Money & Metro Card

"Did I say abandoned?" he was angry

"It sure feels like it" her voice quivered as she sniffled

There was a long pause that extended over three minutes, their breathing audible, interspersed with her sniffling

"Punjab is on hold, cant u work from here for a week?" he extended an olive branch

"I dont know if I can fly" she panicked

"I will check with Dr Gupta" he offered

"And then u get what u want"

"By that do u mean us being together or "getting YOU?" he asked bitingly

"Adey problem tiruppi tiruppi" (the same thing between us)

"It doesnt have to be, we can make this work" he was sure

"I am just taking my kid and disappearing" she mumbled

she would do that!! He didnt doubt her at all

"How will I get to work now?" she whined

He grunted "You are the DIL of the largest Maruti dealer in the country and you dont have a ride to work?" grunt

"Dad's probably gone by now" she lied

NCR alone, between showrooms, workshops and Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) new car warehouses." R&B spoke firmly

She didnt respond

"I will text u the combination, and the living room on the 2nd floor has a chest of drawer, the top right shelf has a ornamental briefcase of sorts" he paused

She knew that one she had borrowed from it not too long ago.

"I might have some cash at home" she lied

Squirming, wondering if she should ask Amma

He exhaled...

"When are u coming back" she asked deeply upset

"I told you I have a couple trips" he said softly

"Thanks" she said softly for his "financial assistance" he thought...
She had steered the conversation away from the prickly subject of money, before quickly returning to it to thank him politely
He was dumbfounded, this marriage thing was mind boggling...

She was this contradictory mix of utter familiarity and deferential caution... caution especially when it came to matters of money.

"You could write me a "Dear Sir" letter" he offered stifling a chuckle

She exhaled weakly

"You wont let me talk about returning money you spent during honeymoon, yet I instantly acquiesced when your offer came of me spending more... of your money"

She muted the "of your money" as best as possible

"With a subtle difference" he gritted his teeth

"Whats that?" she enquired

"I TOOK ur purse" he said bluntly

"I should have enough back up reserves or sources to fund me faced with such a predicament" she beat herself
up "What if I had lost my purse on the Metro?" she challenged

"What would u do if u were single?" he asked patiently

"I would ask Appa" she said confidently

Something about the comfort and reassurance and warm and fuzz pissed him off
He had never been jealous of any man his entire life
The mere mention of Mr Iyer was grabbing him by his feet and slamming his head on the side walk.

He didnt want to hear or talk about the guy...

"How are u feeling this morning?" he asked gruffly

"Mahavir has made poha so how can it be bad?" she giggled like a teenager

"Ouch" he said pointedly

She blushed... she got the hint

He was basically trying to say "So u dont miss making out?" Dont miss the morning flirting?"

"Well... u went away" she reminded sulking

"Since u didnt pack me any clothes, I have nothing to wear" he reminded huskily

"Hey Its FRANCE, if u can be nude some place its that one" she said bravely, her tone quivering at the end somehow

"So I shouldnt be nervous about taking the Metro to work?" he provoked

He laughed out loud at her brazen encouragement...

SO well put

II can be as authoritative...own him and be all u are mine about everything..order him around and make him feel like she knew him from ages...and all that pana pan like "hey u are MINE my hubby and u will haaave to listen and i can be however i want...and then when it comes to borrowing money..well.."hey stranger in the bus who is paying for my ticket for as i forgot my wallet..could i please not yout no. so i could meet you at the stop and return you your money??"

points i would like to remention

= dude can never get bored of her...every new day every new minute she shows a side of him..a side he alreasdy knows but the newness with wich she shows it startles him and amuses him and makes him crazier about her.

= dude accepts the relationship between dad and II and acknowledges it...he trusts him with her and calling her associated to dad itself is something notable.

= the way he misses waking upto her is way to evident in the questions he asks...!

= no matter how he pranks on her he is an observant man and has a good presence of mind and knows to say the right things to make her life easier.

the whole...i know you would need money and you dare not ask anyone was grear

now the awesomest part

jealousy ke liye dude ko miltein hai full marks 👏

keeps saying he doesnt care for appa but always tries to do things that would impress him inturn making his wife love him more than her appa...waaahhh!

dude gonna walk nude in france??? who else wants to book tickets for the show? 😛😛😛
