My Dear Roli

Part 1

Siddhant was sitting in the chair with his family members in that village house...

Elders were talking about family details mutually...

Siddhant was restless...

Why not... he has come all the way from Delhi to see the girl in that village...

He not even got any chance to see the photo...

Only his Mataji told she is from Village and from good family...

Without even seeing her they decided to proceed with the alliance after knowing about the girl & her family through their family well wisher...

Now they have come all the way to see the girl and finalise the alliance...

Siddhant was wondering.. how long they will talk about family details...

Why dont they think of bringing the girl in front of him...

He looked around...

His eyes were searching for any trace of the girl in and around...

But no... no trace of her anywhere...

Finally he saw fingers... beautiful fingers holding the rod of the window of a room in the upstairs...

When he lift his face more... He can see someone standing there though not very clear to see...

When the person realised him looking upstairs.. the person moved inside...

Siddhant expected that person to be the girl...

After seeing some trace of her.. the eagerness inside him increased...

With more difficulty he control his impatience towards her...

After some more time... the much awaited moment came...

Yes her mother went to the room in the upstairs to look for her...

She came back with her while she was almost hiding behind her mother...

Only he can see her saree and partly her hand...

She told 'Namasthe' hiding behind her mother...

Siddhant was thinking... 'OMG... even after she came down... i cant even see her face...'

Jamanlal the father of the girl turned towards his wife...

Jamanlal: Bring something to drink...

The girl with her mother turned and started moving towards the kitchen...

Siddhant was wondering.. why she is going now... he told her mother to bring...

But still he had hope that she will come back with something to drink...

No.. he was wrong... only her mother was bringing the coffee cups...

Girl seems to hide inside the kitchen itself...

Siddhant decided no use of staying silent anymore...

Siddhant lean towards his Mataji...

Siddhant: Mataji... i wish to talk few words with girl...

Mataji: Siddhant.. this is village... all these not allowed here...

Jamanlal: What happened Mataji... anything required...

Mataji: Actually being from city.. he thought of talking to the girl.. i was telling him its not allowed in villages...

Jamanlal: Its ok.. anyway we are finalising their alliance.. what is there to worry.. let them talk...

Siddhant got excited...

Jamanlal turned towards his wife...

Jamanlal: Meena... take Roli to upstairs.. let them talk...

Meena went inside and took Roli to upstairs...

Jamanlal: Siddhant beta.. you can go behind to talk...

Siddhant with a broad smile went to the terrace...

Part 2

Siddhant entered into the terrace...

He looked around for her...

He found her standing below the watertank which was hold by pillars...

She was holding the pillar... may be for moral support and was turned against him...

Siddhant with a smile went near her...

When he tried to go to her front...

As he near... Roli took steps further and hide herself behind the pillar...

Siddhant understood she is feeling shy being village girl...

Siddhant: Hi...

Roli replied in husky voice...

Roli: Hi...

Siddhant was thinking.. her voice is so sweet...

But how to see her... when she is hiding more from him...

Siddhant took steps forward circling the pillar...

Siddhant; Are you interested to marry me...

Roli took backward steps circling the pillar...

Roli: hmm...

Siddhant knows she is not yet ready to face him...

She is only trying to hide her more...

But Siddhant is not someone who will give up...

He think for a while...

Siddhant; you like me...

He took forward step while Roli took backward step...

Siddhant suddenly turned and went reverse direction which was not expected by Roli...

Roli dash on his chest as she was seeing for him the other side...

Roli was shocked on suddenly dashing on him and lift her face...

Siddhant saw her face & was astonished by her beauty...

Siddhant smiled while Roli blushed unable to bear seeing him...

She swiftly moved away and looked down...

Siddhant still tried to look at her face while she bow down further to the floor...

Siddhant smiled...

Siddhant; Roli... are you searching for something...

Roli: no...

She was wondering what he is asking...

Siddhant: Then what are you seeing on the floor...

Roli swiftly lift her face to look at his mischievous smile and blushed...

She tried to hide again on other side of pillar...

Siddhant with a smile moved towards her side...

Roli didn't moved as her heart beat was increased and knees went weak to take further steps...

He stood in front of her...

Roli down her face more...

Siddhant; Roli...

She tried to move in the right while he kept his hand on right side in the pillar and blocked her...

She tried to move the other side while he blocked with other hand...

Now she is caught between his hand...

Roli lift her face & looked at him...

By now he is close to her and was admiring her face...

She was restless...

Siddhant: Roli... you are looking beautiful...

Roli smiled...

Siddhant; Dont you tell how i am looking...

Roli: Not ugly as you said...

Siddhant: Then...

Roli: you are... (blushed) handsome...

Roli didn't wait further...

Roli bend down and escape from his hold coming out below his arms...

Roli rushed out from there...

Siddhant smiled...

Siddhant came down and saw Roli standing behind her mother...

He smiled and sat back in the chair...

Rajender looked at his son...

Rajender: Siddhant... happy now...

Siddhant looked at Roli who was looking at him hiding herself and her beautiful eyes were seen behind her mother back...

Siddhant nod his head as acceptance...

Mataji: Lets do the engagement now between us and marriage will be on next auspicious day.. which i will confirm checking with pandit...

Jamanlal: Sure Maaji... but we wish the marriage happen in this village as it will be easy for me to arrange...

Mataji: Its you wish.. anyway we will arrange reception after going to Delhi...

All agreed...

Siddhant eyes were towards her seeking chances for looking at her...

Mataji took out the ring which she bring for them...

Mataji looked at Meena...

Meena bring Roli towards Siddhant...

Siddhant finally got chance again to look at her while Roli blushed...

Roli was made to stand beside him...

Mataji gave the ring to Siddhant...

Siddhant bend down to his knees and looked at Roli...

Siddhant; Roli... will you marry me...

Roli with a blush forward her hand towards him...

Siddhant slide the ring on her finger and kissed on her knuckle...

Roli parents being villagers felt these new and looked at each other...

Roli was standing speechless...

Siddhant got up and stood beside her again...

Mataji gave the ring to Roli now...

Roli forward her hand while her hands started shivering...

Siddhant with a smile forward his hand...

Roli slide the finger with her shivering hand and took her hand swiftly...

Elders started talking mutually again...

Being engaged... Roli & Siddhant were made to sit beside each other...

Siddhant looked around and found all busy...

He slowly forward his hand and touch her hand...

Roli down her face more and blushed...

He intertwin their hand & looked at Roli...

He wanted to do much more while the situation being in the middle of all elders...

Roli though was feeling shy was not interested to take her hand from his hold and upset him...

Siddhant started talking in murmering voice with her...

Siddhant; Roli... We will be starting from here.. before that i wish to talk to you again..

Roli was wondering what to reply him...

Roli (in husky voice): but how??? what can i do???

Siddhant: you need to do something... i dont know how...

Roli was blinking her eyes without knowing what she can do for that...

After few minutes...

When elders finished talking between them...

Siddhant took his hand from her releasing his hold from her hand...

Mataji: Shall we move...

Siddhant nod his head as acceptance and looked at Roli...

Roli was still thinking what she can do...

They got up and was about to start...

Siddhant took couple of steps too...

Then turned towards Roli...

Siddhant: Roli...

All looked at him wondering why he is calling her now...

Siddhant: Can i have some water???

Roli swiftly rushed inside to bring some water...

Siddhant knows few seconds left from them to use this opportunity...

Siddhant: let me go and take.. i am feeling so thirsty...

Siddhant went towards kitchen...

Meena: Shall i bring...

When she tried to move...

Jamanlal: Meena... you be here...

All elders knows why Siddhant got sudden thirst...

Still they were not interested to disturb the youngsters... that too after their engagement...

Roli was taking water in the glass while Siddhant went behind her...

He swiftly wrapped his hand around her from behind and backhug her...

Roli got shocked on his sudden touch...

Siddhant: Roli.. its me... dont shout...

Roli now got more tensed and was wondering what to react...

Siddhant: Roli we are leaving now... i need to wait till our marriage...

Roli was feeling awkward of being inside his hug...

She was not getting any words...

She took his hand from her and moved away...

Siddhant hold her hand and pulled her towards him...

Roli fell on his chest by his sudden pull...

He swiftly wrapped his hand around her & pulled her more closer...

Siddhant: Roli.. i kissed you when putting ring... but didn't got from you...

Roli; no.. i cant... please leave me..

Her voice came feeble...

Siddhant: Ok.. i know you wont give.. but allow me...

Siddhant moved towards her cheeks and kissed on her cheeks...

Roli swiftly pushed him & moved away with a blush...

Siddhant: This is enough for now.. but wont leave you after our marriage..

Roli turned against him and blushed...

Siddhant went near her again...

Siddhant: Shall i go...

Roli slightly turned her face towards him and looked at him...

Siddhant: Its going to be difficult for me to be away from you till our marriage... while you are running away in this small chance we got...

He showed upset face... Roli was unable to see him upset...

Roli turned towards him...

Roli: Please give me some time... this is all new to me... so finding difficult...

Siddhant: Roli.. you are talking as if i am used to meet girls daily and do all these... for me also its only you the only girl in my life... i am also very much new... but dont feel like you are new for me...

Roli smiled...

They heard elders calling them...

Mataji: Siddhant... we are getting late...

Siddhant: Bye Roli...

Roli nod her head as acceptance...

Siddhant swiftly moved towards her other cheeks and kissed...

He swiftly rushed towards hall while Roli went behind with a blush...

Siddhant waved bye to Roli with his eyes while Roli too waved bye with her eyes...

Siddhant started his journey from the village towards Delhi...
