PART FIVE

DOES DREAMS EVER COME TRUE

Ram carrying Mathili in his arms reach the hospital Sanjeevani. Nurses there get a stretcher immediately. Ram gently puts Maithili on the Stretcher. Ram feels Maithili's grip on his hand even she is unconscious. Slowly the grip loosens as they move the stretcher into the emergency room. Ram really could not understand why is he so worried for her. She is just a stranger to him, he wonders why does he feel connected to her. Droplets of tears scroll down his cheeks. He wipes them out. Ram clearly remembers the day when his mom is admitted in the same hospital he felt the same way as is feeling now. Is she so close to me just like my mom??? He comes out of his ocean of thoughts when the doctor places his hand on his shoulder.

Doctor advises him to take care of her as she needs bed rest. Her leg is bruised badly bust she is strong and did not have any fracture. Ram nods his head. He pays the bill at bill counter. Maithili is being given IV (intra venous). Doctor tells him she will be discharged in two hours and there is nothing to worry. Ram is relieved.

Maithili's mobile is with Ram. Ram answers her phone. Her pinni is over phone she starts scolding her, where are you Maithili, it has been more than a hour since you left, how far did you go, you know i will be worried. Ram just listen to her. He understands telugu very much but cannot speak properly. Pinni commands over phone are you listening??? Ram replies she met with a accident and I brought her to the hospital. Pinni panics and ask him which hospital. He replies Sanjevani Hospital in their society. The phone goes dead. Within no time Pinni arrives at the hospital.

Ram waits for her. Maithili's aunt enquires at the reception and reach to room no 202. Ram greets her and handovers Maithili's phone to her. He assures her the accident was very minor and Maithili is safe. He explains her about what happened. Maithili's aunt thanks him. They both wait outside the room. After an hour Maithili comes into senses.

After a one and half hour journey in the ghat section all the friends reach Lonawala.

They get down from their respective cars at a view point. Urmi Manvi and Keerthi run towards the point. Urmi throws her car keys at Laksh. He simles at her childish behaviour. Bharat and Shatrugan ask him why he did not give a retart like always. He tell them its ok i dont want to spoil her mood right now she is very happy. Bharat and Shatrugan get confused. Shatrugan sees a icecream corner over there and goes to get a icecream for Keerthi. Bharat and Laksh go and park the cars. Bharat buy a bunch of balloons from a small child selling them. Bharat gives the bunch of balloons to Manvi and Shatrugan gives iceream to Keerthi. They are smitten by the boys gesture and accepts them with a smile.

Urmi walks towards Laksh standing afar. She stands beside Laksh and holds his hand. Now it seems like both are tired of fighting with each other for these many years. Something new started. Bharat Manvi Shatrugan and Keerthi are busy in clicking selfies. Laksh and Urmi are lost in each others eyes. They both sit on the big parapet wall admiring the beauty of the valley fog here and there. Urmi rests her head on Laksh's shoulder and Laksh wraps his hand around her reassuringly.

All others are shocked to see them that way. They slowly reach them and scare the hell out of them shouting in their ears. Urmi runs behind Manvi and Keerthi and Laksh behind Bharat and Shatrugan. Later all of them decide to go to the next place. They feel it would be nice if Ram too accompanied them.

They share their concerns about him. Everyone felt that ram is so disturbed with something. They feel sorry for making fun of him the previous day as they know Ram is so genuine and may be he is serious. They decide to meet him once they return Pune and say sorry to him. All of them leave the place.

Ram and Maithili's aunt enter the room. Maithili asks her aunt 'pinni how did you know about it.' Pinni goes close to her without uttering a single word gently kisses her forehead. Let us go home i will get the discharge papers ready and ask Ram to be there till she return. Maithili ask him 'how do you know my name when we never met.' Ram who is standing at the main door comes nearer to the bed. He first say sorry to her. He tells her that he met Tarak yesterday and Laksh who helped her is his best buddy. Maithili smiles she introduces herself to him as Maithili Chandrashekar forwarding her hand for a hand shake. Ram gives a formal handshake introduce himself as Raghu Ram Sharma. Maithili's aunt arrives with a wheel chair, Ram gives her his hand helps her to sit in the chair. They reach home by a auto rikshaw. Maithili's aunt thank him and invites him for a coffee. Maithili somehow manages to reach the lift. Ram can easily carry her but he felt awkward in her aunt's presence. Unfortunately due to lack of power lift does not work. Maithili struggles to climb the stairs. Mathili's aunt worries how will she take her to the second floor. Ram asks her he will help if she don't mind. Maithili's aunt agrees. Ram lifts Maithili in his arms and start climbing the stairs. Maithili avoids looking into his eyes but senses his intense gaze over her. Maithili's aunt climbs the stairs fastly so as to open the lock and ask him to bring her carefully. He nods.

Ram feels like a song playing in the background

After reaching her house he gently places her on sofa. Her long hair gets stuck in his shirt button, she looks into his eyes he quickly manages to remove it. Ram tells her aunt that he should leave. She insists on having a coffee he says he will join them some other day as his mother will be waiting for him. Maithili not even utter a single word. He leaves.

There at Lonawala after driving for 20 min they reach the next spot Kune waterfalls. The sight of waterfall is so beautiful from the top. They have to walk down the path to reach the foot of waterfall. Our fire brand Urmi runs down the path so as to reach the waterfall. She loves waterfalls. Others walk slowly

Keerthi starts collecting her favourite saplings. Manvi walks down holding Bharat's hand Laksh walks in front of all. He is pondering about what happened at the view point. Does he really hate Urmi or its something else??????

Urmi on reaching the waterfall is mesmerised with its magnanimity. She starts jumping. No one is there at the place except her. She is living the moment. She stands still looking up closing her eyes. The sound of waterfall is like a soothing music in her years. She starts singing in merry

She opens her eyes to find Laksh in front of her. She realises that she is dreaming and is not really singing the song. Laksh as usual comments that what is she doing closing her eyes instead of admiring the beauty of waterfall. She is relived that Laksh did not feel any thing and runs back without arguing. Laksh feels the change in her behaviour.

Next part: Few more beautiful spots and the road trip ends. Urmi avoids Laksh. After two days...

Laksh meets Urmi at her place and decides to propose her.

If possible i will give it by 11 pm
