PART 17




Around 6 in the next morning. Siddhant slowly opens his eyes from sleep and looks at Roli who is sleeping on his chest, cuddled to him. He smiles as he kisses on her forehead and brushes off her hairs that have fallen on her face. He watches her, her splendor that still awes him. Last night, he had managed to pacify her by spending some close moments with her, keeping her engaged with his presence and touches that can make her forget anything else in the planet. But on a serious note, even he's not yet out of anxiousness completely. He has to settle everything for good today and that's a must. He thinks of something and feels it's time for them to get up.


"Roli wake up!' he calls her as he makes her lie on the pillow and softly touches her shoulder. But Roli doesn't budge; instead she moves closer and snuggles to his chest again, hugging him tightly. Sid chuckles at her act and nudges her more strongly, to wake her up and at the same time to enjoy the fun in irritating her right at the morning.


"Roli, get up na!'


"Shut up Siddhant. Let me sleep' Roli retorts in a half conscious state and snakes her arms round his neck, her eyes still closed. . Sid giggles at her cute rebuke and bites his lips as he thinks of some plan to irritate her.


A moment, later Sid's naughty brain gets loaded with a fresh idea to annoy his girl. He slowly moves his hand inside the blanket they are sharing while glancing her with his mischievous smile. And then he does that what can freak out Roli easily; he tickles her.


Roli instantly jolts as she feels his cold fingers on her skin. She wide opens her in panic and finds Sid biting his lips trying to control his laughter. She is about to yell at him when he does it again.



"Ahhh!' she screams as she squirms while he continues to tickle her laughing crazily. Roli finds it really crazy; she can't really take this tickling. She literally rolls on the bed to escape him, but doesn't succeed as he keeps par with her and tickles her more.


"See! See! See! Roli...Roli...' Sid teases as he continues to tickle her to glory.


"Ahh...Ha ha ha...Siddahnt! Stop no!' she protests breathlessly, still laughing. Finally she manages to push him by his chest and sits up on the bed. She heaves hard as she tries to compose herself. Sid chuckles and in one go, sits up on bed close to her, ready to tickle her again. But Roli turns in the nick of time and holds his hand.


"Not again! pleaseee!' she begs with a puppy face while he giggles and punches on her nose lightly.


"I hate you for this!' Roli says keeping a grumpy face, while Sid giggles again irritating her to the core. She smacks him with a pillow while he quite effortlessly pulls it from her and keeps in his lap, increasing her annoyance. Totally irritated, she tries to get out of the bed but he pulls her back again, making her heart skip a beat. Yet, Roli tries loosening his grip on her wrist while he gazes at her dreamily while involuntarily resisting her attempts. He feels proud and happy that this beauty is all his while she is all in attempts to free herself. and that's when she notices the sort of look in his eyes. The strong, intense and piercing gaze makes a shiver run down her spine and she stops her attempts like she's frozen in to an iceberg. Sid inches closer to her while Roli closes her eyes sensing the desire and passion in his orbs. He pauses at a distance from her face, where both of them could feel each other's warm breath. Sid inhales in her sweet fragrance and tucks a strand of her loose hair behind her hair while she opens her eyes, so much in need to watch the love he has for her in his eyes. Their eyes get locked as she opens her eyes to meet his. Slowly, Sid pulls her in to his warm, comfortable hug, while Roli rests inside his arms, feeling like heaven.


"I wish all my mornings begin like this, in your arms.' she says as she draws imaginary circles on his chest.


"Thadasthu Roliji! Coz this boy is always there to fulfill that wish of yours.' Sid replies with a chuckle while Roli smiles digging her face in to his chest.

A while later. Sid slowly pulls back himself from her, while Roli looks at him confused.


"Let's freshen up now.' he says as he turns and adjusts the pillows.


"But why? Look at the clock; it's just 6:30. Let's sleep a little more na!' she pleads nudging his arm while Sid smiles at her innocence.


"We'd have Roli. But you see, we need to make it fast. We have to leave in a while.' he says as he grabs her chin and makes her look in to his eyes. Roli shrinks her forehead in confusion while Sid looks in to her face, sensing what's running in her mind.


"No doubts Roli. I came to pick you up. We're leaving. Things have to settle down and that too today. Enough of this hide and seek.' Sid says while Roli looks in to his eyes panicked.


"But Siddhant! How? I mean...' she mumbles incoherently as she grips the bed sheet nervously. Sid touches her shoulder first, and then holds her.


"Roli! look in to my eyes.' he orders while Roli obeys him quietly. "I knew this would happen. That's why I kept it away from you last night. The lovely moments and good sleep we had would have never happened if you would have known it earlier. Roli, I told right, I'm there for you. I will manage everything. So wipe this anxiety off your pretty face and give me a good smile.' he asks cupping her face. Roli smiles though not fully convinced, while Sid inches closer to her and plants a kiss on her forehead. He places his lips on her forehead for a while and hugs her so as to calm the apparent storm inside her.



One and a half hour later. Roli hugs Shreya as they are on the doorstep to leave. Sid and Akhil watch over as Roli's eyes begins to get moist.


"Thanks Shreya. I know I've troubled you a lot, but I'm sorry for all that. I know I haven't even talked you properly but...' Roli becomes silent as Shreya places her finger on her lips.


"Shh...Enough! I understand you Roli. No one in your situation could have behaved different from you. But I tell you, you are really nice. In fact I'm happy that we could at least do this for you guys when Siddhant Bhai have done a lot more us. Not that we're comparing, but it's our duty. And don't worry after all we're friends right? She asks while Roli nods with a smile and hugs her again. A moment later as they pull back, Sid swirls the bike keys and turn to Akhil.


"So buddy! we've to leave now. See you some time soon.' he says as he taps on his shoulder. Akhil holds his hand and gives him a hug.


As they break thee hug, Akhil holds his hand again and asks "Siddhant, is it necessary? I mean are you sure things will be fine now? Is it safe to take Roli now? I mean..You're not taking her away in hesitation to keep her with us right?' he questions tentatively. Sid chuckles at his question and slaps slightly on Akhil's shoulder.


"Yaar you know me. If that's the case, I would have said that at your face. And just think, if I would have hesitated, I would have never sent her here. In fact, you guys where the first faces that came to my mind when I thought of a place where I could leave my Roli with all surety. I knew that with you people, she will be utmost safe. So throw those unnecessary thoughts in trash. Now it's really necessary that all this should end on a good note. We can't keep her under covers forever right? A full stop is necessary. That's why we're leaving this soon. But don't worry, just as this fuss gets over, we'll be coming back to you guys, most probably during our honeymoon trip.' says Sid as he pulls Roli to him, making her smile. Akhil and Shreya too share a smile at the moment while Roli goes to Akhil and gets Nia from him.



"Aunty is leaving baby doll. Give a kissy!' she asks while little Nia plants a sweet kiss on her cheek making everyone go 'Awww'. Sid also comes and plays with her before they wave a final bye and gets on his bike.


"Take care guys! Be sure things are gonna be alright!' Akhil wishes with a thumbs up while Sid nods with a smile. Roli looks thankfully at Shreya while she nods promisingly at her. Sid starts off the bike blowing a kiss along for Nia while Roli waves at the family who are watching them with warm smiles and feelings



A little later. Roli is so lost in thoughts behind Sid and he very well becomes aware of her state.


"Roli! Hold me and sit or else you're gonna fall.' he warns her while she, being snapped out from her thoughts holds his waist quickly.


"Yaar stop thinking so much! I know you're nervous but be brave. I'm with you and I would die but not let any danger touch you. Whatever that comes to hurt you has to face me first before it can reach you. understood?' Sid questions while Roli, being so moved by his words, leans on his shoulder, closing her eyes. Her heartbeats that could be felt at his back tell Sid what she has to say. Her love for him, her gratitude for all that he does for her and all those deep feelings inside her. Silently, he pulls her one palm to his lips and kisses it as he promises himself yet another time that he'll change things for good and to not let another tear drip from his Roli's eyes.
