CHAPTER 7-b
"Will you come out yourself or should I pull you out?' Roli opens her one eye as she hears this. Her heart flutters like crazy seeing Siddhant bending on the floor, looking at her intently. "Roli, you're so screwed today...'she says to herself. "Can't you hear me? Come out...' orders Siddhant in an authoritative voice. Roli just bites her lips and looks like she is about to cry. "Come out or I will pull you out...' warns Sid again which makes her to crawl out of the bed silently. She holds the bed quietly and gets on her feet while Sid jumps to his feet too. Roli couldn't collect the courage to raise her eyes and look at Siddhant who is half naked just before her eyes. So she chooses to keep her gaze affixed on the floor. "What were you doing under my cot?' asks Sid trying to be serious. Roli keeps her lips glued to each other not able to answer his question. "Roli...I'm asking you...' repeats Siddhant but Roli doesn't break her silence. "Roli...' he calls as if it's an ultimatum and probably the strength in his tone made her to look up. "I...me...' she begins nervously. "What's this I...Me? Losing words now? You were brave enough to lie to that family near the lift that I'm your boyfriend...then trap me inside the lift... Then get inside my car without my consent and now hide under my cot when I'm changing...Did you think I didn't know anything? ' asks Sid with a smirk. Roli is like she got hit on her head now. How did he all these, she thinks. But now as he knows, all she wants now is to just get invisible; to run away from his sight hiding her silly face. God, if you have death in store for me, then just make it happen now before I look stupider before this jerk, thinks Roli. Sid walks around in her in typical boyish style as Roli keeps her head down. "I've seen lot of girls...But none are like you...Means...This much guts to even enter a not so familiar boy's bedroom, that too hiding from him...And all for what? An interview...' says Sid as he chuckles. "What you thought? I didn't see you entering my car today? i did see..And I very know who helped you with it...Yet, I kept silent as I wanted to know what you wish to do...And do you think you would have entered my flat without me knowing it? You have a brain but not wits...Or else you would have at least guessed that I being a special force officer would definitely catch you red handed...very bad...' says Sid. Roli feels like he's pulling her skin out of her. This is too much, she thinks. "Come on...speak up...' says Sid as he raises her chin with his fingers. This definitely enrages Roli. She just shoves his hand off her chin. "I didn't give you permission to touch me okay...'she barks at him. "Acchaa...She entered my room without my permission and even enjoyed me stripping.And now she says don't touch...what a confidence...' mocks Sid. "i didn't enjoy okay...I kept my eyes closed...So don't blame me for that...' justifies Roli. "Acchha...then who was drooling at me a while ago?' ask Sid leaving Roli open mouthed. He found that too, has he got eagle's eyes, she thinks. "but I love your confidence by the way...' says Sid as he nudges her nose inching closer to her. Roli finds something weird with this and again pushes off his hand. "I said don't touch!!!' she scolds. "what will you do if I touch?' asks him circling his arm around her waist shocking her to the core. "Siddhant...take your hands off me...' orders her. "no way!!!' says Sid as he pulls her even closer, making her bump with her bare chest. Her hands rest on his broad shoulders. Though she tries to protest, Roli couldn't ignore that she is really really going weak in his arms. His bare skin in contact with hers, his manly fragrance, his piercing eyes, all get her locked to him. "First encounter...On the very first encounter that day, I decided that you will end up as mine...And see, how cutely you yourself came to me making silly plans?' asks Sid tucking strand of her hair behind her left ear caressing it that way. Roli closes her eyes on the closeness and touch but quickly pushes him off in realization"What do you mean?' she asks as she stands at a safe distance from him. Sid cuts the distance by moving closer to her and again holds her ignoring her tiny protests. "I mean that...I want you to be my girl...Will you?' asks him hoarsely looking to her eyes. Roli almost gets lost in those expressive eyes. To be very honest, she has started liking him from the very beginning; from then when he met for the first time. Yes, he did irritate her, but in a pleasant way though. May be because of that she turned things upside down for that silly interview with him though it wasn't that important. But is it what he thinks? Is it love? She isn't sure. She just frees herself from his hold, picks up her bag from the floor and walks to the door. "Roli...' calls Sid seeing her leaving. "I need time...' that's all what she mutters. He smiles and nods, making her heart skip a beat. She walks out opening the door not sure of her feelings.
