Chapter 8

He promised to take her out to show the city in evening, but it was past 8 at night and he wasn't home yet. She doesn't know where he went but she felt hurt that even after promising her, he left without telling.

"Shayad unhe koi kaam hoga isliye woh chale gaye ho bina bataye-" Taani thought to herself, she was lost in her own world when door clicked open.

"Good Evening, Taani." Her trance was broken when he pushed the door open and entered inside. He moved toward the bed and sat beside her on the bed. He noticed the look of sadness in her eyes the he remembered he promised her to take her out to show around in the evening.

"I had to leave to attend an important meeting in evening, We will go tomorrow-" Rey said to her, Taani lifted her gaze and her mesmerizing gaze met his intense one.

"Mujhe kahin nahi jaana." She mumbled in low tone. Rey sighed in frustration, but chose to remain quiet. He took his towel from closet and went inside the washroom to take shower.

"Huh! Meine mana kiya aur maan gaye. Ek baar mujhe mana nahi sakte the kya?" Taani thought to herself and huffed in annoyance. One side she wanted to go out but other side, she was hurt that even after he promise, he couldn't take out time for that.

Her reverie was broken when a servant knocked on the door, Taani straighten herself and went to open the door.It was servant who came there with their dinner. Taani gave way to enter inside, servant kept the food trolley near the bed and left from there. Taani went and sat on the bed, waiting for him to come out.

After some time, the washroom door clicked open and Rey stepped out of the washroom, bare chest, just a towel wrapped around his waist. Water was dripping off his hair & body. Taani cleared her throat and looked away from him, making him chuckle at her reaction.

"Taani, come here." Rey said to her. Her brows knitted in confusion, but she obeyed his wish. She got up and walked toward him who was standing in front of mirror, drying his hair with another dry towel. Rey made her stand in front of mirror, Taani watched him with confusion as he walked toward closet then come back with a box in his hands.

"Yeh kya hai?" Taani asked him, confusingly, as he handed her the box, out of curiosity, she opened the box, a box filled with chocolates.

"I heard that girls like chocolates, so i brought them for you." Rey told her, Taani look at him then at the box in her hand with a wide grin plastered on her face. She picked one chocolate and ate it happily.

"Shukriya! Aap bahut ache hai." Taani smiled at him. Rey slide his arms around his waist and pulled her into him.

"I don't need your shukriya, I just want you." Rey mumbled while nuzzling his face in crook of her neck, her natural fragrance aroused him. Her breath hitched feeling his lips against her skin.

"Par mujhe bahut bhook lagi hai. Mujhe khana khana hai." Taani told him, pointing at the food trolley, Rey sighed but nodded in agreement, making her happy once again.
