She immediately moved out of there and stopped in front of a pillar, away from everyone to calm herself down. The history was repeating itself and she wouldn't let it affect her, decided Khushi. But was it as easy as she thought?
The Haldi ceremony was a quiet affair as not really any teasing took place as the people who indulged in teasing others were not in the right mood and the mahurat was given at a very late time so they had to wind it up faster. After applying the Shagun's Haldi, Khushi, Lavanya and NK took Amrita's permission to leave for their respective homes, after wishing everyone good night.
THE WEDDING,
While helping Devika with her make-up, the memories of Devika and Yudhishtir's marriage in Dwapar Yug struck her hard. One part of her said that her husband deserved someone's whole love but the part of her objected by saying that it is injustice to Devika as she would be devoid of her husband's love once in every five years.
"Maybe the destiny was predecided. That we would face every kind of injustice so that we could be born again," thought Khushi. She was pulled out of her trance when one of Arnav's cousin came to call Devika to the Mantap as priest announced it was the time for the arrival of the bride. Lavanya began her teasing towards already nervous Devika when Khushi stopped her by saying that it is not the right time and the already nervous Devika would turn more uncomfortable and Lavanya immediately obliged.
On the other hand, Arnav, who was with Anant in the Mantap, had the memories of the pale face of his beloved Yagyaseni during the marriage of Devika and Yudhishtir where he blamed himself for causing so much of distress to her but he never completely understood that his Yagyaseni never rejected even the pain in his love.
His trance was broken when he noticed his love's presence in the mantap. Bedecked in pearls and clad in turquoise blue, Khushi was looking breathtakingly gorgeous. He was completely lost in the surreal beauty in front of him when he was called upon by the priest to get the Kanyadaan items which were missing. Arnav wondered helplessly, "Who is doing the Kanya daan for Devika Bhabhi?"
But his question was answered when he saw his Madhav preparing himself for it. Arnav smiled at his best friend who was fulfilling the role of a brother and even that of the universal father.
Arnav who could see through it was feeling utterly helpless in the situation as being the eternal couple of Shiv-Shakti they never took any vows but as the forbidden lovers of Arjun-Draupadi, seven vows of marriage were not enough for the situation. On the other hand, Devika and Anant were enjoying their wedding thoroughly but suddenly during the last Phera they could see flashes of some extravagant wedding where the bride and the groom were looking similar to them but before they could think and analyze those flashes of theirs the priest asked them to proceed as the mahurat is passing away.
They completed the Pheras and took blessings of everyone present there and they soon completed the Grah Pravesh ritua.Now it was Khushi and Arnav's turn to tease them for the future rituals.

She wanted him to be happy, and it didn't matter if it was with Lavanya. His happiness was what which was necessary for her.

Arnav too was looking at the sky which had witnessing the re-unison of their souls every time they got separated and how their love had soothed each and every pain they had endured. He recollected their togetherness as in their journey of love they were never alone. Once again these celestial bodies will witness the unison of their souls and he would make it happen, thought Arnav.

Next Day At College,
Lavanya had messaged Arnav that she had something important to convey to him and hence wanted to meet him. Arnav arrived at the canteen without any delay as he knew Lavanya was not the one who was an impatient soul and there was surely something serious. Deep in his mind, Arnav was thinking of Khushi who had isolated herself from the world to endure the pain alone.
" Arnav, Did you notice that Khushi is upset? Do you know the reason for it?" Lavanya's question made concern grip his heart tight as he wondered if his love was alright.
" No, Lav. I don't know the reason of this. I have tried thinking about it but nothing struck me." The helplessness in Arnav's voice pricked tears in Lavanya's eyes.
" Arnav, Bhai told me that Amrita Bua has arranged for our engagement and Khushi came to know about it and that is reason of her anxiety." Her voice shivered as flashes from their intertwined past played in her mind.
" What!! How can they do this?" Arnav banged the table in a spurt of anger only to realize that he was talking to Lavanya, who was his wife in Dwapar Yug and had loved him unconditionally. His controlled his anger and in a softer voice asked her,
"Lavanya, you want this to happen?"
What would be her answer?
