CHAPTER 24
"So sorry sweetheart...Actually some work came up..and so...I hope you will forgive me" apologised Samarendra
"No...it's Okay..." replied Roshni sweetly"
Samarendra eyed her from top to bottom "By the way you are looking drop dead gorgous" Samarendra muttered looking into her eyes.
"Thanks" replied Roshni cordially. But suddenly his arm went around her waist, making her gasp
"Sam...wo...actually...I'm...I'm .." her sentence was left incomplete
"Not comfortable?" He took a pause, and looked into her eyes "its okay Roshni. I know our relationship is new. Everything happened in haste...but it's okay...Romance karne ke liye puri Zindagi pari hai" he said against her ear, without removing his hand from her waist
"AHEM!!" Came a fake cough, and both averted their gaze towards Sidharth passionate flaming gaze.
His eyes travelled down to Samarendra hand which was latched to her Waist...and he clenched his hand
Roshni could feel the rage which was radiating off Sidharth..and prayed to God...to calm him down
"Ah so much PDA from the newest lovebirds in town" Sidharth mocked sarcastically, as he approached with Misha holding his hand.
Roshni quickly moved away from her fiance..and that's when she noticed Misha clinging to Sidharth arm..
The sight pinched her heart..
"Misha this is Samar...whatever"
"Samarendra" he replied rolling his eyes
"Yeah Yeah. .and Roshni Patel. ..you remember her right"
Misha looked her up and down surprised
"Yeah. I remember " her tone mocking
"Hi.." replied Roshni through gritted teeth.
Sidharth and Misha closeness was working her
Sidharth smirked, and pulled Misha even closer to himself before he spoke again
"And this is Misha. ..my..." he stopped taking a glance at Roshni...who face turned slightly green with envy
"Girlfriend" he finished..
Roshni felt her breath hitch in her throat...and she fiddled with her dupatta
Misha smiled whole heartedly hearing the word Girlfriend
"Oh That's nice. Pleasure to meet you Misha" said Samarendra, and took her hand for a small handshake
Sidharth smiled at Roshni "Shall we...get a move on"
"Of course...let's go Sweetheart" replied Samarendra
"Roshni! Roshni is her name. Not sweetheart" blasted Sidharth suddenly, who had enough of this silly endearment...shocking everyone present
Samarendra extended his hand towards Roshni, ignoring Sidharth sarcastic remarks, which she took hesitantly...making Sidharth restless even more.
The couples sat in their respective cars. The roads were lonely and they managed to reach their destination with twenty minutes
The cars came to a halt and Samarendra quickly opened the door for Roshni...
Sidharth opened the door for Misha. ..
"Shall we" Smiled Sidharh and together they entered the hotel
Sidharth had bought then to one of most classiest Resturants in town, obviously belonging to the Khuranas,
There was another round of awkward silence, after they had settled on their table..Misha was busy on her mobile whilst Samarendra gazed around the room in awe.
Sidharth couldn't take his eyes of Roshni...and he didn't care who noticed. Completely unashamed
"So" Sidharh was the first to break the Silence, shifting his gaze away from Roshni to Samarendra
"What would would everyone like to order"
As on cue everyone picked up their menus.
Whilst they waited for their order...Samarendra asked
"So how did the two of you meet? " referring to Sid/Misha...and Misha face lit up
"Actually I have always liked Sid, but I could never express my feelings to him before. But recently, I found out that he feels the same way about me ..I was ecstatic. When he told his parents he loved me..I couldn't believe it" Misha chirped with a huge grin on her face.
She rested her cheek on Sidharth chest
Samarendra smiled at her "How Romantic. I'm so happy for you guys"
Roshni felt sick watching the two of them together, whilst Sidharth secretly enjoyed her reaction. She was definitely jealous
"Less than 24 hours ago he told me he loved me. I was crazy to trust him again! " she cursed Sidharth in her mind. "Par mujhe kya? He can do what he wants..."
Samarendra gazed around the restaurant, whilst Misha remained busy on her phone
The waiter came with their drinks, and Sidharth got up, helping the waiter pass the drinks around. From the corner of her eye, Roshni saw Sidharth push the waiter deliberately, and the wine fell on Samarendra. right below his stomach.
Samarendra instantly got up and groaned
"I'm so sorry Sir!" the waiter apologised..but Sidharth smiled with self satisfaction
Roshni glared at a smirking Sidharth, and then turned her attention back to Samarendra
"Are you okay Sam?"
"Yeah. .Samar whatever are you okay" Sidharth mimicked her, pretending to be innocent
"I'm fine. Just excuse me for a minute..I'll just go and clean this up" he smiled at Roshni.
Sidharth sat down and continued to stare at her.
"Darling..." said Misha holding his arm tightly, tracing her finger down his chest...much to Sidharth displeasure
Roshin heart dropped in her stomach...just seeing them together. .And she turned her face away..
Sidharth held Misha hand and pushed her away slightly, and whispered "behave"
It was not long when Samarendra joined them..and they all began to eat.
Every time Samarendra would try and talk to Roshni..Sidharth would intervene. With a handful of questions..to which Samarendra would reluctantly reply.
Sidharth would not allow him to even speak to Roshni for even a second
The dinner continued in silence. Sidharth kept looking at Roshni from time to time, watching her cute frowns. .
Slowly he moved towards her, as her eyes widened
"Sid. .Sidharth. ..w. .what are you doing? " she whispered
He picked up a napkin to clean her mouth as some sauce was left near her lips.
The moment his hands touched her face Roshni froze. She looked at him wide eyes and gestured "what" by raising her eyebrows.
He smiled slightly and moved his hand to clean her face. He cupped her cheek and wiped off the sauce from the corner of her lips and brushing his fingers on her lips making her close her eyes, because of his touch. He caressed her cheeks with his thumb and leaning slowly towards her ear
"If we were alone, toh I would have cleaned it in a different way" he said in a husky voice and then moved away..making her blush
Samarendra looked at them. ..confused
"My best friend bhi nah,.still eats like a little child. What would she do without me" smirked Sidharth jokingly.
Samarendra wasn't sure whether to smile or be angry seeing the closeness
Misha on the other hand was totally pissed off, seeing their closeness..taking drink after drink to calm her nerves.
Soft music began playing in the background and couples got up to dance.
"Would you like to join me for this dance sweetheart" asked Samarendra, holding out his hand
Sidharth gaze shot up to Samarendra and then to Roshni...shaking his head in a "No
"Woh. .I...actually" she tried to think of an excuse but he paid no heed and pulled her to the dance floor.
Sidharth scrunched up his face and dragged Misha to the dance floor. .
Both couples danced..as Sidharth thanked the heavens that it was not a romantic song.
Misha in the other hand was dancing sensually, drinking a glass of vodka, which hiked Roshni anger unknowingly.
Whilst dancing Samarendra remembered something and excused himself. ..Roshni was left alone and was about to walk back to her seat when
"Let's dance" a stranger smirked and held her hand. Her hand was on his chest whilst his hand went around her waist forcefully.
Sidharth instantly deserted Misha and walked towards HIS damsel
"Leave me" she protested, as she turned to look at Sidharth
Roshni could see the invisible smoke coming out of his ears.
Sidharth pulled the guy away in less than a minute and gripped his jaw
"How dare you touch her! Huh! How dare you!"
He punched him in the face and Roshni tried to hold him back, buy he jerked her away.
Unable to control his rage, Sidharth then tried to strangle the guys neck with his hand
"You were holding her like this na. Kaise laga ab?" He shrieked as the man tried to loosen his grip..
The hotel security came and begged their boss yo let go. Reluctantly he did.
Sidharth glared at the man and pulled Roshni for a dance, whilst giving eye instructions to the manager to change the music to a romantic one
"Sidharth what are you doing. B...Behave"
His hot breaths fanned across her face, and his finger roamed on her lower waist. Roshni pushed him slightly on his chest, and in return he pinched her waist, making her eyes widen.
Sidharth just chuckled at her reaction continued to caress her bare waist looking lovingly into her eyes...swaying back and forth
"You know how beautiful you are looking tonight..Nazar hatane ko dil nahin kar raha. You are making me insane" his thumb brushed her cheeks, making her gasp.
His face was so close, that she could feel his breaths close to her lips, sending shivers in her whole body.
Without wasting another second, he leaned forward and kissed the crook of her neck.
Roshni grip tightened on his shoulder, feeling his feather like kiss..
Luckily there intimate moments, were hidden due to the dim lights of the restaurant
"Sidharth stop it...Sam...he'll be back. What will he think?"
Sidharth casually shrugged his shoulders "Do you think I care what he thinks" he whispered on her ear...brushing his lips purposely against her ears
"Sidharth! Stop it. Mujhse dur reh kar baat karo... " She frowned looking around. Thanking God Sam wasn't back yet
"Why Jaan? Why should I stay away from you?
That Samar whatever, tumse itna chipak raha tah... tumhe bura nahin laga. But mere kareeb aane se tumhe bura lag raha hai..." he asked through gritted teeth, remembering that idiots hand on her waist
"That's because he's my Fiance" she replied, without making eye contact...He slammed his jaws hard.
"Yeah Right! he's your Fiance...but I will be your HUSBAND" he smirked and quickly planted a feather like kiss on her hair, making her heart flutter..
Roshni looked away, struggling slightly under his grip,.when she noticed Misha fuming face.
"Aren't you forgetting your GIRLFRIEND!" Hissed Roshni suddenly "Go and dance with her! Why are you wasting your time here with me?"
"Huh...where did Misha come from?" He looked on confused, but then smirked as realisation dawned on him
"Omg! Jaan you're jealous" he chuckled
"No I'm not!" She looked everywhere but his eyes.
"Yes you are" he said happily
"No I am not!"
"Let me guess you saw her clinging to me, and dancing with me...and you got jealous?"
Roshni huffed and puffed as she couldn't come up with an excuse
"But it's okay...Sidharth ki Jaan, there is no need to be jealous..I'm all yours" he winked
He leaned in, as his breaths turned more heavy. He unpinned her hair...letting her hair run loose
"Jo mera hai...woh sirf mera hai. Only I'm allowed to see and touch your bare back.
"Sid...Sidharth..."
"Ishq mein matlabi bhi hona jiaz hai" he muttered seductively into her ear..and instantly pecked her cheek...
"Roshni" came Samarendra voice "Sorry to keep you waiting.."
Samarendra returned and apologised, stating he had to make an important phone call.
"I'm sorry I had to leave our dance midway. That too on my favourite song.. Trust me I wanted to dance with you, but I guess one doesn't get everything one wants" he sighed, holding her hand
"HIGH TIME YOU REALISE THAT SAMAR WHATEVER. BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY YOU ARE YOU GOING TO GET WHAT BELONGS TO ME. ROSHNI ISN'T EVEN ALLOWED IN YOUR DREAMS. AND YOU BETTER GET YOUR FILTHY HANDS OFF HER...VARNA MR SIDHARTH KHURANA WILL BECOME YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE." Sidharth hissed under his breath
"There is no point crying over spilled milk..." this time his voice a little louder, to which Samarendra just rolled his eyes and let go of Roshni hand
Roshni quickly stood away from Sidharth, and pushed a few stray strands behind her ear nervously
"Let's go...and sit shall we " Sidharth grinned as he held Roshni by the arm and dragged her back to the table, followed by Samarendra..who was not liking this friendship..
In the meanwhile , Sidharth received a call and excused himself, leaving the three alone.
Roshni also made an excuse for the washroom and followed suit. As Misha furrowed her eyebrows.
Grabbing Sidharth by the arm, Roshni dragged him into the washroom..and pinned him against the wall. Angry...Jealous. ."
"Ah...Aman...I'll call you back" Sidharth said cutting his call.
"What's your problem Sidharth?" She asked furiously
He looked at her, and raised his eyebrows
"You're the one who pulled me into the washroom, locked the door and pinned me to the wall. Iraada kya hai" he smirked
"Haan if you are planing on raping me..Then mein chilaunga . ..." after a pause "NAHIN"
He winked "you can do whatever you want to me.." he said, brushing his fingers lightly across her lips
Roshni immediately jerked his hand away
"Shut up okay?" She scolded
Roshni wanted to argue with him, but realising what she had done stepped away. Creating some distance between them
"What are you doing Sidharth?" She asked a little less angrier
"What am I doing?" He pretended, even though he knew exactly what he was doing
"Why did you invite us for dinner if all you wanted to do is misbehave with Sam. If you hate him so much why did you call us here" asked Roshni demandingly
"Wow. Such affection for your so called fiance" he added sarcastically..
Roshni walked closer "Sidharth why are you doing this? "
Sidharth suddenly grabbed her by the waist "You know why. Because I love you and I can't bear to see you with anyone else. He wants to get to know you better...but I will never let that happen..NEVER"
Taking the opportunity Sidharth grabbed her by the waist and turned pinning her to the wall. Sidharth leaned in and kissed her cheek
"Sidharth stop this...Sam and Misha...Stop being so selfish ." But Sidharth was in no mood of letting her go
"Just forget about them..You belong to me. ONLY ME"
"Tumhe kaise laga ke tum mujh pe haq jata sakte Ho! Stay away from me" she hissed trying to loosen his grip
"Siirf mera haq hai tumpe. Do you get that..Because I'm your hone wala husband...Sidharth ki Jaan ho tum"
Sidharth slowly leaned in and rubbed his nose on her bare shoulder, inhaling her sweet fragrance, and slowly he let go of one of her pinned hands and reached down to her waist..
Roshni was shocked and didn't know what to do. How to react, as she to was losing herself in his touch.
His fingers began to trace her back whilst the others pushed her hair to one side and he placed a few wet kisses on her shoulder, and she clutched her wrists
She was driving him insane. ..
"Four of the most painful years of my life I have spent away from you - missing you terribly. You have no idea how I managed to stay alive when you were not there. And I don't think I will be able to survive...if I loose you again. I'm sorry if I am being difficult, but I can't help it. And if being selfish, I can have you all to myself - so be it. I am honoured to be marked the most selfish person of th4 entire universe. ..if it means I can get to keep you FOREVER"
His words choked her...She didn't know how to react. A lump formed in her throat, making it difficult for her to speak
Sidharth continued to kiss her neck slowly and seductively, as Roshni stood still, not knowing how to react. She was getting goosebumps on his touch
After what seemed like forever, Sidharth looked up into her eyes
"If I ever see him touching you..holding your hand..then I will not be responsible for the consequences! "
He pecked her forehead and left the washroom, as Roshni stood flabbergasted. .unable to get herself to move
Just then Misha walked into the bathroom and glared at her angrily...
The smell from her mouth indicated that she had been drinking a lot
"Why don't you just stay away from him Nerdy Patel"
Roshni narrowed her eyebrows. .but did not say anything
"You just can't stay away can you. After all I did to separate you..You're back in his life!" She hissed
Roshni suddenly looked at her "What did you say?"
Misha smirked.."It was so well planned. Sidharth was innocent. Poor guy. He had nothing to do with you being locked in that Store room. But I put the blame on him, because I wanted to break up that so called friendship you both had..." After a pause..
"Friendship my foot! The way he looked at you..cared for you. Protected you. Anyone could see low much he was in love with you. Expect the two of you. Idiots. I've liked him since I was a kid. He was my only true friend. My best friend. But then you came along and took that away from me. I hate you. I hate you so much ...So I did what I had to do... I made the plan that I would separate you two for good" she blurted out the truth in her drunk state
Tears began to escape Roshni eyes "You're lying. You knew i was Claustrophobic..A fact only Sidharth knew"
Misha smirked as she tried to steady herself
"Oh that..When you told Sidharth I overheard..and used it to cut a wedge between your friendship. And it worked. You blamed him for everything and left. .My poor innocent Sid was devastated when you left. But who cares. My plan worked for 4 years...I managed to keep him away from you.THEN WHY DID YOU COME BACK INTO HIS LIFE. ..WHY!"

Roshni stood there...very cell in her body raged
"How dare you...How dare you play with our feelings. .." her eyes teared up "Because you...I...I...didn't trust him. I blamed him. Because of you...you..." but before she could finish; Misha grabbed her neck
SLAP
"All these years I blamed him for a crime he did not commit. Her eyes welled up...guilt took over
But before she could Hurt her she collapsed on the floor. Totally drunk
Roshni ran out and called Sidharth. ..
Sidharth placed her in the car and looked back at Roshni. Not wanting to leave her alone with Samarendra
"Come Roshni I'll drop you"
Samarendra stepped forward "it's okay. I'll take her home. You just look after Misha"
Sidharth looked at Roshni and she nodded that she was okay.
It took every cell in his body to tell the urge to drag her into his car...but he couldn't. She was already mad with him.
With a heavy heart he had no choice and left the two alone as he drove away. ..
