CHAPTER 2

Recap: Taani and Rey in Almora and their first day of their honey moon, Arjun and Purvi survey proposal and taarey willing to participate. TaaRey meet Sharon.

Day 1

T: Rey! Uthiye! Its 8:30! We should meet Arjun and Purvi by 9. Get up!

Taani was patting rey to wake him up. He held her hand and pulled it under his chest as he was sleeping on his stomach.

T: Rey!!! I know you are awake! Get up! she became so close to his face.

A naughty thought crept her mind, after dwelling to do it or not, she reached his ear

T: You look so damn sexy

And he sprang up instantly on their bed and she started to laugh her heart out.

Rey gave a smirk and tried to catch her but she ran from him already, he chased her and finally caught her. Their breaths were fanning on each other's face and their faces were reflecting pure desire. He pulled her closer by her waist and her hands rested on his manly chest. Their eyes were locked intensely and then taani became conscious and looked away.

He broke the hug and went into shower taking his towel. She sat on the couch blushing about what happened a while ago.

Arjun, Purvi, Swayam and Sharon were waiting for them at the breakfast. Arjun called them to that table so that they all can discuss their task and have breakfast together.

A: So guys, Ready for your tasks?

Taani, Rey and Sharon nodded positively and Swayam pretended as if he dint listen to Arjun.

P: Mr. Swayam?

Sw: Do I have a choice?

All of them looked at him with wide eyes.

A: Chill dude! Don't worry! You are going to enjoy

He just rolled his eyes, Sharon was upset.

P: So Rey and Taani, you both are going to the banks of Koshi River and find some beautiful pebbles and get them stored in this jar and you should be back by lunch time.

TaaRey were puzzled.

A: I know what you both are thinking but this will help you both get through the next tasks

Rey went to the coffee filter while Purvi approached him and told him

P: Rey, tomorrow's task will be interviewing you both about each other, I hope you understood what exactly to do?

R: Okay!!

Arjun was explaining SwaRon's task

A: You are going to find lavender flowers near the koshi valley, please collect them and bring in this bag.

Sw: And you think I am going to do this?

Sh: No! I think Sharon is going to do this.

Swayam went to wash his hands and Arjun followed him.

A: So Mr. Swayam Shekhawat, I don't have any right to ask you anything about your personal life. But can I ask you one question?

Sw: Shoot

A: Whatever happened in your life, is Sharon responsible for it?

Sw: No

A: Then why is she getting punished?

Swayam was spell bound. He was asking this question to himself.

{A/N: ok, my imagination sucks. I don't know whether the tasks made sense or the planning but I couldn't come out with anything better.}

It was 11 AM and TaaRey sat on a huge rock with the glass jar beside them.

T: Rey, ho gaya na, hotel chale?

R: Task ho gaya but jo hona tha wo nahi hua

T: kya?

R: Tum mujhe kitna jaanti ho?

Taani was silent

R: So twenty questions?

T: Okay

{A/N: can't elaborate here as it will be coming up in further chapters.}

Here Sharon was plucking the flowers and putting them in the bag, Swayam was lost in his thoughts sitting on a nearby rock.

Sharon was done and came to Swayam,

Sh: ummm... Swayam? Chale?

Sw: nahi, we will stay for some time. Sit

Sh: okay

A sharp crisp slap went across her cheek

"With whose permission Sharon? Tumhe ye tak nahi pata kisi ko bolne se pehle you should take my opinion? Yahi sikhaya tumhare parents ne tumhe?"

"And why am I not surprised? I always knew things like this would happen, tumhe zara bhi manners nahi hai. Ek survey me dono ko involve hona padta hai and kisse puchke you gave my name dammit?"

"I am sorry! I will withdraw our names tomorrow." She said in tears.

"Tab toh poori beizzati ho jayegi. Why cant people leave me alone?" saying so he thrashed down what he got to his hand. That was her mobile charger.

He shut his eyes tightly with the memory, the strings in his heart strung painfully as his heartbeat. They sat for a complete one hour in silence.

By the time it was 12, Sharon asked him,

Sh: Swayam, lunch tak hotel me rehna hai. Chale?

Sw: Sharon, thanks.

Sh: kyu?

Sw: aise hi

And they left the place.

{A/N: thought of ending it here but it was short I elaborated it with some crap, please bear.}

By lunch time they handed over the bag and the jar to ArVi. They had their lunch in comfortable silence and Rey and Taani approached Swayam and Sharon after lunch.

R: Hey

Sw: hey

T: well do you have any plans after lunch?

Sw: no, why?

R: We were going to the deer park. We thought it would be nice if you both also come along.

Swayam looked at Sharon and saw a twinkling hope in her eyes. He dint want to go but he couldn't deny either.

Sw: okay.

R: cool then, we will meet you at 3.

Sw: yeah sure.

And he gave a smile.

Swayam smiled!

At the deer park

Both of them entered the park and started to take a stroll watching all the deer, the herd was having all sizes of deer and different species and colors of them.

Rey was holding Taani's hand and walking while, Sharon was busy shooting in her handy cam, Swayam slowly slipped his hand into hers.

Sharon was surprised

Sw: tarah tarah ke log rehte hai. Pakad ke chalo.

Sharon gave a warm smile

Meanwhile while walking they dint notice that TaaRey and Swaron drifted apart but thought they can meet at exit at once.

Taani and Rey were walking into the forest whereas SwaRon were in the grass area where there were few deer grazing everywhere.

With TaaRey

T: rey, I think hame wapas chana chahiye. Yaha dur dur tak kuch bhi nahi hai.

R: aur thoda dekhke chaltey hai.

Soon, they heard the sound of bushes nearby,

T: Rey, wapas chaltey hai na.

R: nahi chalke dekhte hai.

T: nahi please waha agar sher hai toh?

R: hahaha! Taani, sher rehta hai toh iss park me ek bhi deer zinda nahi rehta

T: rey please

R: shhh!

They went nearby the bush and just saw a doe (female deer) struggling.

T: main toh darr gayi thi!

R: shh! Silence! Just wait and watch.

T: kyu, it's just sleeping na...

The deer's back was facing them

R: just wait and watch something very beautiful is going to happen.

Soon, the doe pushed out something and something popped under its tail.

Taani gasped closing her mouth with her hands and jerking back but rey hugged her from back wrapping his hands around her waist. But Taani was too shocked to react for that, her gaze was on the doe.

It is giving birth to a fawn.

They waited for a long 15 minutes till the whole baby came out and the doe was licking the baby completely. The fawn as lying limp on the ground and slowly it was lifting its head, it was covered in blood so Taani was shivering slightly at the scene but it was so beautiful to watch this.

She turned to him

T: Rey, let us go. Sharon and Swayam must be waiting for us.

R: why are you scared? Blood ko dekhke?

T: hmmm...

He pinned her to the nearby tree and hovered over her, he entwined her hands with hers and kissed her knuckles. Her breathing was ragged.

R: one day, you are going to bear my young. No need to get scared.

Her heart fluttered at his words, his eyes held lot of love and craving for her. He kissed her forehead and took her hand and made their way back.

Butterflies... no deer were dancing in her tummy. 😛😆

Here with swaron

They were slowly walking in the garden of deer and a deer couple was licking each other's faces and neck, Sharon was shooting it in the cam while Swayam was feeling awkward. He was getting a doubt what was going to happen next and

Sw: Sharon, lets go!

Sh: Swayam I am shooting.

Sw: that is why! Lets go!

Sh: haa?

Within an instant the rut pounced on the doe from behind and

Sw: crap! 😆

He took her hand and rushed to another place.

Sh: but kya hua?

Sw: kuch nahi! Let's go. Bohot time ho gya.

Soon both the couples were at the exit.

R: so, how was your day?

Sw: good!

And both of them left for the hotel.

{A/N: I seriously don't know what crap I wrote, or if anyone feels weird or awkward, I am sorry.}

After dinner

R: hmmm... what a day!

T: yeah!

R: yeah? 😉

T: yeah!! 😕

R: Taani, what were you thinking after we first met each other and agreed for the marriage?

T: matlab?

R: I was thinking a whole basketball team of golu's and gudiyas. 😆

Taani put her tongue in her cheek and trying to suppress her blush forming on her face.

R: blushing is not a crime. I think we are democratic and we have the right to blush.

T: shut up! 🤣

He took her left hand and started to roll his finger on their engagement ring looking at the diamond constantly. He then brought it to his lips and kissed it.

R: I am happy

Slowly a tear made its way out of her eye, and slid on her face.

R: Taani? What's wrong?

She rolled into his arms and hugged him around his torso tucking her head under his chin. He kissed the top of her head and hugged her tighter.

First tight hug 😳

Swayam was looking lost in his thoughts standing in the balcony of the room and Sharon came there to brush her hair, she was standing to the extreme corner so Swayam should not see her. She was done and was going into the room when Swayam called her

Sw: Sharon!

Sh: haa?

Sw: wo actually, those deer were...

Sh: were?

Sw: mating (scratching the back of his head) ☺️

Sh: oh! Sorry!

Sw: why?

Sh: you were getting embarrassed and I was not understanding why you rushed me.

His heart started to ache again

He took her hand in his and made her stand just in front of him; he was half sitting and half standing taking the support of the railing behind him.

Sw: Sharon. I am sorry!

Sh: why?

Sw: I shouldn't have... slapped you. (Shutting his eyes tight)

Sh: its ok, nothing new for me!

Sw: matlab? (Frowning)

Sh: STEP - MOM (she said quoting in the air)

Swayam's face drained, he looked at her shocked. 😲

Sh: it's really okay. And it really means a lot that you are talking to me normal.

He pulled her in his arms in an instant trying to soothe his pain and hers as well. Tears squeezed from the corners of his eyes and he dug his face in her neck.

"I am sorry" he said painfully. 😭
