As she bend down Lasya assumed she was going to kiss R&B so pushed II's mouth away as she sat on his lap saddling him
II bend down and kissed R&B on his cheek, a long lingering one
"There!! Do what u want" she mocked Lasya
Lasya looked horrified
She ranted a long line of gibberish,
"hE doesnt even shave, why do u want him so much?" II asked with a sullen face

The men talked about Chachu, Beeji and Pami talked about Sam's MIL and Chachi
He took his daughter and went up well before the other kids were sent home
When she returned around midnight on the muggy June night, all lights were on on every floor
She was furious Ranjan was not in bed, until she discovered all adults were in bed
NIVI, NITIN, SHRAVU AND R&B were having a pillow fight on the 2nd floor sun room rug

Nivi lay face down on her Dad's chest and yawned... exhausted
"Umm... u go to Sheikh Sarai this year u can go to London next year" II offered
"Nandu is going to Singapore next year... I cant play with him" he said
"What about the other kids? Umm... " II forgot the names of the Iyer boys
"Well TWO are going to London and ONE to Singapore" he shouted
"Seri... lets not argue Raja get up... or if u want to sleep here then you and Nitin can sleep on the sun bed? Or Nitin will fall off so sleep on the floor I will bring a mattress"
R&B got up lifting a sleeping Nivi and took her to bed
"I have the air matress in the ground floor, want me to bring it up?" he offered
She nodded smiling with gratitude
"Thanks... do u know if Nitin wears pull ups at night?" she asked him
"I dont" he chuckled
