Ch 46 : Her Fears
Next morning, the family was having their breakfast in dining area when a servant came there and informed the family about the sudden visit of Senior inspector.
"Inspector? But why?" She stuttered, fear rosed in her heart. She gripped his hand tightly, Rey who was sitting beside her, sensed her tension.
"Sh. Don't panic." Rey whispered soothingly, then all got up and went in living area where they found Sumit Shrivastav, senior inspector. Rey shook his hand with him, then asked the reason for his sudden visit.
"Mr. Singhania, Mr. Dev kumar has filed a complaint you, claiming you attempted to kill him and responsible for his current state-" Sumit told him in professional tone.
"And you believed him? Did you found any proof against my son? " Ranvijay questioned him.
"We didn't found anything that proves mr. singhania guilty. Even office staff and mr. kumar's manager denied the claim of mr. kumar which proves mr. kumar wrrong. " Sumit answered him, the whole office staff denied such thing when asked, and even he knew singhania's well. Singhania's are one of the most reputed families in the country. It was hard to believe Rey would do something like this, but as it was their duty, they did their part and investigated the whole matter.
"But mr. singhania has to come to the police station and sign on some papers, its just a formality." Sumit said to the singhania family, taani took a sigh of relief.
"I'll come to the police station, inspector. But be ready for another investigation, I had heard, Mr. Dev kumar have too many illegal businesses. I'm sure you wouldn't miss that-" Rey smirked at him as he spoke, then he turned to his wife.
"I'll meet you directly in office." Rey said to taani in soothing tone. Taani nodded absentmindedly, her thoughts were roaming around the whole matter. It scared her, to be honest.
She watched as Rey walked away with the inspector.
"Don't worry, taani beta. Your husband is not an ordinary man, nothing can harm him." Ranvijay said to taani, taani look at her father-in-law and gave a small nod in response.
"Come, I'll drop you office." Ranvijay said to her, taani nodded, she took her hand bag and left for office with ranvijay.

Taani was pacing up fro in his cabin, waiting for him to return, she was impatient. She just wanted him to come back to her. Her heart was ready to come out of her chest, she was nervous and fear had gripped her heart.
The door of the cabin opened, relief wash over her when she found him entering the cabin. She ran toward him and throw herself in his arms. Rey wrapped his arms around her and pulled her more into his arms. He knew what she must be going through.
"Are you alright?" He asked her softly, he walked over the couch with her in his arms and made her sit on the couch.
"I should be the one asking this-" Taani mumbled, she hugged him tightly as he sat beside her.
"Your husband is perfectly fine." He mumbled, he cupped her face in his palm and made her look at him.
"What if mr. kumar again cause problems for you?"
"He won't even dare. After he is out from hospital, he is going to land in jail. He will regret everything-" He told her, and that moment she didn't cared to correct him, she knew taking revenge is not a good thing but at that moment, her husband was in her arms, she couldn't bring herself to care about anything else.
