Hello. I am new here and am currently writing my first fan fiction. It is based on Samrat-Gunjan of Miley Jab Hum Tum. Till now, I have got 1000+ views but 10 reviews max for each update. I have already posted 3 chapters in addition to the prologue. How can I let people know about this FF, specially the ones who have moved on to the other shows over these 5-6 years. Plz tell me. Will be grateful if done so.

firstly, congratulation on your new ff. It'll take some time before you get plenty of replies so have patience. And as you are writing on samrat gunjan ie mjht forum please make sure that members are active to review it.

Yes, to advertise your fiction you can ask your friends to spread the word.

Finally, keep this in your mind do not expect more reviews for your first fiction and most importantly if you are new to the forum.

So, keep writing and one day you'll get your expected results. Happy writing.

Thanks for the advice. I think I should wait some more. But there is a problem. The forum is not much active. The old fans of the show, particularly of this couple, have moved on to other popular couples like ArShi. Infact many suggested me to change my characters to the more popular ones like Arnav and Khushi. But to my bad luck, I haven't even watched those shows, let alone understand those characters in order to modify my story.

I have posted the FF in the FF section instead of MJHT forum. Ideally, what I should do? Should I change my characters?

Your ff is posted in fan fiction forum? Then request moderators to shift your thread into the mjht forum. You will get more reviews when you post it in your forum other that the fiction forum.

And about changing characters into arshi, Do you have any guarantee that you will get more reviews when you change it. No, right. So, instead of changing the characters stick to your fandom which you are comfortable.

Feel free to ignore my suggestions if you feel offended.

Dear Shrushti, it might take some time for you to garner a good response on your stories because there are very less people who start new stories from new writers.

And although more readers are active in ipkknd forum, it does not give you the guarantee that you will get a good response. Every writer have to really work hard for that. You might get a better response probably but then you would be going hard on yourself by taking so much on your head and watching the show first to understand the characters. If you dont watch the show, you wont get the real essence of the characters which readers desperately want in fictions.

Mjht forum is not an active one but instead of FF forum, do get your thread transferred to mjht forum, you will get more reviews there when people see your ff in that respective forum.

Plus, dont go on the number of reviews you see against your fiction on IF. Half of them are your own views and IF team's and so on. Usually threads have views in thousands but get a few number of comments only!
