My daughter and her friends witnessed an ugly spat today in school between a couple of muslims saying to the pure white American saying ' you've got to be us to understand our fear and pain to be bracketed like this ' and that escalated uncomfortably looks like with the the local girl saying something bk to them

My daughter's observation was very telling...she said I've never seen the American girl spk like this before as she did today. It felt like she felt empowered to talk in favor of the president elect while she wasn't that vocal until the results.

This is just the beginning. The damage has been done. Some of us are going to be dealing with people who are suddenly feeling empowered now to be more vocal than they were before and some of the daily dealings with them could become a pain in random places
