Archie & Piyush meet next day. Archie asks Piyush, "You told me that you want a sweet & simple girl as your wife. I wonder what did you see in me."
Piyush: When I saw you with full of attitude & your madness to marry Sujal, I hated that attitude but not you. I accepted you as you have changed your attitude & realized that everything cannot be achieved as desired. I also saw the helping nature in you which made me to consider you. I'm not that heartless. Just as Sujal is my childhood friend, you are also my friend.
Archie: I know that you are not heartless but you've got a good heart. I should consider myself lucky.
Piyush: Thanks.
Piyush then takes Archie to his place & informs the family about going ahead with her.
Meanwhile, Piyush's real mother, Ritika & twin brother Abhishek come to see Vasundara at R & G house.
Vasundara, on the other hand is shocked to see Ritika coming suddenly & tries to avoid her which does not go unnoticed by Ritika. She thinks, "Vasu's behaviour is so weird. When she met with an accident & was in distress, I stood for her. I gave one of my child to her to take her out of depression & today she is full of attitude. I will teach her a lesson which she will not forget in her lifetime. I will definitely show her the right place.
Vasundara on the other hand thinks, "For what Ritika has come now? She has come to insist what a big favour she did for me. She wants to prove how great she is by giving her child to me & wants to take him away from me. I will never allow that."
Vasundara is happy that Piyush chose Archie but not happy with Varun's choice. She disliked Kashish & Mouli too. However, she could not say much as Chetan & Veena had agreed to their relationship.
Vasundara goes to Veena & boasts about Archie.
Veena: I don't find anything wrong with Kashish, Mehek & Mouli. My happiness lies in the happiness of my children.
Vasundara: Of course. If it was left to me, I would have not approved Mehek but Lalit does not listen to me. I have lost importance in this house since we started staying here together.
Veena: It is nothing like that. You need to understand that children have become big and can decide for themselves. Times have changed and we have to change according to that.
Vasundara gets irked.
Sujal and Kashish enter the house.
Vasundara: Aa gayi maharani. Yeh kashish ne toh apni jaadu ki chadi se tumhara Sujal ko apni jaal main phasaya hain. Sujal has got into the trap of this witch.
Sujal gets irked at this statement. Lalit comes in and shouts, "Shut up Vasundara."
Vasundara: Oh Lalit, I forgot that everyone takes their own decision here.
Lalit: What is your problem if Sujal marries Kashish. He has been loving her from his childhood.
Vasundara: Yes and that is the sad thing. Poor Sujal. He will regret.
Sujal: I've never regretted about my decisions nor anytime in my life. Moreover, nobody in this world is perfect. I will face whatever comes. You don't have to worry about me.
Vasundara: Oh yes! Who am I to tell you? I am only a third person. But Mehek has trapped my son Varun. I'm sure. Kashish is her role model and has influenced her.
Lalit comes forward and slaps her.
Lalit: This slap is for badmouthing Kashish & her sisters. If you don't want to be a part of our happiness, you better leave this house.
Vasundara: I will leave but I want my share in the property.
Lalit: You won't get a single pie if you leave but if you want to be here, you have to behave accordingly. This is my first & last warning.
Lalit goes to his room.
Vasundara tells herself, "Lalit, do as you please. One day or the other you will realize how right I was. All of you will regret. I won't let anyone to be happy. If I don't close the door for Sinha sisters, my name is not Vasundara."
Sujal-Kashish, Rishi-Mouli, Varun-Mehek go with Chetan, Veena, Lalit & Vasundara for shopping to purchase the items required for the wedding.
After they return, Ritika declares that Piyush is her son & is Abhishek is his twin brother. Vasundara & all others are speechless. Piyush gets upset at Ritika & Vasundara for hiding the fact.
Everyone goes to the room. Lalit asks Vasundara, "Is it true what Ritika said?"
Vasundara: No she is lying.
Lalit: You are lying. If that was a lie then why didn't you deny it there? I can tolerate everything but not lies & deceit.
Vasundara tells him the truth. Lalit gives her 2 tight slaps & disowns her.
Lalit: Neither will I be with you nor will I tell you to go. You will be here only as Varun & Aman's mom but not as my wife.
He leaves.
Vasundara cries
