Too good love the ending .. .. all I wanted little discription on gajra , humid sticky but having paithani and narayan pethi .. with Ettar ka fan and cooler going on .. thank fully it's not in Pune otherwise I would have mentioned about "last call for pangat (food) "

simply love it. Just amazing. The whole story is so funfilled.

Khushi is right - when you can't beat them, manipulate them. Very nice. All situations cannot be won by fighting, in some case you have to apply a different strategy. Simply love it.

I didn't know it will end so soon...😕
Anyway it was a hilarious story with couples being at their wits end to have some privacy. I liked how you handled the space crunch issues which many joint families may have faced and still be facing.
Lavanya solved one problem of Khushi and Payal on her own by getting married out of blue.😆
Poor Aarav though, couldn't get any pup of Lux, all credit to his mother.😆

I'm 3 updates late to comment. But i'm believe in better late than never and so here I'm.

Khushi rocked all three updates I missed. From being content and hapoy with her consummation that she didn't mind NK's entey in there over flowing house and ao she was up-lauded by her MIL. And than her happiness was increased by desuction of a house menber taking away the additional too. All this summation and subtraction you did in this Ranade house with khushi making deals or providing "good" advice for Ranade future worked out pretty well in the end for her and Arnav.

Now with Akash and Payal pregnant again and Aman and sheetal out of house the privacy wilk be more of the older and the younger Ranade couple 😛 .

Your take on the Joint family houses in India with ever reducing space per person was genuine and laughable like we do to our memories survived by these very incidents. For example, i'm married to third of the four sons, all lived in a house of three bedrooms, two baths and in-laws. We are in Aman and Sheetal's shoes right now 😎

Hope to read more of your stories in near future Chaitalee.

Chapter 8:

The chapter was supposed to be sad and so tear-inducing but I couldn't stop laughing at all. What theatrics the Ranade family is capable of! I am sure they will win the maximum awards if they were to contest in the upcoming Star Parivar awards.

Lavanya getting married wasn't as surprising as Dhruv'' typical character sketch. Infact NK's dramatic show of crocodile tears was equally hilarious, for he wouldn't have been able to maintain a high maintenance Lavanya anyway. And come Anjali's entry, I couldn't stop roflmaoning.

But I am sure Arnav-Khushi are getting sharp. They do know how to 'it the iron when it is still hot'. 😃

Chapter 9:

Khushi is a genius and I am her devotee. She manipulated everyone in such a wonderful way and it was about time that someone was dispatched out of their house. Sheetal and Aman, Lux and his puppies, then NK and now Lavanya - them moving out of the Ranade family has definitely modified the proverb to 'The lesser, the merrier".

Not just that, Khushi has learnt to outsmart Bubbli too. Well done my girl, you have earned all my respect.

Lavanya'' wedding can never be over without the theatrics so NK's elder brother's presence and the chariot were not a surprise. But anyway, they do not matter anymore.

I hope Payal gets what she wants. Poor girl! She's not as smart as Khushi you see.

Houseful is a beautiful concept and they way you blended the various incidents is absolutely perfect.

I hope to see you coming back with something hatke again. 😊
