ASHVIK FF: LIGHTS, CAMERA, "I DO"
CHAPTER ONE: THE WEDDING
Radiant rays of sunlight shone brightly through enormous, elaborately crafted windows and into a spacious room. An abundance of delicate brilliantly red rose petals gracefully adorned a silver laced, finely trimmed, velvety carpet of the same colour. The carpet lead to a monumental altar bejewelled with majestic grandeur. Extravagant bouquets of exquisitely assorted flowers (which were lavishly embellished in a glistening coat of gold) encircled the altar. Likewise, decorative crystal fountains sat at every corner of the sacred site. A priest sat stringently inside the altar as he awaited the arrival of the auspicious time. As the fountains jetted water vehemently, the fragrance of flowers intoxicated the entire room with a heavenly tranquilizing aroma. Overlooking the altar was the centrepiece, a massive ornate, glass chandelier graced with infinite alluringly luminescent lights which twinkled merrily and illuminated every corner of the bedecked room. Composed of the finest quality mirror glass, the chandelier would reflect the holy matrimony which was soon to take place right beneath it. This arrangement was no less than a fantastical fairy-tale and yet it was a mere ornament to the real attractions, the two souls whose name was synonymous with each other's and this life-changing event.
The distinct reverberation of increasingly heavy footsteps originated from the spectacularly decorated entrance and the enthralled guests darted their wide eyes towards the entrance with bated breath. And with a solemn yet flamboyant stride and his enticed grooms people, entered the breathtakingly handsome groom, Rithvik Dhanjani clad in a ravishing cream sherwani which was splendidly embroidered with ornately crafted tinsel sequins and ornamented with a shy smile. As the grooms- people settled themselves around the altar, he innately glued his eyes on the entrance in anticipation of his bride to be.
Harmonious orchestral music began playing and filled the hearts of the onlookers with adrenaline as they raised from their seats in unison. Ms. Asha Negi, the most beautiful bride had made her astounding entrance with grace, elegance and her gleeful brides-people in tow. She was dazzlingly bedecked in a custom tailored, stunning red lahenga which was appliqud with, hand-embroidered mother of pearl sequins and was laced with intricate emerald embellishments at a low bodice. Her angelic appearance had been accessorized by glittering, finely detailed, artisanal diamond jewellery and a plastered smile. Needless to say that our wonderful groom was spellbound and immediately captivated by her enchanting beauty it as he tried to capture every last detail about her. The bride gingerly sat beside her man and the priest promptly announced that the auspicious time had arrived; the wedding rituals would now officially begin.
First, the Panigrahana was to be performed, during which, in the presence of the fire-deity and the priests instructions, the groom takes the bride's hand in his as a sign of their union. As their fingers got tightly laced together, electrifying jolts raced each other through both Rithvik and Asha's bodies. Rithvik noticed his name boldly written on Asha's hands while their hands were firmly locked together and his lips instantly curled up into a delighted grin. Following the Panigrahana came the most important ritual- Saptapadi which is also known as the seven step ritual, where every step corresponds to a vow the bride and groom make to one another in front of the sacred fire. Lastly, after the conclusion of their seven holy vows of eternal companionship, the bride and groom had the ends of their wedding attire tied by Asha's aunt and they stood up to complete their marriage by performing Agnipradakshinam. Asha and Rithvik stood up in unison and began walking their seven rounds around the fire-deity which was signified as the divine witness of their glorious matrimony while the priest fervently chanted Sanskrit mantras. The first four rounds were to be lead by the groom and the bride was to lead the groom in the final three rounds. Asha's palms became increasingly populous with sweat and she heavingly sighed while Rithvik's heart pulsated freakishly with each passing step. Asha averted her prying eyes towards her man while switching positions during the Agnipradakshinam and she immediately noticed the same apprehension, elation and immense admiration in his eyes which she felt in her own heart, as if it was a mirror reflection of her own genuine emotions. And in that exact moment she realized she was no longer alone in this tumultuous journey of life and her heart overpoured with gratification that she would now be accompanied by a magnanimous soul who would empathize with her, support her and most importantly, love her like no one else would in their pursuit of happiness. Alas, the seven rounds had been completed and Rithvik and Asha were made one in the most precious and sacred union in the eyes of the almighty. Asha was now Mrs. Asha Rithvik Dhanjani, and Rithvik now wore a ring in Asha's name on his finger. But marriage held far more meaningful significance in their lives than just the exchange of rings and the sharing of a household and legal last name, marriage meant that they would now savour each other's love and happiness as their lifeline, priority and companion in all seasons of life. A tremulous smile inhabited Rithvik's face as he turned towards his newly wedded wife and he intertwined their fingers together with one hand while delicately caressing Asha's cheeks with the other. He finally closed the proximity between them as he sealed their matrimony with a gentle yet passionate kiss.

I am extremely delighted to announce the start of my new fanfiction based on none other than the one and only Ashvik aka Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi. This is an entirely fiction narrative which includes the involvement of certain real life people and events who were closely affiliated with Ashvik. However, I, the author of this FF, in no way intend to document Ashvik's real life love story and nor do i wish to modify/re-create it as it has already been perfectly presented by the legends themselves. My sole objective for writing and posting this FanFiction is to entertain my fellow Ashvikians and bring joy and happiness to them through my mediocre creative abilities and our shared love for our idols-Ashvik. I hope this FF will be able to meet your expectations and brighten up your day with some Ashvikness!
