Back later...🤗

First response...Upgrade
😉 What the.. Khushi paid for her ticket plus penalty after "...gotten married the day before.." 😆 ... Arnavji...I expected..."..here...pati jo hu.."😆

Awesome ..."Ten minutes later, they were sliding open the door of a two berth coupe, hazel eyes clashing triumphantly with amused caramel ones."

@ Bhavi...did I guess correctly? 😉 🤗

Upgrade to private compartment...

Scene in the train from the movie "From Russia With Love". 😛

Loved the chapter Jen. Take care and relieved to hear that both your babies are doing well. Love and hugs for all. 🤗 ❤️
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Subsequent thoughts...

Convergence and Divergence...
Anita-Aman povs in full disclosure, unrequited love, heartbreak, mind with one, heart with another... pain and loss were inevitable.
Aman, since he recognizes his bad judgement and is remorseful, I will remain indifferent about him and wish him well. Hope he continues to come to terms with his heart and moves ahead. Now he needs to "man up" and put a distance between the Gupta family and himself.

Interjecting Sujata here; Aman's frequent "caring" visits to see Navin further fueled Sujata's prejudice towards Arnav and her stubborn "incommunicado" with Khushi.

Anita deep down was always aware of Aman's "not fully over Khushi" feelings, so in a way the "hellish" night initiated the ending of her "crush" and the beginning of Aman's introspect.

Anita is a Gemini, she is intelligent and full of vitality. It takes a very special kind of man who can challenge a Gemini woman. I think she is going to have a chance meeting with an interesting travel companion on the flight home. 😉

Congratulations Isha and Vinay - wising them a very joyous journey ahead.
The vows were over and the air fraught with emotion at not only this convergence of two fates but also at the symbolic goodbyes to follow...nicely said Jen.

Arnav's timely arrival for goodbyes brought about light and more convergent moments between family and friends.😊

The best...after Anita's congratulations, Arnav's "Yes, make sure she doesn't leave anything out". Yes Khushi make sure you don't cover up anything. We are all eager to know the details.😛

❤️ Astha and Khushi forged a strong respectful bond when they first met, when there was no agenda, a familial friendship between two women.. and now they have a common agenda...Arnav... and both will, in their own way, do what it takes to bring him back from the remnants of the dark days.

Khushi and Anita have a steadfast relationship and the two will always be an unfailing source of reassurance to/for each other.
I think Jen, this inspiration comes from your bond with your sisters. 😊

Khushi's conversation with Sumita Maasi, who btw continues to impress me, awesome.
"Although visibly surprised, her aunt seemed impressed by the sincere emotion as well as confidence in Khushi's voice. The talk went way better than expected as a result and ended with her aunt affirming her trust in her."
This raises a question in my mind; being Isha's wedding and all; how come Sujata has not called her sister to see how she is doing? In my family there are nicely annoyingly endless calls between family members who can't attend major events.

Now...Khushi and Arnav...converged...diverged...and now converged forever. ❤️
The entire scene from "You are a drug, an addiction, Khushi" to " The small coupe was lit with a bluish night light with dots of golden orbs twinkling through the tinted window..", perfect, perfect movie script (and no, I am not watching either BW movies, this scene is enough for me😃).

That fateful park meeting and subsequent fight where each stood their ground (pretty much the same argument, different words) without listening to each other, today had a significant eloquent argument that ended in, "Why are we speaking each other's language, Khushi? What are heck are you doing to me?" Both arrived to this juncture by their own accord and it signifies positivity and stability in the relationship even though there is underlying conflict, but they will stand united and support each other. 👍🏼

Last, but not the least and this is my strong belief.
Khushi's very independent adult decision to follow her heart in no way diminishes the respect and importance of her parent's upbringing. They both matter to her even though Sujata does not speak to her. The mother daughter foundation and love is strong, just off-track at the moment.

Jen, As always...awesome chapter, fluid flow and strength in characters. Kudos. 👏

Catch up with other comments in a bit.

Waiting to see how the lines are going to converge... 😉

**EDITED**

Hi Jen, superb update as always...
Very quickly, as I have no time to write a long comment, as I too have a long train ride ahead of me, unfortunately, these trains don't come equipped with a coupe, 😉 followed by a very long flight... 😔

Here are my first thoughts...

What can I say about Aman & Anita, feel sorry for both of them... Sigh! Poor Aman being lost like that, the heart can be cruel when it is affected badly... Better judgment seems to fly out of the window. Unfortunately, he lost a real friend in the bargain. Wish him better luck next time. 😊

Not so bothered about Anita, she will come stronger after this little fiasco, we all have learnt to walk after a few falls... Loved the way she challenged Aman, don't you feel sorry for me. Yeah, no need to feel sorry for her, she's a smart & strong girl, she'll be fine in a few months.

About Khushi, she's grown leaps & bounds in her relationship with Arnav, good for her... Arnav has really made her feel so confident in her own beliefs & ideals... Real love is when you strengthen each other and that's what I see happening here...

This really was the highlight of the chapter...

"I'm an adult. I have the right to believe in myself, to follow my heart, to listen to my conscience", replied Khushi with her beautiful eyes aglow with a quiet self-confidence.

Loved the way Arnav said, why are speaking each other's language? LOL Hallmark of being in love. 😉

Loved Aakash's, "See you at the wedding" repartee... 😉 The guy is a riot. 😆

Haven't seen DDLJ in a while, so don't remember the scene very well, but it reminded me of the scene in JWM, Kareena asking the guy to hold her hand... 😆

I can now understand Arnav's fury... I am with him on this one, no wonder he was hopping mad...

But Khushi just won the day with her bagging a coupe from the TC... Ah! the possibilities...

Which reminds me, Arnav telling Anita to get all the details about the proposal from her di has to be a close second... 😆

That's all from me for now, sorry about the disjointed comment but that's all I could manage hurriedly.

Next time, see you States side...😉

Hope your babies are fine now Jenny. Thank you for the update. Loved it⭐️.
Finally we come to know what happened between Anita and Aman on her birthday. Hope Anita finds her happiness soon... Waiting eagerly for that to unravel...
Loved how Khushi listened to her heart and went along with Arnav. He does not know it now, but he sooo needs her with him on the 7th.

Waiting to read more about - The small coupe was lit with a bluish night light with dots of golden orbs twinkling through the tinted window..

Till then I am going to hum😃 ...

Congratulations on the new thread and I'm going to ignore your note and say - hoping for many more !
I really don't like all these semi good bye notes you are writing off late :( you cannot leave us and go anywhere:( you are committed to
us for 7 lives and more!!! You will not get rid of us so easily :)
Your update left me with this intense craving to be on a train right now :( I don't how many years it's been since I've been on one and that too in India ! What wouldn't I give to be on that train with Arnav and Khushi :) Are you capable of doing some magic Jen ?? 😃

You are going to have to do a lot of convincing for me to accept Aman for Anita. I am still not sure about this. But loved Khushi for finally following what her heart says. This journey promises to be very interesting and I am eagerly looking forward to it :)

What a wonderful update Jenny Di...!!
Loved it...
Finally got to know about Aman and Anita...
It was a bit selfish of Aman to do that with her. ..
But he did not realize he was leading Anita to a wrong direction...!!
But now... Aman is missing her... his desparation to talk with her... ask for forgiveness... This shows that she is important to him...
I hope they both will talk soon...
Both of them are adorable...
Coming to our lovely Arnav and khushi...
She got into that train and that too expertly got an upgrade to couple section...!! Clap*
Bravo khushi*
👏 [:D/]
Simply ausm that was...
They are madly in love and to read this wonderful moments they share gives a peace of calmness to me...
I hope there is more to this train journey... 😉
Very beautiful and lovely update di...
Plz continue soon..
Love you

Making a res after ages..
Unresd..
Oh the lines have converged..and how.

So that's what exactly happened on her birthday party. Poor Aman! Wonder how he is going to get back to talking terms with Anita.
Loved Akash's partying words. Loved the moments between the sisters. Loved Khushi's convo with Astha. Loved the fact that she doesn't care what her mother had to say about her going to Sri Nagar. Loved how she managed with the TC. And I so loved it, that they're going to spend time alone in a train full of people.. Now Arnav can't complain about her coming with him.

If there was a sweet spot where I would freeze the story then this would be it. Especially with Arshi falling in love all over again and a "million random things" to pick from, I have to say I am gladly falling for the story all over again.

I am so happy Anitha and Aman finally got some well deserved POV time. Yep, jerk he was, not for kissing but for kissing and running away. And a virgin heart she was, for letting someone break it into a million pieces. But, I am also glad he is finally realizing the value of what he lost. As for Anitha, I think she will be in her rights to demand an extended convincing from Aman. Eager to see how you are going to shape that up.

Let me jump straight to my favorite part of the story - Khushi. She had me at the puppy face with mischievous eyes but the "Simran" with biscuit packet in her hands more than made up for the last few chapters too. It's the Khushi we all wanted to see - someone knowing and acting on what she wants and someone sliding the door open of a two berth coupe😉. Yes, injectable form does not sound that bad at all😊.

Overall, it was a magical chapter with the feel of a spring breeze and I cannot believe Kashmir is up next, of course they have to get over the train ride first😉. Will eagerly wait and see how much more magical, magic can get.
