herself and sent the boys to the dining area while she stood with Niti who was still looking at the guys now fighting on the dining area,

S - Sab kuch tu hi leyley ga? Ya phir doosron ke liye kuch chodney ka irada hai?
U (taunting) - Kyun? Tujhe aur Khana hai? Mujhe laga mere 2-2 bottle katam karney sey peyt bara hoga!

Urmila ma'am laughs at then fighting and looks at a confused Niti,

UMaam - Don't worry about them and come to eat.
Ni (funny tone) - But ma'am, yeh kabsey chal raha hai? Lad rahey they, yeh toh patha tha. Par aisey bachon jaise?

Urmila ma'am smiles and starts to summarize Niti about the recent events,

[Flashback]
Urmila Maam's narration: Things weren't the same after the showdown in school. Sid was feeling betrayed and Utkarsh was feeling angry. And that was not a good combination.
Sid and Utkarsh come back home from school. Sid sat looking lost and depressed everyday while Utkarsh continued to blame him for everything. Sid didn't speak a word as he believed that he deserved all that was coming at him.

Days passed by and Sid finally lost it! Standing in Sid's room,

S (angry) - This is getting too much Utkarsh. Hadd hota hai. Tumhara Bada Bhai hoon. Mere itna beyizaath nahi karsaktey ho.
U (angry) - Jo bhi kar raha hoon kam hi hai. Jo tune kiya uskey saaamney.....
S (angry) - Uskey saaamney?? What? Jaisey ki tuney kuch bhi galat nahi kiya. Ek galti ki. Aur kab tak taunt kartey rahoge? Haan Meri hi galti hai. Kya karoon? Tumharey peyr padoon? Saare jaayday tumharey naam kardoon? Paasi pe latak dhoon?

The fight got severe and the next thing they knew, Sid and Utkarsh were sitting on either side of the sofa, each holding a ice pack on their face with bruises all over their face and hand. Urmila ma'am stared at them still staring at each,

UMaam (angry) - Does someone want to explain what happened?
S (annoyed) - Isney shuru kiya!
U (annoyed) - Par galti iska hai? Aapkey saath kaise behave kiya isney. Galti bhi karta hai aur maafi bhi nahi maangta hai.
S (angry) - Woh please. Mom ney kudh mujhe maaf kardiya. Tera problem kya hai?
U (angry) - Maa hai isliye maaf kardiya. Pae main maaf nahi kar sakta hoon.
S (frustrated) - Mujhe tumse maafi chahiye bhi nahi.
UMaam (shouts) - That's it. Quite both of you!!!

Urmila ma'am said at the top of her voice to bring her kids attention. Both of them stopped staring at each other and turned their heads the other side,

UMaam - I don't need both of you to be fighting because of me. (Looking at Sid) Sid, tum badey bhai ho, tumhe responsible hona chahiye! Aur boxer bhi ho, bichara Utkarsh ko fight karna bhi nahi aata hai.
S (funny, angry) - Kissey? Isse!? Yeh pagal hogaya hai aapka laadley beta. WWE sey kuch ulta seeda seekrey mujpe try kar raha hai!

Urmila ma'am gave a funny surprised look and turned towards Utkarsh,

S - Aap hi poochiye issey!
U (funny tone) - Haan! Opposition party boxer hai. Aapney aap ko defend karney ke liye kuch toh seekna padta hai na!
S (frustrated, funny) - Aur seeka kya tuney? (acting it out) You can't see me??

Utkarsh gives an annoyed stare at Sid while Urmila ma'am was surprised about this childish behavior,

UMaam (in shock, funny tone) - I don't care what kind of weird technique you use to fight, I don't want to see any sort of physical fighting between the two of you. Understood? (Stressing) UNDERSTOOD?
S, U (murmuring embarrassingly) - Yes mom/ maa.

Urmila ma'am rolled her eyes right and left and looking at both her songs. She then turns around to leave still trying to make sense of what was happening.

Few days later, the three of them were in kitchen, Urmila ma'am cooking while the boys were assisting her in cutting vegetables and other things.

S - Mom, can you please tell Utkarsh not to touch my things?

Sid stared at Utkarsh with the corner of his eyes. Utkarsh took a deep breathe and,

Aur ab toh iska girlfriend bhi nahi hai. Bathadigiye.

While this was going on one side, Urmila ma'am let out a deep sign and continue to knead the dough,

UMaam (to herself) - Just once, I wanted to cook for my sons. Aur inn dhono ke beech mein faass gayi.

The talking through a third party continued for a while until it took the next step.

Sid was sitting by his study table and trying to figure out a difficult maths problem when all of a sudden, Music started playing as if it was blasting through the speakers. Sid dropped his pen forcefully on the desk and walked to Utkarsh's room where the noise was even louder.

[Song plays - London Tumakudha (Queen)]
Sid was staring with one eye while the other was shrunk. Utkarsh who was dancing on his bed jumped down and among all the loud music,

U - What??
S (bitting his teeth) - Padney ki koshish kar raha hoon. Sound kam karogey!?
U (mocking) - Haan. Jaisey ki padkey IAS baney waala hai. Chal. Ja! Ja! Ja!

Utkarsh shoed Sid who walks away with an angry look while Utkarsh did his victory dance with funny duck moves. The next day, Utkarsh was working on a script thinking about ideas when Sid played loud music. Utkarsh looked at the wall and gave a disappointed smirk. He walked into Sid's room where Sid was working out with loud English music. Sid turned to look at Utkarsh but in vain as Utkarsh has a pair of headphones in his neck.

U (teasing) - Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! What is this Sid? Khud ka idea bhi soch nahi saktey ho ki mere hi idea mujhe pe chala rahe ho! Isey hi kehtey hai na, LAME! No wonder Daadi ney tumhe aasani sey brainwash kardiya. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!

Utkarsh put on the head phones and walked away happily while Sid was dumbfounded. He went out of his room and saw Utkarsh eating a bread with Nutella and remembered how Utkarsh eats those only when he has a writers block, and needs them till he gets the ideas. Sid gave a evil smile when animated horns popped up by his head. After Utkarsh had left, Sid sneaked in and emptied all the Nutella bottles. Now it was one point for him. Thus explaining the situation right before Niti came in.
[Flashback ends]

As Urmila ma'am was looking at them and smiling, Niti decided to interrupt them and ran to the table,

Ni - Pehley main khana leyleythi hoon!

She snatched the the spoon from Utkarsh hand and started serving her food while Sid and Utkarsh continued to stare at each other.

Urmila Ma'am's Narration: It's always very different for a mother to see her children fight. No matter what anyone thinks, a mother can never take side of one child and be partial towards him. Like every other mother in the world, I was worried about my children fighting. Until I realized they weren't just fighting.
After Utkarsh and Sid's physical fight, Urmila ma'am sat in her bedroom with hands on her forehead worried when she heard the sound of laughing. She walked outside her room and looked downstairs at the hall where Sid and Utkarsh still holding ice packs were laughing watching TV which made her smile.

Making them say Sorry to each other wouldn't solve this. The relationship between siblings isn't one where you have to be formal and say sorry and forgive each other. Over time, You just forget the fight ever happened and move on. Some fights get over fast and some last longer. Whatever the time span, it always gets back to normal soon.
After the kitchen fight, where she had plan to cook as the cook and maid were on leave, the boys were listening to songs and cleaning up. At some point, both of them started singing together and enjoying the chores which surprised and made Urmila ma'am happy.

And that's what would happen between Utkarsh and Sid too. After all, they are brothers.
She smiled and watched the three of them eat as Niti sat in between them to ensure they won't fight. She didn't seen worried as she believed that they're patch up really soon.

The Final Chapter - A Warrior High Fan Fiction

[Written Series Episode 304]

Episode 3 - The Need to be Needed

In the night, Utkarsh is seen walking with a plate full of food inside the mess trying to find a good spot to eat. May be he was trying to relieve his school memories by eating in the mess. The set of girls who he has seen with Moncy ma'am stopped him,

Girl1- Utkarsh sir? Do you want to join us?

U - Sure.

The girl and their gang moved around made a spot for Utkarsh.

Girl1 - Sir, main aapki bohat badi fan hoon.

U (doubtful) - Mera? Really?

Girl1 (excited, shy) - Haan sir. I love your show. I still rewatch your shows sometimes. Ek autograph milega?

U - Arey kis zamaney ke ho yaar? Selfie ley leytey hai.

Girl2 - Par sir, humharey paas phone nahi hai na sir. School mein allowed nahi hai.

U (teasing) - Really? Kisikey paas phone nahi hai?

All - No sir.

U - Aas paas koi teacher nahi hai. Agar kisiney poochbhi liya, toh batha dhoonga mere phone hai. La'o!

Utkarsh extended his open palm after which the students started looking at each other that they were busted.

U - Haan! Main principal ki beta hoon. But uskey saath Warrior High ki student bhi hoon.

A few seconds later, one of the guys handed over his phone with Utkarsh after which they took some pictures together. The girl (G1) looked at the photos and blushing in joy which annoyed one of the guys (B1),

Girl2 - Sir? Will you ever start to make shows again?

U - I don't think so.

Girl3 - Why sir?

U - Because I'm working in movies now.

Girl4 - But sir, shows neh ki toh aapko famous banaya tha nah!!

The girls continue to talk as though singing,

Boy1 - That's total crap. His grandmother trying to put his mom in jail got him famous.

He said looking at his plate while the others were dumbfounded. Realizing what he had done,

Boy2 - Pagal ho gaya tuh?

Boy1 - Did I just say that out loud?

Boy3 - Sir, Yeh aisa hi kuch bhi kehta hai.

U - That's okay. (Embarrassed) Unfortunately that is true. (To lighten up the situation) Par agar small screen ke baath karoon toh, this movie's going to be my big break, may then I can take a small break.

Utkarsh tried to sound witty but the students didn't think so and just forcefully laughed to his so called joke,

U - Did you guys plan a strategy for Night call?

Utkarsh had a bite and looked at the clueless students,

U (realising) - Oh ya! You guys don't have Night call anymore.

Girl2 - What's Night call yaar?

Boy3 - Apparently, humarey aaney sey pehley Warrior high mein ek tradition tha, Night call. It's like a combination of seniors ragging and hide and seek I think?

U (laughing) - What? No! May be there is an element of Hide and seek somewhere... Par ragging nahi. It's so much more.

Girl3 - Why don't we have this anymore?

Boy3 - School main management badalney ki samay pe bohat changes ley aaya tha. And these traditions got scraped off.

All - Oh.

While the students were discussing about this, Utkarsh's attention got diverted to another set of students. A girl who seemed awkward and unfamiliar to the surroundings as she tried to find a place to sit. She approached a table with a boy and girl who sat diagonally opposite to each other and didn't seem like they knew each other. The girl awkwardly sits 2 spaces away from the girl on the empty table. Few minutes later, a gang of students came to the table and stared at the new kids. The new girl held her plate and,

NewGirl (scared) - Is this your place. Sorry. I'll leave.

The other girl also held their place to get up when the gang of students laughed and,

Boy1 - It's okay. Itna darney ki zaroorat nahi hai. All of us can fit in. Just move and sit.

The new girl smiled and moved next to the other new girl while the rest of the gang settled in. The two girls looked at each other and also the boy who sat opposite to them, smiled and started introducing them to each other.

Seeing this, Utkarsh was reminded of the past. After dinner, He sat on the bench in the ground and thought of meeting Siyali during the night call. He picked up his phone and texted Siyali, "Missing you a lot"

Far away, Siyali's phone vibrated.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Siyali picked up her phone and opened the image sent from Utkarsh. A hurt and bruised Utkarsh was holding a ice pack on his cheek and staring at the screen. Along with the picture, another message was sent,

•Utkarsh•

Dekho tumhari Sid ney mera hya haalat kar raha hai"

Siyali widened her eyes and searched for Sid's name in the chat and texted him,

•Siyali•

Sid? Tumhare aur Utkarsh ke beech mein kya chal raha hai? o.O

•Sid•

I thought we weren't talking. :P

Anyways, in my defense, Utkarsh ney shuru kiya. Lagraha hai ki movies aur WWE dekey kuch ulta seedha seek raha hai. Kehdey usse. Chup chap rahey nahi toh definitely mere haath sey kabhi na kabhi marega -_~"

•Siyali•

"Monkey closed face emoticon"

Siyali lets a deep breath as she opens Utkarsh's chat when Nikhil walked from the modular kitchen to the table where Siyali was sitting with two plates in his hand. Siyali keeps her phone on the table and helps her father out in arranging the items on the table,

Nick - So this was your mother's favorite. It's been some serious time since I cooked, so I won't promise on the taste.

Siyali took a bite of the spaghetti her father made while he looked at her for her reviews,

Si - Ya. It's good......

Nick - But you prefer Indian food?

Si (embarrassed) - Nahi. Snacks ke liye toh teek hai. Par lunch ke liye... Indian food better hai.

Nick - I'll remember that next time.

Siyali smiles and continues to eat while Nikhil also started to eat. His secretary walked in with a file in her hand and,

PA - Sorry for interrupting you Mr. Reed. But it's an emergency. I need to get these documents processed ASAP and I need your signature.

Nick - Not a problem, Lucy.

As he signed the paper, Siyali was looking at her father as she ate.

Nick - New haircut? It's nice.

PA - You noticed, Mr. Reed. Thank you.

The two of them smiled and his secretary had left while Siyali looked at them with questioning eyes. As her father turned back to the food,

Si - Paapa? Aap sey kuch poochoon?

Nick - Hmm.

Si - Aapney Shaadi kyun nahi kiya?

Nikhil who has just taken a bite stopped and looked at Siyali wondering what to tell her.

Si - I mean. 1-2 saal nahi. 13-14 saal hogaye maa ke jaaney se. Are you still not over her death? You still miss her?

Nick - Of course I miss her. She was the love of my life. But If you ask me if that's the reason I'm not married (thinks) I'm not sure.

Siyali widened her eyes as if she was expecting a different answer. Nikhil realizing this, smiles and,

Nick - Were you expecting a different answer? Mere life mein tumhari maa ki jagah koi aur ley nahi sakta types?

Si - May be.

Nick - To some extent may be. Par main kisi aur ki jagah leyney ki concept mein believe nahi karta hoon. I believe in making a place than taking it. But that's not why. (Pauses) There's something a lot of people will accept. Jab apna koi marr jaatey hai.. bohat mushkil hota hai. Aisa lagta hai ki unkey bina hum jee nahi paa'engey. But that's true. Kisikey ke liye kuch mahiney toh kisikey liye kaheen saal. But everyone comes to terms with that loss. Time heals every wound. Except for one.. (pause) Loss of a child.

Siyali looks at Nikhil with sorrowful eyes,

Nick - That pain... That sorrow... No matter how long the time, a parent never gets over the loss of their child. Same with me. My life's goal was to find for my daughter. So my entire focus was on that. So I didn't even want to think about another marriage or family. (Happy) But come on, it was worth it. We finally took down Anwesha Rajput and I got you back. And that's what matters.

Siyali forces a smile on her face and continues to eat while she has something going on in her head,

[Flashback]

Nikhil and Siyali were going on a drive when,

Nick - Is there anything you want? Something you want to do with me? Anything at all?

Si - Sochkey batha'oon?

Nick - Yes. But jaldi haan? This is probably the only time we'll be able to spend some time together. Baad mein you'll be back in India busy with school and college and no time for your old father.

[Flash back ends]

The words "you'll be back in India" rings in Siyali's head multiple times as she seriously thinks about the situation.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nick (shouting) - Siyali!!!!

Nikhil walked into his house calling out for his daughter. Siyali walked half way down the stairs and,

Si - Yeah paapa?

Nick - Lucy told me that you attended the college fair.

Si - Haan.

Nick - Kyun?

Si - Mainey decide kiya hai ki main yahin college karoongi.

Nick - You DECIDED! Tumhe nahi laga ki tumse consult karna chahiye?

Sensing Nikhil wasn't happy with her decision, she continued to walk down and,

Si - Main details collect karney ke baad, aapko inform karney waali thi. Kyun paapa? Aap mere decision sey khush nahi hai?

Nick (disappointed) - Khush? My daughter was planning to inform me about something after she took a major decision all on her own without consulting me.

Siyali looked worried if she had done something to offend her father,

Nick - I know the universities and colleges her can look fancy, but I don't think it's a good idea for you to study medicine here. India mein padna tumharey liye better hai.

Si (offended) - Toh aap ye kehna chahtey hai ki mere decision galat hai.

Nick (angry) - Nahi. Main buss yeh kehraha hoon ki koi bhi bada decision leyney sey pehley mujhse poochleyna chahiye tha. Na ki sab kuch decide karney ke baad, mujhe inform karogey.

Siyali was starting to get angry as if something had triggered her,

Si - Kyun? Aaj tak toh mere life ki decisions mainey khud liy. Aur sab sahi bhi. Ab bhi mera decision sahi hai. And I'm sure about it. (Angry, fast) Par itney saalon mein jab kisi cheeze ke baarey mein sure nahi thi, confused thi, pareeshan thi, koi problem mein thi aur mujhe saharey ki zaroorat tha, Tab aap kaahan tey?

Siyali finished the sentence abruptly as the as the expression on her and Nikhil's face changed after the last sentence. "Where were you all these years" the question that was Nikhil's worst night mare and Siyali had finally asked it.

Nikhil's Narration: Iss duniya mein kuch sawaal hai jiski jawaab nahi dey jaa saktey. Aur iss sawaal mere liye kuch aisa hi tha. It was not my fault that I wasn't there for my daughter all these years. but may be it's my fault for wanting her to depend on me.

While she turned and paced upstairs to her room in anger, Nikhil stood by the stairs unable to answer the question. He continued to think if it was wrong for him for expecting Siyali to consult him before take decisions.

All these years, I worked hard and built up this empire just for my daughter. To find her. To protect her. To give her all the happiness in the world. And when I finally met her, I was happy to see the kind of person she had become - Kind, Smart, Pretty and...... Independent.

Nikhil is seen working hard day and night over the business. And when he had a difficult day, he looked at the picture of Shivani holding a baby Siyali in her arms and smiled. This motivated him to work hard. Years later, Nikhil meets Siyali in Warrior High's corridor and gives a wide grin looking at her.

Being needed is a great thing. Maybe the greatest thing. I was starting to think that I wasn't.

Nikhil offers to help Siyali at multiple times - waiting for Siyali until she could come to US, taking her luggage, helping her move in, etc. But Siyali always gracefully rejected the servants and his help and did everything on her own.

My daughter... might not need me after all. And that, scared me.

The Final Chapter - A Warrior High Fan Fiction
[Written Series Episode 305]
Episode 4 - Not just me.. But for the both of us.

In a table set up in his backyard, Nikhil sat with a glass of scotch, sipping it while he looked at the night sky. His phone was on loud speaker and ringing waiting for the person to pick up the call.

UMaam - Hello.
Nick - Hey Urmila.
UMaam (doubtful) - Hi? What's wrong?
Nick (sigh) - Siyali and I had an argument.
UMaam - Really?
Nick - Ya. Siyali ki galti nahi tha. Mera tha. She's too sweet and too cautious. It's probably the first time she let go and argued back. Warna toh buss smile karti hai, agree karti hai aur haan mein haan milati hai. Wierdest thing, Siyali is texting Utkarsh and I come, phone ko side mein rakti hai and complete attention towards me. Which kid does that?
UMaam - And that's a problem?

Urmila ma'am looks at Sid and Utkarsh in different places and completely immersed into their phones,

Nick - She doesn't act comfortable around me.
UMaam (sarcastic) - And you're acting normal around her? Nick, You can't even ask your daughter to stay with you after school because you think she'll feel burdened. You've been so cautious because you didn't want her to dislike you. Aur tum Siyali ki baath kar rahe ho.

Nikhil tries to remember and agrees with Urmila ma'am deduction,

Nick - You're right. Aur ajeeb baath yeh hai ki mainey Siyali pe isliye chilaya kyun ki woh yahan California main hi padna chahti hai.
UMaam (shocked) - What?
Nick - I got a little upset. Okay, a lot. It's been 2 weeks. She doesn't ask me anything - things, favours, snacks tak nahi. She acts like a guest in her own house. And now she decided she wants to study here. On her own. She didn't ask me for my opinion or permission. She literally does everything on her own. And it's a little hurting. I know. It's stupid. Aisa nahi hai ki stupid harkatey sirf bachey kartey hai. Adults do stupid things too. And this is one of those stupid, nonsensical things. It's just that jab Siyali ke baarey mein sochta hoon, dimaag mein bohat kuch chalta hai. I've never done anything for her. I didn't get to play with her. I didn't get to get her first bike or teach her how to ride it. I didn't get to celebrate her birthdays. I missed out on everything. I was never there for her all through her life. I was earning millions here and my daughter was there is some orphanage with nothing. And finally found her and I get the chance to do something for her but she's already grown up and there's still nothing I can do for. Don't get me wrong. Bohat khush hoon ki meri beti independent aur strong hai. I'm very proud. Is it really wrong for me to feel a little needed? I feel lost. (Dramatic) I'm having an existential crisis.
UMaam (funny) - Wow! Nick? Tumhe ho kya gaya. Are you the same Nick Reed who was on the Forbes list?
Nick - Well! Running a multinational company seems much easier than parenting.
UMaam (laughing) - That is actually true. I can understand your situation. It's difficult to suddenly be a parent of a 16 year old. Neither you nor them know how to handle it. But it's okay. Dheerey dheerey, seeklengey, bachey bhi aur hum bhi.
Nick - Hope so. First thing first, mujhe Siyali se sorry kehna chahiye. Right?
UMaam - Whatever you feel is right.

Nikhil nodded his head and,

Nick - Wahan kya chal raha hai? Sid aur Utkarsh ke beech?
UMaam - Don't even get me started on that!!

Urmila ma'am and Nikhil continued to chat over the phone about their children. The parents seemed to be having a hard time just as the kids themselves. May be all that they needed was a friend to talk to about their problems and time to solve the same.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Next day morning, Lying down on her bed, Siyali stared at the ceiling looking frustrated when her phone rang. She looks at the phone display and picks up the call from Gautam,

G - Hey doll.
Si (sigh) - Hi.
G (excitement) - Lag tha hai ki wahan ghar pe Niti ke saath bohat mazaa aaraha hai. The kids love her. Wahan kya chal raha hai? All good.
Si (sigh) - It's terrible!
G (surprised) - Kya hua?
Si - I said something I didn't mean to say.

Siyali tells the entire incident to Gautam and how she had yelled back at her father. Siyali now sitting on the bed next to the window,

Si - Paapa ney wapas India jaaney ki baath ki. Aisa lag raha tha ki woh mujhe yahan see bhaga rahe tey. Aur mujhe gussa aagaya. Gussa aagaya aur muh sey nikal gaya.
G - Thats okay. Parents ke saath jadgey mein, hota hai. Par tumhe aisa kyun lagta hai ki tumhare paapa tumhe bhagana chahtey hai. He didn't work like crazy over his revenge fantasy all these years because he didn't want you. Right?
Si - Paatha hai, Gee. Par unhe kehna chahiye tha "Siyali, yahin raho" par humesha kehtey rehtey hai ki holidays ke baad milengey nahi, busy hongey and all that.
G - Did you not learn anything from the past, Doll?
Si - Mathlab?

Siyali looked confused,

G - Pichley saal, Sid bhi toh kehta tha ki woh tumse pyaar nahi karta hai. Aur Pichley semester, tu bhi toh kehti thi, Main Siyali nahi hoon. Matlab yeh nahi hai ki jo kehrahey hai woh sach hai ya usey mean kartey hai. You want to study in California for a reason, right? May be your father has a reason for not wanting you to. Tum sab ki yahi toh problem hai, sochtey rehtey ho ki dhoosrey kya sochrahe hai aur khud assume bhi karley tey ho. Baad mein misunderstanding. Phir jagda aur regret. I'm getting a DeJaVu.

As Gautam spoke about Siyali and her friends, she started realizing how true his words were remembering the events of the past 3 semesters.

G - Just talk to him.. Okay.

Si - Okay.

Siyali said as she tried to process her thoughts when she got a message,

•Paapa•
BaskinRobbins at 11?

•Siyali•
Okay.

Siyali let a deep sigh and dropped her phone near by and continued to get cozy in her bed.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Feeling down, Siyali sat in the ice cream shop stabbing her ice cream with spoon rather than eating it. Her father joined her after getting his ice cream. Seeing her look sad and down,

Nick - Listen Siyali....
Si (Apologetic) - I'm sorry paapa. Mujhe aisa nahi kehna chahiye tha. I'm usually not like this. Gussey mein kuch bhi boldiya. I'm too embarrassed to even look at you.
Nick - And that's why you went to your room?

Nikhil looked surprised and confused. This was not what he had in mind.

Nick - Mujhe laga tum mujmein naraaz hogi.
Si - Woh bhi.

Siyali looked embarrassed as she finally scooped up a spoon of ice cream,

Nick - You sure you want to study here?

Siyali nodded her head,

Nick - Why?
Si (awkward) - Mujhe laga yahan padney mein alag experience milega.
Nick - I know. Yahan ki style of education, college experiences will be different. But thoda aur saal lagega.
Si - Haan. Mainey bhi sunna. But I think it'll be worth it.
Nick - Okay.

Both of them take few spoons of their ice cream and enjoy it before starting another conversation,

Nick - Siyali, about yesterday, I'm very sorry. It's just that jab sey yahan aayi ho, tumhe mujhe naa koi madat maanga, naa koi cheeze, formal aur closed rehtey ho. You don't have to adjust to everything and do everything on your own. Tumhe kuch pasand hai ya pasand nahi hai, batha sakti ho. We are family. Yeh waali behavior nahi chaleyga. I know it's difficult to open up. I hope you can loosen up a little and make yourself at home. Ya?
Si (nodding) - Ya!

Siyali nods her head once in slow motion,

Nick - Anything you want me to change?
Si - Haan! Jab sey aayi hoon, 'Are you okay, Siyali?' 'You comfortable Siyali?' 'Do you like it Siyali' 'Do you want to do this Siyali?' Harr choti badi cheez mujhe poochkey kartey ho. Yeh bhi toh normal parent waala behavior nahi hai na? (Pause) Aap ko sab kuch mere hisaab sey karney ki zaroorat nahi hai. Agar aap kahogey, Siyali let's do this, main sunloongi.
Nick (teasing) - Agar main kahoon ki India mein medicine karna better hai, mere baath maan'ogey?

Siyali rolled her eyes awkwardly not knowing how to respond to that,

Nick (laughing) - Just kidding.

Both of them smile,

Si - I meant aap bhi kabhi khabar naraaz ho saktey ho, over protective of over bearing ho saktey ho. It's okay. You don't ALWAYS have to be a fun cool dad.

Nikhil laughs at this statement and Siyali's effort to not be awkward,

Nick (teasing) - I'll remember. But Siyali, for future reference, remember. "Fun and cool dad" waala statement tum hi ney diya.

While Siyali didn't understand the meaning of his words, Nikhil had something in his mind. Siyali looked at her phone that was continuously ringing over Utkarsh's call. She smiles at Nikhil and keeping her phone aside cuts Utkarsh's call and goes to his whatsapp chat where all his previous message was about Sid being a pain,

•Siyali•

Sorry Utkarsh. Paapa ke saath bahar hoon. We'll talk when you come here (monkey face closed emoticon)

She places her phone on the table with the screen facing down,

Nick - Utkarsh?
Si - Haan. Shayad Sid aur Utkarsh ka phir se jagda hua hoga.
Nick - Again?

The two of them continued to discuss and laugh over various topics.

Siyali's Narration: The last few years of teenage, the time of life when most children fight with their parents for freedom and for independence and impatiently waiting for the time they can finally be free of their parents control. Most... But not all.
After disconnecting the call with Gautam, Siyali got up and walked to the near her mirror where her childhood photos and new pictures with her father was made into a wall decor. Siyali looks at those pictures one by one including those old pictures with her mother and father as a baby. She gently touches the picture of her mother holding her as a baby.

Mainey bhi un sab ki taraf mere paapa sey aaj jagda ki. Par wajah alag tha. Mere jaise ek anaadh sey poochiye, maa baap ki kya value hai. Apney poori zindagi jiss chez ke liye tharastey ho, jab woh miltey hai, unhe chodtey nahi hai. Chahey jitna muskhil hi na ho.
At the orphanage, a 7 year old Siyali looks at a kid celebrating his birthday at the orphanage. Along with the other kids, he was eating a piece of cake while his parents wiped his mouth. Siyali sitting opposite to the happy family looked at this and then at herself and Utkarsh who also had made mess with cake all over his face. But he didn't have anyone to wipe his mouth and so she took care of him.

Mere paapa mere liye aisey hi kuch hai. 14 saal unsey dhoor rahi hoon..., aur nahi. Jaise hi woh mujhe kehnahi paa rahey hai, shayad main bhi unsey kabhi kehnahi paa'ongi. Kitney saal ka toh patha nahi, Par itna patha hai, jitna ho sakta hai, utney saal apkey saath rahoongi... aapkey haath pakadkay.... Sirf mere liye nahi.... Hum dhono ke liye.... Paapa
Siyali arrived at the airport where her dad came to pick her up. He had sent his driver on leave and took Siyali to show her around. They went shopping, they played badminton in the back yard, cooked together. He introduced her to the world proudly holding her by the shoulder while Siyali looked up at him smiling and back at the crowd feeling glad to have a someone who she can call Family.

The Final Chapter - A Warrior High Fan Fiction
[Written Series Episode 306]
Episode 5 - I have a dream

•Siyali•
3 unread messages

In the present, Utkarsh is seen sitting on the stairs in the entrance of Warrior High building and opens the Siyali's message,

•Siyali•
I'm missing you guys like crazy too.
Niti sey aaj milrahe ho na.
Have fun. Without me (annoyed emoticon)

•Utkarsh•
Kisiki jalan ho rahi hai?

•Siyali voice note•
Mere 2 best friends ek dosrey sey milrahe hai. Main jealous kyun hongi? Main toh bohat khush hoon. Tum dhono enjoy karo. Khoob masti karo. Mere ilava. Enjoy!

Utkarsh laughed at the sound of jealously and annoyance in Siyali's voice over the sudden plan of meet up by her two best friends.

•Utkarsh•
We will. Don't worry (:P emoticon)

•Siyali•
(Staring emoticons)

As he laughed, he looks up at the arriving car. Out of the car, a confident Niti steps out wearing a long formal dress with a big smile. Utkarsh stands up from his place and walks towards Niti with a big smile and they hug each other.

Ni - Kis bath pe itna has raha tha tu?
U (enjoying) - Siyali. Bohat jealous lag rahi hai.
Ni (enjoying) - Acha! You know what we should do! Selfie bejtey hai.
U - Best.

As both of them start clicking selfies and boomerangs to send to Siyali, they are interrupted by Moncy ma'am,

MMaam - Agar aap dhono kireunion katam ho gayi toh auditorium chaley?
Ni - Ma'am, buss dho minute!
MMaam - Okay. Come fast.

She leaves them and Utkarsh sends all these pictures to Siyali, spamming her.

U - Sent!

Both of them laugh as they enjoyed teasing Siyali. As they walked towards the auditorium,

Ni - Siyali sey miley huikitney din ho gaye yaar.
U - Haan. Kya kare? (Teasing) Apney Niti madam sey milney ke liye appointment leyna padraha hai.

Niti stares at Utkarsh gesturing him to stop but Utkarsh continues to tease her,

U (dramatic, teasing) - Niti madam itney famous hai ki kab duniya ki kis koney pe hai, patha hi nahi chalta hai yaar. Sach batha'oon toh woh zameen par kam aur aasmaan mein zyaada rehtey hai.

Niti stops continues to give immense stares at Utkarsh who just won't shut up,

U (dramatic) - Hum normal log date pe jaana hai toh kahan jaatey hai, theatre? beach? Restaurant? Par humarey mahaan Niti ji toh Aeroplane mein jaatey hai. Aeroplane mein. Aaaah!!

Utkarsh screams as Niti slapped on his forearm,

Ni (angry) - Bohat zyaada hogaya Utkarsh. Apna muh band karkey chup chap aa.

And Niti starts to walk, while Utkarsh after a moment of silence,

U (teasing) - Agar Mahaan Niti ney bathaya toh (dodging Niti's blow) sunna hi padega.

Utkarsh laughed and dodged Niti's hit and continued to tease her as they walked while Niti asked him to stop as she laughed at the buildups he gave for her.

Back in the past, Sid and Charlie are seen playing Pool. While Sid seemed calmed and interested in the game, Charlie has a weird smile on his have and staring at Sid's face as he was playing. He followed Sid everywhere and ensuring his face was visible to see. As Sid was trying to take a shot, he closed his eyes in frustration and his reason for the reaction was that Charlie has his face right adjacent of Sid continuing to have the smile. As Sid stood up from his bend position and turned towards Charlie,

S (funny, mind voice) -What's with this ladkiyon waali behavior. Kuch kehna hai toh kehta kyun nahi.Fine. Main hi poochley tha hoon.

Sid takes a minute to calm down and,

S - Kya baath hai Charlie.Excited lag rahe ho!?
C - Wow bro! You noticed.
S (funny) - Of course!

Sid gave a fake funny smiling wondering how he couldn't have noticed when Charlie literally showed his face in zoom up to Sid for the past half an hour.

C - There is something! Bohhhhat socha, aur ab mainey decide karli. Haan. Log haseenge, kehangey,'Charlie, tum ho nahi sakta hai'. Par main sure hoon. Mujhe yeh ban-na hai. Tohban-na hai! And I think I'd look really cool in uniform.
S - Police?
C - Pilot!

Charlie said casually while Sid's jerked widened his eyes.

S - Okay. Wow! That came out of nowhere.
C - Haan! Patha hai. It came out of nowhere. But when inspiration strikes, it's strikes like this. Paapa ke saath para gliding gaya tha. Mujhe laga jab upar jaa'engey toh darr lagega. Par nahi.

Charlie narrated as he remembered his flying experience,

C - The look from above and the wind on your face, ek alag si feeling tha. Very peaceful. I just wanted to keep flying. Aur andhar sey kuch kaha "may be you can". Neechey aay aaur pilot baaney ki sochney laga.

Sid stood leaning by the wall while Charlie sat on a bench with two tins of soft drink by his side. Seeing Sid's expression,

C - I know, connection mein thoda gadbad hai. But still... Patha hai, tu sochraha hoga yeh Charlie pagalon jaise baath kya kar raha hai?
S - Nahi toh.
C - Aisa nahi hai ki achanak pilot banna hai toh ban liya. That's stupid.
S - It's actually not!

Charlie not listening to a word Sid was saying, continued to assume negative reaction and speak hastily,

C (defensive) - Haan. Last semester main aakey ek poora career change karna insane lag sakta hai. Par hai nahi. Better late than never right. Patha hai. Muskhil hai. Par naa mumkin nahi. Main kar sakta hoon. I'm not expecting people to be supportive ormotivating, par itna chahta hoon ki negative na rahe aur mujhe demotive naakarey. Apney dost sey itna toh expect kar sakta hoon na? I feel like I can doit.
S (loud) - Dude! Dude! Dude! Main further studies California mein karney kisoch raha hoon.
C (funny sound) - Huh!?!?
S - So I'll be the last person on earth to demotivate you!

Sid walked to Charlie and sat next to Charlie which he continued to have a funny expression on his face,

C (funny) - When did this happen?
S - Jab Nikhil Uncle ki entry hua tha. Tab! Itney saal baad miley hai, uncle would want Siyali to live with him after school. Aur Siyali bhi wahi chahegi. It'sbeen only weeks, aur main Siyali ke bina pagal ho raga hoon. School ke baad, patha nahi ketney saal, kahin 1000 kms dhoor, mujse nahi hoga.
C - And thats why California ke baarey mein soch raha hai?
S - Haan. Major reason toh wahi hai. But that's not the only reason. Life mein pyaar zaroori hai, par career bhi zaroori hai. Tujhe toh patha hai, California has one of the best boxing academy. Agar boxing ko career banana hai, toh yeh best choice hai. Par padaai chod nahi sakta hoon, Mom won't be happy about it.I have to get into one of the colleges there. Agar hogaya. Toh mom kuch. Siyali ke paas rahonga aur best boxing academy mein training. So main kush. It's a win win situation. Buss marks ki problem hai. Boards mein kaise bhi karkey 80% -85% toh laana padega.
C (surprised) - 80%?? Not to sound negative, but tumhari mom itney saaloo n se tumharey peeche padey hai, 75+ laney ke liye aur tumsey hua nahi. Ab kaise?
S - Par iss baar alag hai, Charlie. Main kisi aur ke kehney pe nahi, apney liye kar raha hoon. Tere bhi situation kuch aisa hi hai na?
C - Haan. Except for boards. Mere liye 55+ kaafi hai. Entrance, training wagera hai.
S - Uskey liye bhi toh mehnat karna padega. (Serious) Humarey aagey apna goal hai. If we have to achieve it, we can't think if we can or can't, we just HAVE to do anything and everything.

Charlie made a small sound as he smiled while made Sid turn towards him,

S - Kya hua?
C - Kuch nahi.

Charlie picked up one of the tins and opened it up,

C - Yaad hai Sid, Jab Pegasusmein him apney apney career ke baath kar rahe tey, aur hum dhono ek dum blanktey. Mainey apney life ke baarey mein itney aagey nahi socha, par college takka toh soch liya. Tum aur main ek hi college, ek ki course, ek hi class butattend nahi karengey, fail hua toh arreas. Koi padney ke liye kahega nahi. Harrdinn party karengey. Life mast hoga. Aur ab dekho. (Laughing) Tum US aur boxingki baath kar rahe ho. Aur main flying school ki. Hum dhono studies aur careerki baath kar rahe hai. Hum bhi serious ban gaye yaar.
S (laughing) - Hain na? Kabhi socha nahi tha ki aisa bhi din aa'ega.
C - To becoming serious!

Charlie raised his tin of soft drink for a toast, Sid picked up his and,

S - To studying this semester!
C - To studying this semester!

The two of the clink their tins and take a sip. Then, the two of them laughed and smiled at how situations have changed.

Sid's Narration - Siyali neyek baar mujse poocha. Sid tumhare identity kya hai? Aaj main kaun hoon? Pathanahi. Par kya banna chahta hoon, patha tha. One of the greatest boxers theworld has known. A Boxer, jiski zindagi mein haar nahi hoga, aur har jeet meinuska pyaar uska saath hoga. Ab Mera ek sapna tha... Aur uskey liye mein din raathmehnat karney waala tha. Task 1 - 6 months and Getting 80% on boards. Joot nahibolunga. Aasan nahi hai. Bohat mushkil hoga, bohat mehnat karna padega. Hecticdays and sleepless nights. Par teek hai.
Sitting in the flight, Sid looks at the web page of the best boxing academy in California. Sid imagines winning every match he enters. Every time he had a cup in his hand, he looked into the crowd and smiled at Siyali standing and clapping for Sid. Sid remembers coming home after the last semester and preparing and time table. He stuck it by his table and studied like crazy throughout the holiday, listening to classes even while bathing and reading notes even while working out.

What is a dream if it doesn't keep you awake at nights?
Sid, now, looks outside at the clouds through the window as the flight was upon air and smiles.

Author's Note:

Hi guys! Hope you're enjoying the story so far. I recently got busy. Super hectic in weekdays and having time to write only on weekends which is also getting a little tough. But I'm going to continue and finish the season but will probably take some time, so bear with me. ;)

Secondly, since it's vacations in the warrior high world, I can only write about one set at a time. On by one the other characters will also be covered. Next episode will have Sid and Siyali's family along with Niti in the US having fun.

Also, with regards to Vibarth, I will not be dealing with them. But I will be giving an end, unfortunately for Vibarth fans, it'll not be a happy one. So heads-up! o.O

ViHan will obviously be there since many seemed interested. They will have a major role and will also have an ending, but I can't guarantee a happy or sad ending. Let's say, ... It's a secret :P 3:)

There will be two types of endings in this seasons. One would be the end of school, which will try to bring closure to characters. But since real world doesn't operate so, the present, aka 7 years later will have an open ending coz the gang has long life ahead of them.....

So that's it's for now. Hope that answers few of your questions and comments. See ya next week to reply to comments and messages, if any. :)
And hopefully with another episode very soon :D

The Final Chapter - A Warrior High Fan Fiction

[Written Series Episode 307]

Episode 6 - Somethings will never change

At Siyali's house, Siyali was busy giving instructions about Utkarsh and Niti's likes and dislikes with regards to food and stay.

Cook - I'm going to start cooking. No chances right?
Si - Yes. No chances. They're going to love you're food, Maria.
Cook - I hope they do!!

Siyali walks out of the kitchen to see her father smiling at her,

Nick - You seem excited.
Si - I'm. Woh, Utkarsh aur Niti ki sapna tha. Aisey hum sab saath international trip chaley. Kabhi socha nahi ki itni galdi poora hoga. I tried to remember everything they wanted to do and made a list. I'm gonna make sure that this trip is perfect for Utkarsh and Niti.
Nick - And Sid?

Nikhil asked Siyali curiously as she very rarely spoke about Sid,

Si (clueless) - Sid ka kya? Woh toh bohat saarey trips gaya hoga. It's gonna be just another trip for him. Humarey liye aisa nahi hai. Pehla international trip. Bohat chaas hai.

Nikhil patted Siyali's head smiling about her innocent love and affection for her friends,

Nick - I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun.

Siyali reciprocated with a smile and remembered the past as her father left her to continue her work,

[Flash back]
Siyali, Utkarsh and Niti were seen sitting on the floor in a room with books around them. While Siyali was busy studying, Utkarsh and Niti were discussing something really serious.

Ni - TV pe khana itney achi kaise dik sakti hai yaar. Kaas kartey woh jo humari paunch ki bahar hai.
U - Arey, humari paunch ki bahar toh sab kuch hai.

Seeing Niti and Utkarsh lament, Siyali decided to talk,

Si - Jab apna halat jaantey hi ho toh TV mein yeh sab ko dektey ho.

But the two didn't seem to hear her and continued to discuss,

U (tempted) - Argh! Deep dish pizza, Lambi chocolate mein dip karney waali donut (churros), Argh donut, Cake, lettuce waali burger.... Aisa kyun lagta hai ki yeh sab khaney ke liye seeda America jaana padega.
Ni (sarcastic) - Haan haan! Yahan paass waali dominos jaaney ki haysiyat nahi hai. America!?
U - Arey kyun nahi? Apdi Siyali hai na? Woh humhe leykey jaa'egi.
Ni (excited) - Haan!! Yeh hosakta hai.
Si - Main kyun?

Siyali asked with a stare as she was tired of Niti and Utkarsh's day dreaming all the time without putting efforts into their dreams,

U - Arey, yeh kaisi sawaal hai!? Tere ilava humhe leykey kaun jaa'ega?
Ni - Wahi toh! Humhe leykey nahi jaa'egi?

Siyali took her book and hit both Utkarsh and Niti in their head one time each and,

Si (advise) - Agar teek se padaai karogey aur achi kaam miley toh khud sey kahin bhi jaa saktey ho. Mujhe depend karna nahi padega. 10th ki boards paas aa raha hai. Aur tum dhono ab bhi serious nahi ho. Sirf sapna dektey rahogi? Ya uskey liye kaam karogey? Utkarsh, agar tu maths mein pass nahi hota aur Niti, tu average 70+ nahi legi, toh main tum dhono ko chodungi nahi.

Niti noded her head as she listened while Utkarsh had a big frown on his head. Why did Siyali have to bring in Maths when he was thinking about all good things. He kicked his box like a kid and,

U (complaining) - Itney bhook mein kaunsi padaai? Har taraf khana hi khana dikaayi dey raha hai. Mujhe cheese waali burger chahiye!! Peyt mein itna sab kuch ho raha hai, Maths mein kaise dyaan doon?

Siyali stared at Utkarsh while Niti patted on his shoulder. Siyali finally gave up and,

Si (in a mood) - Burger ka toh patha nahi, vada pav ke liye paisa hai mere paas.

She took out some money from her geometry box and extended it out. An exicited Niti tried to reach out when Siyali withdrew her hand,

Si - Wapas aaney ke baad, poori concentration ke saath padogey?
U, Ni - Haan!
Si - Soney sey pehley yeh chapter khatam kahogey?
U, Ni - Haan!

Siyali looked at the two to make sure they sounded sincere and later handed them the money while they took and ran over excitedly.

U - Tu duniya ki best hai Siyali!!

Siyali shook her head with an expression on her face wondering when they're going to get serious and got back to studying.
[Flashback ends]

Sitting by the table with all the food gone cold,

Si - Papa? Any updates? 2 gantey ho gaye hai!
Nick - Flight's been delayed, Siyali. Shayad aur time lagega! You eat your lunch!
Si - Aur time?

Siyali looks at the clock which struck 3pm,

Si (sad) - Bichara Utkarsh. Bhooki nahi reh paayega! Patha nahi uska ab haalat kaisey hoga.

"Sssssssrrrrp" Utkarsh was slurping loud from a tetra pack at the airport, while the others were looking for luggage in the belt.

UMaam - Aisey kaisey sirf Sid ka luggage miss ho sakta hai?

"Sssssssrrrrp" Hearing Utkarsh still sipping from an almost empty pack of juice, Urmila ma'am turned right to Utkarsh suspecting him. Following her, Sid and then Niti also turned right and together stared at Utkarsh,

U - Tum sab mujhe kyun dek rahe ho?
S - Tuney kuch kiya na?
U (sarcastic) - Mainey? Haan haan! Mainey tumharey luggage ke andhar drugs ki packet daal diya. Aur Delhi airport mein hi reh gaya.

Utkarsh looks at his mom who had a serious look on her face with her eye brows raised,

U - Mainey kuch nahi kiya. Main illegal cheezein thodi nahi karoonga. Sach mein. I have nothing to do with this.
UMaam - Let's go complain.

Urmila ma'am left along with Sid who stared at Utkarsh funnily with as he walked.

U (trying to convince) - Arey yaar! Mainey kuch nahi kiya! Aur waise bhi, Issey mere lunch time karab ho raha hai. Main toh Victim hoon.

Niti gives a fake smile and pats on Utkarsh's arm and follows Urmila ma'am.

U (whine) - Mainey kuch nahi kiya.

Utkarsh whined as he took the trolley and followed them as they went to complaint to the authorities.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another 2 hours later, they reach at Siyali's house, looking half dead,

Nick - Welcome home!!

They pass by Siyali and Nikhil without any reactions and fall on the sofa looking s tired except for Sid who tried to have a smile on his face and wished them with a small bow till his neck,

S - Hello, uncle!
Nick - Hello!

Nikhil turns to the others while Siyali had walked to them and sat in the sofa too,

Nick (confused) - Why do you all look so tired? Jet lag?
Ni (tired) - Woh Sid ka suit case miss hogaya, uncle. Aur jet lag bhi.
Nick - Did you find the luggage?
UMaam - Apparently it was wrongly put into a different flight. They'll deliver it by tomorrow morning.
Nick - But, How did that happen?

And Nikhil turned to Utkarsh as he heard from Siyali about all the pranks Utkarsh had been pulling on Sid. Seeing how Nikhil was looking at Utkarsh who was lying on two sofas with wide legs, gets up and,

U (whining in shock) - Uncle, aap bhi mere taraf kyun dekrahe ho?
S - It's probably just a procedural mistake, Uncle.

Sid tried to be the bigger man or act so, as his eyes moved from Nikhil to Siyali after the dialogue.

U (still complaining) - Exactly!! Tum sab ko aisa kyun lagta hi mere paas itna power hai ki main Sid luggage ko kisi aur flight mein daal sakta hoon.

Seeing everyone look suspicious at him,

U - Sab logically socho! Agar mera buss ki baath hai toh main Sid ka luggage nahi, Sid ko hi kisi aur flight mein dalta. Nahi, Siyali?

While the others were noding their head agreeing to Utkarsh's point,

Si - Valid point, Utkarsh!

Siyali said with a straight face before smiling,

U - Right! Sirf tu hi mujhe samajthi hai Siyali....

Utkarsh turned to his right to see Siyali.

Siyali was looking somewhere else and smiling, or to be exact blushing. An annoyed Utkarsh, knowing who was going at the end of the sight, still tranced Siyali's sight to Sid. Utkarsh gives a funny look and Rewinding back to few minutes ago, Sid smiles at Siyali as soon as the door was opened and so did she. She was looking at Sid even though she was sitting next to Utkarsh lying on the sofa. The two of them had been blushing and smiling at each other since they came. Seeing that they're in their own world, Utkarsh makes two L's with his finger and looking at Sid and Siyali's angle.

Utkarsh stands in front of Siyali in such a way that their view is hidden.

U (loud, funny) - Kab tak baath karkey rehengey! Bhook lagraha hai. Khana mileyga?

Siyali, realising why Utkarsh suddenly jumped in front of her, closed both her eyes with her palm and laughed. On the other hand, the others who were also getting awkward by Sid and Siyali's behavior,

Nick (murmuring to himself) - Thank you Utkarsh for that!!! (Out loud) Why don't you all freshen up, khana laganey ke liye bol deyta hoon. You can have an early dinner and take rest so you can enjoy tomorrow. Okay?
U, S, Ni - Okay, Uncle.
Nick - Girls, upstairs. Boys, down to the right.

As Siyali was still smiling, she noticed Niti standing in front of her with a playful grin which made Siyali stop blushing,

Si - What?
Ni (grinning) - Kuch nahi. Chaley?

Siyali and Niti go upstairs while Utkarsh checks out the food in kitchen. Sid was on his way to his room when he was stopped by Nikhil,

Nick - Sid? A word.
S - Yes, Uncle.
Nick - I heard Siyali and you aren't together. Is that true?

S (awkward) - Kind of.
Nick - What does "kind of" mean? It's a simple yes or no.

Seeing Nikhil look serious, Sid corrects the expression on his face to a serious one too,

S - Yes.
Nick - Good. (Scary) I don't want to see you trying anything with my daughter.... Jab tak yahan ho, Siyali sey at least 3 foot distance. And don't think I'm joking. Got it?
S (scared) - Yes
Nick - Good!

Nikhil pointed towards the room with a smile which was not one bit pleasing. Sid was a little taken aback as he walked towards his room. Nikhil stood with folded hands when Urmila ma'am walked from behind giving him a look,

UMaam - What was that?
Nick - What? I don't have to be a fun cool dad all the time

Nikhil said remembering what Siyali has told him while Urmila ma'am noded her head in slow motion with a smirk and "Mmhmm" which made Nikhil rethink his behavior,

Nick - Mainey kuch galat toh nahi kiya?
UMaam - No! It's a normal parent behavior.

He looked relieved and may be a little proud hearing this statement. Utkarsh walked out of the kitchen licking his finger after tasting some food,

UMaam - Utkarsh?
U - Haan, Maa.
UMaam - Sid ke paas change karney ke liye koi kapta nahi hai, just lend him a pair.
U (complaining) - Main!? Kyun?
UMaam - Toh woh kya pehnega?
U - I don't care!
UMaam - I do. So please help him out.
U - Maa!! Humara jagada chal raha hai.... main kaise....

Urmila ma'am stares at him to do what he's told,

U (angry) - This is so unfair, yaar!

Utkarsh walks to his room angrily while Urmila ma'am let's a deep sign and sits by the table facing the kitchen,

UMaam - I'm going mad, Nick! Bringing up one son was handful enough. Now I have two teenage sons. And they're fighting with each other. After years of being a vice principal and stopping the kids from getting into fights.... When it's our own kids, nothing works.
Nick - You sound frustrated!
UMaam - May be a little bit. Dhono chahtey hai ki main unki side loon. I'm a mother, I can't take sides. That's why I told you to put them together in the same room, ek saath aas paas rehengey, Jitna jagadna hai, yahin katham karkey wapas jaa'engey. I have a lot of things to sort out in school and I don't want to put their fight on my list. Parenting is hard!
Nick - That it is!

"Done properly, parenting can be a heroic act… Done properly" (Don't mind the time line miss match, dialogue seemed apt for the situation)

The two of them turn towards the TV in kitchen which was playing a scene from Incredibles. They look at each and laugh at the timing of the scene.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At around late night, a sleepy Utkarsh walked out his room rubbing his eyes looking a little lost,

UMaam - Utkarsh?

Utkarsh turned to the sound of his mother who along with Nikhil were sitting at the dining table talking and drinking.

UMaam - Need something beta?
U (sleepy) - Niti aur Siyali so rahe kya?
Nick - Woh dhono terrace pe hai.
U - Terrace?
Nick - Upstairs, Stairs to the Left.

Utkarsh went upstairs trying to find his friends. The terrace was beautifully decorated with mini garden and in the middle of the terrace was low wooden table where Siyali and Niti had put a fold-able bed and lied down. He looked down at them and,

U - Tum dhono aadhi raat terrace pe kya kar rahe ho?
Si - Meteor shower ka intezaar kar rahe hai.
U - Woh aaj hae?
Si - Hmm.
U - Main bhi join karley tha hoon.

Utkarsh lied next to them such a way that Siyali was in middle.

U - Kuch dikayi nahi deyraha hai.
Si - Ek minute.

Siyali claps her hand for the lights to go off and in the dark, the sky and stars became more visible.

U, Ni - Waaah!

For a few minutes, they admired the night sky before starting another conversation,

U - Kisiney aaj ki plan ke baarey mein mujhe bathaya kyun nahi.
Ni - Hum ney toh kahin baar bathaya. Tu toh one sided lover ke tarah poora vacation "Sid. Sid" kar raha tha ki humhari koi baath sunayi nahi di.

Siyali burst into a small laugh hearing this,

U - Main "Sid, Sid" nahi kar raha tha. Waise Sid sey yaad aaya... (Turning to Siyali) Siyali, teri papa toh ameer hai na. Mere aur Sid ke liye alag alag room nahi dey saktey tey? Room na sahi alag alag bed to dek saktey.
Si (smiling) - Ab kya hua.

Utkarsh continuing to look at the sky,

U (annoyed) - Woh useless Sid ke bagal mein sona padraha hai. Mere toh mann kar raha hai ki zhor ka laakh maaroon. Aur Sid spin kartey hue Bed sey bahaar.

Utkarsh enacted the spinning with his hands in the air,

Ni - Toh laakh maara?
U - Nahi. Abhi ke liye sonaney dey diya.
Ni (teasing) - Tu bahar sey jitna bhi ghosley, andhar sey Tere Bhai ke liye pyaar hi pyaar hai.

Niti made a small heart with her hands up in the air which Utkarsh hit to deny her statement.

U (angry) - Ab jaakey laakh maarkey aata hoon.
Si (laughing) - Utkarsh, itna gussa kyun. Chill karr.

She pats him on his shoulder to calm him.

U - Yeh Niti ki bachi, aaj kal kuch zyaada hi tang karney lagi hai.

And Niti continued to make heart with her hand in the air seeing which Utkarsh was fumming with anger. Siyali who was in the middle of this,

Si - Agar tum dhono ki hogayi toh..... Mujhe kuch kehna hai.
U, Ni - Kya?

Siyali gets up, slides down and sits on the table with her legs down. She looked worried and look a few breathes before speaking which made Niti and Utkarsh wake up too.

Si - Mainey yahin college karney ki faisla li hai.

Siyali looked down at the floor, seeming guilty. Niti and Utkarsh looked at each other.

Si - Main jald hi 18 saal ki honey waali hoon. Uskey baad 7-8 saal max. Ladki hoon, Shaadi karkey kahin jaana padega. Tab tak toh apney Papa ke saath reh sakti hoon. Unki poori zindagi unhoney ney mujhe dhoond ney kay liye aur mere liye insaaf ley ney kay liye laga di. Main unkey yeh bhi nahi karoongi toh main kaisi beti hoon. Par tum dhono bhi mere family ho and I promised. Main tum dhono ko kabhi chod key nahi ja'oongi. Humesha saath rahoongi. (Sad, teary) Sorry, woh waadha tod rahi hoon. Sorry, main achi dost nahi hoon.

Utkarsh, now looking annoyed, gestured Niti to come with him towards the front. Both of them got up and stood in front of Siyali,

U (angry) - Siyali? Tu kya kar rahi hai?

Siyali lifted her head up,

U (angry) - Kaunsi cheez ke liye maafi maang rahe ho?
Ni - Wahi toh. Apney Papa ke saath rehna chahna galti hai kya? Aur kaunsi waadey ki baath kar rahi hai? Agar humse dhoor yahan America mein rahogi toh humari dosti katam ho jaa'egi?

Siyali sat silently without any reply,

U - Waise bhi, humney already patha tha ki tu yahi karegi. It's too obvious. Abhi abhi apney Papa sey miley ho, obviously unhi ke saath rehna chahogi.
Ni - Hum bohat smart nahi nahi, par itna toh patha hai. Tujhe humhe explain karney ki ya maaf maangney ki koi zaroorat nahi hai Siyali.
U - Koi kuch bhi kahe, Tu duniya ki sab sey best hai. Aur woh koi nahi badal sakta hai.

Niti noded her head and slowly, Siyali was starting to cheer up,

Si - Toh tum dhono iss baath ko leykar naraaz nahi ho?
Ni - Bilkul nahi. Tujhe miss bohat kareengey. But hum tere liye khush hai. Kyun Utkarsh?
U - Haan! Bohat!

Utkarsh kneels down to match Siyali's height and,

U - Chahey jitna bhi dhoor, humesha saath rehengey. Yahan!

Utkarsh put both his hands on the left side of his chest, meaning the heart. While Siyali smiled hearing this sentence, they get distracted from the sound of Niti's laugher which she tried to control.

Ni (controlling) - Sorry. Woh kehtey hai na.... Bohat hi cringey tha!
U (embarrassed) - Hai na?

The three friends burst into laughter about Utkarsh's filmy dialogue when a meteor fell. Turning towards the sky,

Ni (excited) - It's starting.

Niti and Utkarsh ran to the edge of the terrace and looked at the meteor shower while Siyali stood up near the table and looked at Utkarsh and Niti from far as they enjoyed watching the sky.

Siyali's Narration - Duniya mein dho tarah hi dost hota hai. Apney generation ki shabdon mein bathaon toh... One, those you send Hi time to time to stay in touch. And Two, those you never say Hi or Bye to because the conversation never ends. Aur hum category 2 mein hai. I was cent percent sure that our friendship will last forever. But I wasn't sure if they'll be happy with my decision today. Par hum mature ho gaye. Humhe patha tha. Chachey jitna hi ek doosrey sey dhoor rahe, humari dosti kabhi kum nahi hoga. Because our friendship is something that will never change.
Siyali remembers daydreaming about their travel plans in the orphanage, the day before when Niti and Utkarsh left for Warrior High and the night they reunited with each other in Warrior High.

U - Siyali, jaldi aa na!
Siyali slowly walked towards them. In the present, Niti and Utkarsh tease Siyali over their group chat spamming her with pictures showing how even after many years they've not lost touch with each other.

No matter how far apart, we'll be close by heart. But does this concept apply only to friendship or even Love? I'm not sure.
Siyali also comes by the edge of the terrace and holds Utkarsh and Niti with both her hand where they look at the meteor shower as they hugged each other. As Siyali thought about Sid and turned towards the insides of the house, the expression on her face changed. A worried Siyali turns back towards the sky.

But I hope it does.
