Chapter - 28

Days had passed rather quickly. Roli and sid got back to college. It was final semester for sid and he got busy with project works. And the rest of his free time, he had started to go to his dad's office. With all these changes, the only time they were together was while going to and coming from college.

Though, there were lots of changes happened in their schedules and they were spending less time with each other, their relationship only grew deeper and deeper even without expressing it out loud.

They both never failed to annoy each other whenever they got the chance. At the same time, they cared for each other more than anything else.

A few days later, the results of their previous semester got released and roli topped the college with highest percentage. When she got her result, she quickly rushed to sid to share the news.

Sid, along with his friends, was sitting at their usual spot. When roli reached them, both arun and nitesh said in unison "congratulations, roli".

"Thanks" roli smiled at them before turning to sid and asked "you knew it already?".

"Everybody might got to know by now" arun said as he played with his pen.

"Well.. it's nothing new to you, anyways" sid said without any excitement.

He was correct. She always used to be a top student all these years. So, he wasn't much surprised to see her result. But, for her, being praised by him matters a lot.

"What about your results?" Roli asked them.

"Got qualified for next semester and that's more than enough for us, am I right?" Arun looked at sid and nitesh. While they nodded in agreement.

Later in evening, roli and sid were on their way back to home. Roli keenly watched sid as if she was thinking something.

"Do you want to scare me with your staring?" Sid felt disturbed at her continuous gaze.

"You haven't congratulated me, yet" she pouted at him.

Sid stopped the car and looked into her eyes. "Would you mind if I treat you?"

Roli looked at him confused. Sid signalled to look outside. When roli looked outside, she found the car parked in front of a restaurant. With a smile, she turned to him, surprised.

"Let's go" sid got down from the car while roli too followed him.

It was the same restaurant, that sid had brought her to celebrate her birthday. After that they went to that restaurant a couple of times and it became roli's favourite. She felt excited to know sid brought her here again.

With the excitement and happiness, roli finished the food quickly. Sid went to make the payment, while roli enjoying the orchestra, playing at side.

"Hello, roli" roli turned around and found someone, whom she hated to see at the moment.

"Naina" roli mumbled as she wasn't expecting to see her.

"You seem so happy" Naina said in a mocking tone. "Oh.. why not you'd be happy? After all you topped the college" she continued.

Roli was surprised thinking of how did she know it. Cause after that incident, naina never went to college even once.

"No need to get surprised. I know everything" naina said with pride. Roli didn't react nor she replied anything to her.

Watching roli ignoring her, naina felt infuriated.

"I think you might be feeling so happy about all these caring from sid. But, let me tell you one thing.. that these all are for temporary and it'll come to an end soon" naina felt envious of roli's happiness and she started spilling the beans to snatch it away.

"What do you mean?" Roli was confused by her talks.

"I mean sid will stop caring for you once she returns back to his life" naina's words made roli to feel weird.

"She? Who's she?" Roli asked with a hint of hesitation.

"So, you don't know about her, yet. Seems like sid hadn't told you about his past" naina smirked.

"What are you blabbering about?" Roli was feeling anxious at her mysterious talks.

"I'm talking about the truth roli. The truth that you're unaware of and the person, whom sid loved and maybe.. still does" naina continued with a victorious smile as she found roli's face sinking low in fear.

Roli was actually started being anxious. She indeed didn't know anything about Sid's past and she never asked him too. But, today, with the sudden appearance of naina and her mysterious information about that someone in Sid's life were making her heart heavy.

"Who's she?" Roli asked nervously.

Instead of giving her answer, naina smiled and said "you better meet her directly when she returns to him".

By saying so, naina turned around and left the place, before she could fall in Sid's eyes. After getting slapped by him, she was too scared to face him again.

When sid got back, he found roli sitting like a lifeless body. "What happened?" He asked, tapping on her shoulder. "Are you okay?".

Hearing his concern filled voice, roli couldn't help but think about the words that naina had told.

Was there really someone in his past, whom he loved? That mere thought was sending dagger straight into her heart.

"Where are you lost?" Sid shook her slightly as he found her staring at him.

Roli got back to her senses and looked away. She rose up from the chair and said "I want to take rest".

"We're going home, anyways. Come" he took her hand into his and started walking.

Roli looked at her hand, which was in his hold. No matter how much she thought to ignore but, naina's words were not leaving her.

At night, roli kept tossing on her bed as she wasn't feeling like sleeping at all. After reaching home from restaurant, she forced her mind a lot to ignore naina and her words. But, she couldn't succeed. The more she thought to ignore it, the more it was haunting her. She even thought of asking about it to sid directly. But, she stopped thinking what if naina was just trying create misunderstandings between them. Sid would definitely go mad at her if she would ask him, believing in naina's words. So, she just kept that idea of asking him aside.

But, then again, naina didn't seem like she was telling any lie too. Her words sounded so confident that making roli scared.

If she decided to believe naina, then what about the girl she was talking about? Where's she now? Why sid never talked about her? So many questions kept going wild in roli's mind, leaving her with not a single moment to sigh.

Thats why u said like that yes we will kill you what is this update so short & one more villain entry in rosid life 😠😠 who is she was naina saying truth or just another plan to seperate rosid waiting for next eagerly update soon

Grrrr New villain who's she now. What that Naina was taking is it true or she's planning something. Poor Roli. Eagerly waiting Update ASAP Manuu.
