Part 3

College queen Contest

Twinkle was the top scorers in all the rounds. Then came last round. Beauty queens have a lot more to do, than just look beautiful. A beauty pageant isn't about walking the ramp in the skimpiest of clothes, and sporting a million-dollar smile. It's about cracking the tough round of questions and answers with conviction. It was what the final round. The judges were to question the participants.

Ques.: Do you prefer a love marriage or an arranged marriage?

"I strongly believe in the institution of marriage. Marriages are made on Earth and not in heaven. So, whether love or arranged, a marriage is an equation solved by measuring compatibility for life." Twinkle answered in confidence.

Ques.: Who is your role model?

"My role model is me, because for me, every day is an endeavor to do the original source better than yesterday."

Everyone was happy for having a perfect friend like twinkle, but in some way, Kunj was also admiring her gesture. But, but, but, he can't forget the challenge. He has to do something.

Satisfied with Twinkle's answers, everybody was thinking she will be the winner this time also. But suddenly it was announced that the last round will be wrestling. All the people were surprised because it was never a part of this contest. But the show must go on. Twinkle was all set to fight with her competitor, Payal and came on stage.

"Now, who keeps wresting in beauty contest?" kriya said confused.

"Me!" Kunj replied with a grin.

"Are you mad? Or going to be mad?", Siddhant asked hitting him on head.

"What?" kunj asked not getting anything?

"You don't know dear, but she is the strongest among all!" Swara said informing.

"Yeah, she can eat you raw!" Sanskaar told coming front.

"You can't get off it!" Sharon said nodding her head.

"No one can save you now my son..!" Swayam said joking.

"But I..." Kunj was half said when they saw Payal kicking twinkle and she falls down.

Everything was clear now. Payal cheated but rules are rules. Twinkle fell down so she lost the game. On one hand kunj was happy because he won the bet, but on the other, he had not wanted the way he won.

Next day Twinkle came to Kunj. Everyone was present there except Roli.

"My friends have taught me many things. They are my, everything. And they always say, we should fulfill our promise. Whether they be friend or foe. I know you had that wrestling competition and I could have won this competition very easily but with honestly, Not by cheating like her. Now tell me what to do as I have lost." She said without any guilt.

"I never had any personal animosity with you. I just wanted to break your pride, which is now broken in pieces. Believe me Twinkle, You deserve to become the College Queen. Now, you don't have to do anything." Kunj said with a smile.

"But Siddhant will do something." Shreya told.

Everyone looked at her and she winked. Shreya and Twinkle grins at Sid, showing teeth.

"Girls, No!" Sid said stepping back.

"Sid, Yes!" Both said coming forward.

"I will not do anything stupid like this!" he said moving his hand in air.

"You have to do this stupidity!" Rey said pointing him.

"Guys, it's not so easy!" Sid tried to escape.

"Not too difficult!" Swara said dragging him.

"At least try!" Sharon said joining.

"Come on Sid, Be a Man!" Kunj said keeping his hand on his shoulder.

"Shut up kunj!" Sid replied slamming Kunj's hand.

"Leave it Guys, he can't!" Shreya said.

"You are challenging me?" Sid asked coming near her.

"Yes!" she replied coming closer.

"Open Challenge!" Kriya said exciting him.

"Is it? I have never lost a bet!" he said confident.

"We also do not have the habit of losing." Sharon said more confident.

"Fine! I will do it, that's too in Siddhant Style!" he said folding his arms on his chest.

"That's like my boy! But for that, we need a plan!" Swayam said jumping on Sid's back.

"What Plan?"

Everyone turns and finds Roli standing. Swayam fell down and got up with a jerk. They all exchanges look.

"Guys, all ok?" she asks in confusion.

"Ah.. Yeah, All ok. And, weren't talking about any plan, you must have misheard." Swara said trying to sound normal.

"Don't lie Swara! I know very well what you were talking about." Said Roli.

All were shocked. She knows? Then how is she not overreacting?

"You were planning my birthday right?" Roli said smiling.

All were relieved.

"Yeah" "right" "yes!"

This was what escaped from everyone's mouth then. Twinkle held Roli from shoulder.

"You know what Girl? You are a genius!" She grinned.

Everyone chuckled but Roli was still confused.

Class was over and everyone came out. Swara was putting her books in her bag and Sanskaar was waiting near the bench. All of a Sudden Swara widened her eyes and jumped on Sanskaar. He didn't understand her reaction but feeling her shirt wet due to her tears, got worried.

"Swara what happened?" he asked keeping his bag aside.

"Sanskaar... Co... Cockroach!" Swara said closing her eyes in fear.

Sanskaar laughed on her childishness. He wrapped his arms around her waist when her arms were round his neck. They were resting their chin on each other's shoulder. Sanskaar kissed her neck in the hug. This made Swara shiver and her fear vanished away. She broke the hug keeping her hand on his chest. He was smiling.

"You just need an excuse" Swara said shortening her eyes.

"That is it. But you... So grown up, and get afraid with cockroaches?" he said laughing.

"Are you kidding me?" She said in anger.

"No, Swara... I didn't mean that.." he ran trying to escape and Swara ran after him.

"Swara no!!"

"You just wait Sanskaar!"

They reached the canteen. Their friends were sitting on a table.

"Swayam! Buddy Save me from your goon sister!" Sanskaar said running round the table. Swayam just smiled.

"You called me a goon? Bhai, this time you will not come in the middle. I will not spare you Sanskaar!" She ran after him.

Gang was happy seeing them happy. They took 2 more rounds and finally Swara caught sanskaar but suddenly she fainted. Sanskaar held her in arms. All got up went went near her.

"Swara...!" All got worried.

Sanskaar sat down holding her on lap. Swayam came and fed her some medicine.

"Guys, let the air pass." Swayam said making Swara to drink water.

All became distant. Roli started fanning her with her Scarf.

"What happened to her?" Kriya asked concerned.

"Nothing, she must have forgotten to take medicines. So little weakness only, don't worry!" Swayam replied trying to behave normal.

But sanskaar was just looking at Swara without blinking. Swayam kept his hand on his shoulder.

"Sankaar, relax! She is fine!" swayam said assuring him.

All were relieved when Swara opened her eyes. She found Swayam and Sanskaar sitting on both her sides. She at first looked at Swayam, and then smiled at Sanskaar. She got up.

But something was strange with Swayam, as noticed by Sharon. He was pretending to be normal but something was not fine. He was looking her sister lovingly when she was laughing and smiling with her friends. But he couldn't hide his tears from Sharon. She noticed him wiping them.

Kriyaansh were sitting in the park.

"Rey, had you ever thought, we would be this close someday?" asked Kriya as she put her head on his shoulder.

"What do you mean?" he asked confused.

"I mean, we always enjoyed our friendship, but when it turned into love, we never knew." She said played with his fingers.

"Kriya, being in love with your best friend isn't a new thing. All relationships begin in friendships and later grow into something more." He said holding her tight.

"Will we last forever?" she asked straight.

Rey looked at her. She was expressionless. He cupped her face.

"Look Kriya, You are my best friend, my shoulder to lean on, the one person I know I can count on, you're the love of my life, you're my one and only, you're my everything. When I first met you, I could never have imagined how far we'd have come. First we friends, then best friends, and here we are now as lovers. There will never be a day when I forget to count you as a blessing because baby I know there is no one else in the world that is as perfect for me as you." She could she love in his eyes.

Kriya smiled.

"So don't think anything like this again!" he said pushing her forehead with his four fingers.

They hug.

"Ok, so much of talk now." Kriya said standing up. "We have to reach Roli's place sharp 12 AM, it's her birthday remember?"

"Yeah! Let's go." They left hand in hand.

Swaron were in the rehearsal hall when Sharon questioned Swayam between the steps.

"What happened to Swara?"

"it nothing, leave it. She is fine." He answered trying to be normal.

"I saw you wiping your tears."

"Sharon..." he whispered hopeless.

"Swayam..." she exclaimed hopeful.

Swayam recalled how swara was running happily and fainted. In this affair he missed a step and Sharon fell down.

"Ahhh!!!"

"Shit! Sharon, i... I am really sorry Sharon i..." he was feeling guilty. He sat near her.

"Swayam, I am fine..." she said trying to hide pain.

"Come on, get up...!"

She tries but in vain.

" aaahhh!!!!!!!! Its paining, I can't walk..!" She screamed in pain.

"Sharon.. try..."

"I can't!"

"Get the chair!" he ordered the peons.

Swayam helped Sharon in sitting on chair. Both of them were worried.

"Swayam, I don't think I can dance..." Sharon said when a tear escaped her eyes.

He just only stared her.

"You should get a new partner." Sharon said her eyes down.

"Shut up Sharon, you are perfect for me!" he said aloud.

She looked up.

"I mean... as a partner... and trust me; I will not let you lose." He said with a smile.

Sharon smiled back.

Roli's house

Roli put alarm on her phone and went to bed. She covered herself with the sheet and closed her eyes.

11:55 PM

Roli's sleep was disturbed by a door knock. She went outside. Lights were off.

"Who's there?" she said aloud but got no response. She opened the main door but no one was there. She turned a found someone standing, without seeing the face, she screamed.

"Ahhh!!!!!!!"

Suddenly lights come on.

"Happy Birthday Roli!" she saw her friends in front.

Automatically, a smile comes on her face.

Everyone wishes her hugging.

"Where are Kunj and Twinkle?", She asked as they were missing.

"Ah! They are on the way with your gift.!" Swayam replied.

Suddenly they heard their voices.

"Why can't you do a work correctly?" twinkle asked irritated.

"Stop fighting and focus on the plan!" Kunj said disgusted.

"What plan?" Roli asked confused as she saw twiNj dragging a heavy box in.

Everyone glares and them and Twinkle and Kunj tries to control the situation.

"Your Birthday Plan!" Twinkle spoke up.

"Happy Birthday Roli!" they said in unison.

"Thank you guys," Roli replied smiling. "He didn't came with you?"

"He... Who?" Swara asked.

"Ah... Sid..." Roli fumbled.

"Oh Siddhant? No, he had some important work!" Roli's face paled as she got this reply from Kriya.

"Come on Roli, now open the gift." Sanskaar dragged her to the packed box brought by Twinj.

"Guys, don't you think, this gift could be little smaller?" roli asked unsure.

"Anything for you, baby!" Sharon patted her shoulder.

Roli opened the box and was shocked. As she unwrapped the box she found Siddhant with a beautiful ring.

"With this ring, I give you my heart, I promise from this day forward, you shall not walk alone, May my heart by your shelter, and my arms be your home." Sid said looking straight in her eyes. "Will you be my girlfriend Roli?"
