With that she got up and left, he sighed, how could he like her so much already, he had watched her working and admired her, how was he meant to ask her out? it would be tough but Angad knew that he had to because he couldn't get enough of Kripa Sharma
Chapter 3
Angad didn't sleep much over the past few days, whenever he tried to sleep he would dream about Kripa, and if he woke up he would picture Kripa in front of him, he was in a bad state, the woman had such a huge effect on him and they had only known each other for a few weeks, was that possible?
Angad sighed, he shut the door to his office and stood by the stairs to the kitchen, he could see Kripa running here and there giving orders, he saw her smile if the food was perfect and saw her slam her fist on the work surface if it wasn't. She was beautiful, even though she was wearing an apron and a chefs hat, indeed she was beautiful. Kripa caught eye of Angad standing on top of the stairs, she smiled and stood at the bottom
"was there something you wanted?" she asked, ever so politely
"erm no" Angad replied somewhat nervously
She smiled and turned around, Angad sped down the stairs and caught her arm
"yes in fact there was"
"well, what is it?" she asked
He looked into her eyes, breathed deeply and went for the plunge
"would you care to have dinner with me tonight?"
he said it so fast, she had a blank expression on her face. Angad looked at her, thinking of how he must have sounded, like a right idiot he concluded.
"well?" he asked her
"erm......"
"She is going to reject me" he thought, well why shouldn't she, he was her boss, she probably thought he was taking undue advantage
"you're standing in a restaurant.....asking me out for dinner? how ironic" Kripa looked at him, she considered it for a while and nodded her head
"ok, i'll have dinner with you, on one condition"
"condition? erm what is it?" he wondered
"i'm not cooking anything" she bluntly replied
"oh....of course....yes don't worry we will go to a restaurant or something, is that ok?"
Kripa looked at the workers, she held up her finger to Angad to wait, she turned and spoke to the assistant head chef. Angad saw him nodding his head and smiling away, he then noticed Kripa taking off her apron and hat, she got her coat and bag and stood in front of Angad
"lets go"
"now?" he looked at her to see if she was serious or not
"yes now" she was serious
"ok then....lets go"

Kripa finished ordering her food, Angad figured that if no one knew when they entered, that everyone in the restaurant would now know that Kripa was a chef.
They are so.......precise about their food, they might as well be inside cooking it themselves. Angad snapped out of his thoughts when the waiter bought some champagne over, he poured some for himself and some for Kripa, he decided now was the right time to find out anything and everything about her.....before the food came.
"so where in the US did you live?"
She stared at him "New York"
"nice place....i've been there once or twice"
"oh really...."
Kripa was trying to figure Angad out, was he the type of boss that wooed his employee so he could sleep with her? or was he the type of boss that......was hard to find? She would soon find out, he kept asking her all sorts of questions, she felt as if she was giving her interview all over again, before he asked another question the food came
"thank god" she thought.
Angad was glad the food came, he had never spoken so much before, but that was only because she was hardly speaking, he hated akward silences, they began eating their food when she came out with something Angad would never have thought of
"so am i going to be your playmate at work?"
Angad almost spat his food out, "she thought that" he said to himself, he put his fork down and made Kripa put hers down, he looked her firmly in the eyes and replied
"no.....what makes you think that?"
"well....i've never been asked out by my boss before"
"is that a bad thing?"
"well....depends" she tilted her head slightly, Angad could have melted
"depends......on what" he asked casually
"its bad if you're just in it for....physical reasons...its good if...."
"im not in it for that!" he intterupted her, he was shocked she thought that, he felt like walking out but he stayed in his seat, mainly because the food was quite expensive and he was hungry
"oh.....but anyways like i was saying, its good if....you are actually interested in me"
"and why wouldn't i be?"
He looked at her "had this turned into a debate?" he thought
Kripa turned red "he does like me" she smiled to herself and apologised, Angad was quite surprised at her sudden change of behaviour, she began talking more and asking him questions, which was a good thing.....wasn't it?

Angad had dropped Kripa off at the restaurant because her car was there, he had then driven to his three bedroom house, which was quiet, his house mates Vivaan (from KAA) and Rishi (From KTH) had gone out, he sat on the couch in his room and put his head back, he analysed tonights "date" if you could call it that, things had gone well up until the food came, then went slightly downhill with the argument but picked up during desert, he had a mental discussion with himself as to if he should have given her a good night kiss, but that would have been too soon, she did give him her number though, which was very good,
"should i call her now?" he looked at himself in the mirror, he took his phone out and keyed her number in he put his finger on the call button and wondered if to press it. He was lost in himself until he heard her voice
"hello?"
Angad panicked, he dropped the phone on the floor and quickly picked it up, he was about to disconnect but Rishi had come in and shouted his name and Kripa had heard
"Angad...is that you? she asked
Angad cursed himself and answered
"yes...its me"
"why weren't you speaking before?" she sounded curious
Angad racked his brain for an excuse but couldn't find one, slowly he spoke
"i erm....was deciding on if i should call you, i guess God decided i should" he chuckled
Kripa wasn't amused,she had just got in and had ran the water for a bubble bath, she sat on her bed in her bathrobe and sighed
"well is there anything in particular that you wanted to talk about?"
"i was wondering if you would be up for a movie?"
Kripa was shocked, they had only just got back from.....a date, dare she call it that and already he wanted more?
"Kripa..you there?"
"yes i'm here....erm can i get back to you?"
"sure sure thats ok, i'll see you tomorrow at work"
He hung up, Kripa lay back on her bed and closed her eyes, Angad was a decent enough guy but he was her boss, wouldn't it affect her work?
"No" another part of her brain spoke, she had known so many girls who were in sucessful relationships with their bosses......ok she only knew one, but still that was enough.
Kripa got up and headed to the bathroom, she decided to sleep on it, she would decide whether or not she would go out with Angad again, when she was at work the next day......hopefully she would have made up her mind by then.
