ENCHANTRESS

She is the Mohini and I am the bewitched

I am enthralled by all that she does and all hat she is

I find it heart wrenching to leave her behind or be left behind

My heart is in a constant eddy when she is around

I can fight for her with her to have my way

Her talk her soulful rendering the silks she drapes

The tantrums and fibs not to miss the moles have all bewitched me

When then overanxious mind of hers is at work I am in defense mode

The kids need excitement to fall asleep in haste

That would give me time to woo her to my ways

Shes a singed cat now with paws extended I avoid confrontations

Time and a nap will ready her for me

She then will become from enchantress to the enchanted
