Arnav with Lavanaya n NK’s help found khusi at right time n now he told her everything abt him being a vampire n him n Sheetal’s truth so let’s see what would be khusi’s decision after learning the truth of him a vampire.

Part 15

Khushi frowned in confusion "What do you mean?"

Arnav sighed "I wasn't really a big fan of Sheetal but ever since my father passed away I aimed to please my mother at every turn which is why I agreed to marry Sheetal"

"Why didn't you like her?" Khushi asked.

"Well she was kind of like my stalker" he winced.

Flashback

"Arnav!" Sheetal called out with a skip in her footsteps.

Arnav sighed. He ran his hand down his face and turned to face her "Yes Sheetal?"

She grinned "I've been looking for you all day. Where were you?"

He raised a brow "I didn't know my personal life was a part of yours"

She giggled "You're so silly. Anyways, I made you something to eat. Come with me"

He waved off her hand that was reaching for his "I have work to do Sheetal. Maybe some other time"

She pouted "Surely you have time to spare for me" she said batting her eyes.

"I don't and please stop doing that" Arnav said exasperated "It is not very becoming of you"

She frowned "Arna-"

"Have a good day Sheetal" he said firmly, walking away.

Flashback Ends

"Needless to say she was very happy when my mother sent a marriage proposal to her" Arnav narrated.

Flashback

"Arnav!" Sheetal squealed jumping onto him.

Arnav grunted and put her down "Yes Sheetal?"

"We are going to be married! We are going to be together forever!" she said gleefully.

"Yes" he agreed "We are going to be married"

"Where do you want to move to?" she asked "We can find a new cottage or maybe a mansion for us and our kids or mayb-"

"Wait hold on" he interrupted "I am not moving out. I wish to continue living with my mother to help her out in her senior age"

She widened her eyes "What?" she squawked "Why would you want to spend your youth looking after an old-"

"Don't!" Arnav warned "She's my mother. She raised me and my sister well even during the difficult times when our father passed"

"But I don't want to live with her" Sheetal whined.

"Then you don't have to marry me" Arnav said.

He turned to leave but Sheetal immediately wrapped her arms around him. He stiffened.

"No I agree" she said quickly "As long as I get to be with you"

He only nodded at her

Flashback Ends

"And then we got married" he continued.

Khushi looked at Arnav a bit uncomfortably "Did you two..."

Arnav shook his head "On the wedding night..."

Flashback

Arnav entered his now shared room to find Sheetal sitting on the adorned bed with her veil covering her face. When he closed the door he heard her giggle.

He sighed. She was now officially a part of his life. He would have to adjust to her.

He looked at her "You should probably get changed. It will be uncomfortable for you to sleep in that dress"

She lifted her veil and frowned at him "Aren't we going to..."

He shook his head. He sat at the end of the bed "Look Sheetal. Despite living near each other we barely know each other so I suggest we take our time with this"

She pouted "But I already know you well"

He stood up from the bed "Well I don't feel the same way about you"

He heard her rustle from the bed. When she hugged him from behind, he stood stiffly, feeling uncomfortable.

"But what if I want our child now" she whispered seductively.

Arnav immediately pulled away "I am not ready at all. Besides, I have enlisted in the military as you probably know" he turned to face her "I'm leaving in a few weeks and I don't know when I will be back. If or when we decide to have a child, I want to be there for him or her throughout everything. I hope you understand"

"Fine" she agreed grudgingly "But just know" she stepped closer and whispered "I will never deny you anything you ever want whenever you want"

He moved away immediately "Please get changed" he said gesturing to the bathroom,

Flashback Ends

"Sheetal would wear the most revealing outfits in an effort to entice me but it would never work" Arnav said "In fact at one point she began suspecting me"

Flashback

Arnav was reading the newspaper in the living room when Sheetal came at him "Who is she!" she screeched ripping the newspaper out from his hands.

He scowled "Whatever are you talking about Sheetal?"

"Don't act dumb with me!" she continued to scream "I know you're having an affair! That's exactly why you won't touch me"

Anjali came bouncing down the stairs from her bedroom after hearing the outburst "What's going on Sheetal?" she asked.

"Ask your brother" Sheetal exclaimed "Ask him who his mistress is"

Anjali looked at Arnav shocked "You're cheating on her? My best friend!"

Arnav stood up fuming "She's making false accusations"

"Then why won't you touch me?" Sheetal cried.

"For god's sake Sheetal you're sounding like a loose woman" he berated "I told you I want to spend some time getting to actually know you before we take any further steps forward"

"It's been three weeks!" she exclaimed "You're leaving the next week"

"Do you have someone on the side?" Anjali asked.

"Anjali stay out of this" Arnav said strictly. He turned to Sheetal "Stop dragging people into our situation. We will discuss this when I come back from the war" he growled, stomping off to their room to pack for his business trip.

Flashback Ends

"Believe it or not but back then Rohit was my best friend. We had grown up together and always been on each other's side. We even opened up a shipping business together" Arnav said.

"Rohit?" Khushi repeated confused "What happened to make you two enemies?"

Arnav clenched his jaw "He betrayed me..."

Flashback

Sheetal sobbed in their room. Arnav had just left for his business trip a few hours ago. He would be coming back two days later. Nobody was in the house with her. Her mother-in-law had gone to a prayer in the temple. Her sister-in-law had gone to her cousin's house. They both wouldn't be back for hours.

She had considered visiting her mother but she didn't want to tell her about the problems they were having even if they were mainly from her side.

Sheetal heard a knock and went to answer the door. Opening it revealed Rohit. She gave him a sad smile "What are you doing here?"

"Arnav forgot a file. I need it so I can send it to him through the mail as soon as possible" he replied.

She invited him inside and closed the door "It should be in our room. Follow me"

Rohit hesitated. It would be indecent to follow her into her bedroom but since there was nobody around he didn't think it was such a big deal. Besides, Rohit was sure his feelings for her wouldn't surface.

Yes it was true he was in love with his best friend's wife but she had never spared him a moment of her time. How he had loved her from afar and how it broke his heart when she married Arnav but now it didn't matter. She was officially Arnav's and off limits.

Following her into her bedroom, he sat on the bed as she went through the closet to look for the file. Finding it she handed it over to him.

Murmuring a thanks, he looked at her and noticed her puffy eyes "Hey what's wrong?" he asked "Why were you crying?"

Only a moment later she burst out crying. She collapsed on the bed and weeped.

He immediately wrapped his arm around her "Hey what's wrong?" he asked again concerned.

"Arnav's having an affair" she sobbed "I'm sure of it. That's why he won't touch me. Not once has he even kissed me"

Rohit couldn't help look down at her lips "I'm sure that's not true" he murmured "You're so beautiful"

She hiccuped "Do you really think so?"

He nodded "Yes of course"

"Then will you kiss me?" she whispered.

A surge of heat spread through his body. The angel on his right shoulder screamed at him that this was wrong. He should not go any closer to her. He would be betraying his best friend.

But the devil on his left shoulder told him that this is what he wanted. He'd be a fool to disregard her feelings and the attention he was finally receiving from her. So what if he'd be betraying his friend? At least he'd get the girl he loved.

Not taking too long to decide, he picked the devil's side and pressed his lips against hers.

Sheetal knew this wasn't the man she loved but she knew he was definitely cheating on her. That could be the only reason he wasn't giving her special attention. Using Rohit as an alternative would sate her needs for now and maybe if she gained some experience Arnav would finally notice her.

Responding to the kiss, she shoved the file off the bed and began unbuttoning his shirt.

Rohit immediately stopped her. He pulled away from her lips "Sheetal" he gasped "Are you sure you want this?"

She pressed her lips against him in response. Just like that all clothes flew off and they joined together igniting the fire within.

Unknown to Rohit, despite her moaning his name, it was only Arnav's name on her mind.

Flashback Ends

Khushi gasped "They cheated on you!"

He nodded "And it wasn't that once. They did so many times, especially when I had gone for the military"

"How did you find out?" she asked

"I found out the very day I came back" he answered wryly.

Flashback

"That b*stard got me pregnant!" Sheetal exclaimed.

After her throwing up episodes she had gone to the doctor to find out she was carrying a baby. Only problem was that it wasn't Arnav's.

She looked at the doctor "Give me something that will kill this child"

He looked at her bewildered "Are you sure Miss? You are two months along"

"Yes" she hissed "Give me something now!"

Frowning at her in disapproval he went to the back and brought back a bottle "Drink this before you go to sleep tonight. You will have bleeding tomorrow but the child will have died. However I can't assure you that this will suit you and you'll be able to have children in the future"

She waved him off. She would have children in the future, she was sure of that. She was a lucky one, her mother would always say. She just didn't want this particular child.

Sheetal quickly rushed home. Arnav was coming back today. She would have to hide the file and potion before he came back. Luckily she did beat him home and quickly hid everything in her drawer of inner wear. Knowing her husband, he would never dare open it.

She heard cheers coming from downstairs and knew Arnav was home. Smiling happily, she ran downstairs and hugged him. He chuckled and patted her back. The family did a quick celebration before finally retiring for the night.

Sheetal had the perfect plan. She finally got the experience she needed to entice her husband after experimenting on Rohit many times.

She grabbed two pieces of red lingerie and a thin short robe and rushed off to the bathroom forgetting to close her drawer in a hurry.

Arnav entered the room. Hearing the adjacent bathroom door close he knew Sheetal had just occupied it. He went to the closet she had left open to grab clothes for himself. That's when he noticed she had also left her drawer open. The file caught his eye. He was all for giving his wife her privacy but when he read that it was from the doctors he had to read it.

That's when he realized that she had been the unfaithful one...

I believe you have the character confused with another. Arpita is Sheetal’s mother and Ipshita is Arnav’s mother :)
