Shruti I'm completely mesmerized with the story like I said these two characters have grown out on me without being complete steamy just neel's way of saying aap in everything is enough for me or he uses aap for his son too, today I came across a baby's pic in South Indian costume and it got along all those memories. With exams going on I'm just happy she keeps on writing coz whatever she writes is my safe place. And one visit to that thread and memories flood in.

Couldn't agree more! . Word to word agree. That sure was funny than the recent Drumpfisms.
And to give you an idea of how firmly entrenched I am, imagine this folks, Nisha is digging a borewell , inserting 6 inch pipes 110 feet depth to draw good water, then I am that pebble sitting deeply entrenched at 110 feet inside the earth 😆 .

Nisha BTW, this is too much hanging upside down waiting for that dinner . Dinner is getting cold. Please have them seated on the table. 😳

Shruti, you have put this so well. I have been wanting to say something like this but never could word it so well hence didn't tell anything at all.

Nisha, you truly are remarkable.

No update...not able to sleep...hence reading old updates and on TV old retro songs are playing...time pass ho raha hai. Black and white films and the melodious songs...after a very very long time I am listening to songs😊

Is waale thread mein "ITTA SA" bhi nahi huya naaa...😭

Cutting Deals

She dressed with care, wearing a lemon yellow cotton saree and a green sleeveless blouse, pairing it with chunky silver hoops

She checked her kohl three times wiping off the edge of her eye

Tai pretended like she wanted to use THAT bathroom (the one inside the bedroom) and repeatedly sighed and moaned standing on the doorway

Aadhya wore cut off denim shorts and a pink halter neck blouse

The door bell rang sharp at 7:30

She didnt know if she should


She stood by the mirror taking deep breaths

Aadhya opened the front door and squealed in delight

Nihar stood in front of her smiling shyly

She held his hands and jumped up and down

"AAI NIHAAAR"
"AAAI NIHAAAR"

She kept squealing

Suvi walked out

And Nihar handed her a box of chocolates

"For you" he said

She felt a surge of emotion, when she looked at the boy, wondered how he must feel to hand a box of candy for Mother's Day to a year old's Mom

He looked at her longingly


"Can I hug you?" she asked

He nodded without a smile

She walked up and hugged him tight

"U and I both have something in common" she said

"We both dont have Moms" she said

He lifted his head up and looked at her... knowingly? Sadly?

"Aaaj se ek deal karte hai apan, when ever we want to talk about our Mom we will call each other?" she offered

His face lit up at the mere thought of having someone to recollect memories with

"Everyday?" he askd

She nodded

"Purse laayegi main?" she told him
Went into her bathroom and shed a tear for the brave 10 year old

She wondered how she would have handled losing Aai when she was 10

There was a flurry of activity in the living rom when she went back


Neel Pandit lounged against her sofa... on his phone...

He turned to look and found himself staring


"saree nai penney ka tha na?" she asked nervously

"The opposite" he said let his eyes slide down the body like wine staining a wine goblet

"Nihar will stay in my house?" Aadhya asked

Neel picked her up


"If u keep him, then I will be lonely, Can I take you home?" he asked


"Aaai" Aadhya hid her face in her hands and giggled

"Ham akele kaise rahenge batayen?" he asked

She didnt understand such pure Hindi

Suvi translated for her

"My Aai will miss me" Aadhya responded cleverly, unwilling to go to NOIDA

He gently kissed her cheek

"where to?" he asked

"I dont know... main sirf ek jagah khayi hoon NOIDA mein" she said

"Chaliye Dilli le chalte hain aapko" he said

Tai all the while staring dumb founded on the sofa


He held the door open for her and drove quietly
The kids chattered in the back


"Thanks Neel, mera ye first hoyega haan? Mother's Day ko bahar jaane ka" she said looking at him joyously

"Thats great" he said somberly

"Jaab Aadhya born hui tab Aai ka death ho gaya... Aai cant wish me... I cant wish Aai" she said looking out her window
"I am sorry" he said softly

"Aapka second year hoyega aaj?" she asked almost in a whisper

He nodded... and turned to connect gaze with her

"We did everything we would do for her every year" Neel said

She wanted to ask "Was this part of Nupur's Mother's Day too?"

Awww

I loved the fact that everyone left Tai!!!
What will be going through her mind when four of them left her without saying a word!!!🤣
(I don't want to hear her thoughts though,as her mere presence is enough to say "stop please!!!")
