Percy was getting ready in his best clothes to surprise Annabeth. It was their one year anniversary, after they had started dating. He knew Annabeth won't have forgotten it, but yeah, she was busy with her mom, Athena, who didn't like them dating. They were the son and daughter of Poseidon and Athena, respectively. And everyone knew about the consistent arguments between them, the reason why they were enemies. Whatever, he had to go and pick up Annabeth, so he picked up the flower vase, consisting of Annabeth's favourite flowers, yellow roses.

When he reached Annabeth's home, he called her outside. Seeing him dressed like a pure gentleman, she realized he has s planned something special for him. So with the help of Piper, the daughter of Aphrodite, she got ready in a jiffy, and went down. Percy kissed her on the back her palm, and opened the door of his car. She got inside, while Percy went and sat at his place.
"Aye Seaweed Brain, you didn't forgot our one year anniversary, that the reason I love ya so much!" Annabeth said and kissed him on the cheek.
"You just spoiled my face with your lipstick. Eww...And at least, don't call me Seaweed Brain today" said Percy.
They both laughed.
"Let's go, shall we?"
"We shall." replied Annabeth.

They reached the beach, Annabeth's favourite place. It was fully empty, as if reserved for them for this evening. There was a table kept, decorated gorgeously in the pleasant combination of red, and whit colour. It thoroughly matched Annabeth's rosy white satin gown. The food was all of Annabeth's favourite delicacies, and of course, Percy's favourite pizza.
They ate in silence, until Percy spoke up, "So, how are the arrangements?"
"Fine, but only dinner?"
"Nope, there is more. Finish it, and then I'll show you."
Annabeth quickly tried to eat her food, and ended up choking herself, she coughed. Percy handed her over a glass of water, saying, "Relax Owlhead. The gifts and surprises aren't going anywhere."

After they completed their dinner, Percy held her hand, and took her to a nearby stall. Percy quickly winked at someone. Seeing it, a slideshow suddenly began playing in front of them, as they sat on the chair and saw it. It had all of the precious Percabeth moments, when they first met at Camp Half-Blood, when they first kissed, and also, when Annabeth told Percy that he drools in his sleep! Percy blushed at that moment. Their quests, their romantic moments, all were captured in that one slideshow.
I'm grateful for each day you gave me

Once it was over, Annabeth asked him, "That was lovely Percy. But tell me, you didn't do it all by yourself, then who helped you in it?"
"Rachel." he said coolly. Annabeth turned red with anger hearing her name.
Seeing hr expression, Percy laughed. "Of course dear. It wasn't Rachel. I was just kidding. It was Leo and Jason who helped me in this."
There was a sigh of relief on her face. "Leo and Jason did a great job then."
"Hey, what about me then?" he said with a pout.
"Of course you too Percy." she replied pulling his cheeks.

"I love you Annabeth." Percy said. "I love you too Seaweed Brain." she replied as Percy claimed Annabeth's lips for a kiss. They kissed for a short moment, under the moonlight.
Their love can never be forgotten, and no one can hurt that love, because true love never dies.
