" Lav, finally the alliance broke! I am feeling so happy that I don't know what to do. I will no longer have to marry that jerk and this very thought makes me feel as if I have conquered the world." Khushi expressed her extreme joy and happiness at the breaking of the alliance to Lav, who had come down to Delhi again for an interview as she had submitted her resumes at various places as her internship got over.

" Feeling happy that you will not marry that jerk or feeling happy that maybe you will remain of Arnav forever, Khushi?" Lavanya questioned Khushi straightly as she looked at Khushi intently, while Khushi's smile faded away with that question, after all it was the very same question that has been haunting her mind, since she went to office post the news.

Getting silence as a answer from Khushi, Lavanya chose to continue,

" Before seeing you both, I had never believed that true love still exists in our society. But after seeing you both I have realized that love which cares for your beloved more than your happiness and well-being, love that craves for your love's happiness at the cost of your own pain, still exists. But you know what, Khushi. You and your love both are stupid. Arnav, at Lucknow feels that it will be a sin to love you now as you are getting married but is unable to forget you and is in deep turmoil while you here, thinking about his well-being, were ready to marry that stupid moronic jerk."

" Arnav...Arnav, still loves me?" Khushi's lips shivered as her breaths halted in the anticipation of an affirmative answer. She didn't know why, but her heart, wanted him to love her, as much as she did, as much as she desired.

" You know how broken, devastated Arnav was when I told him that you are happy with Rahul?"

--FLASHBACK--

Lavanya had come back to Arnav's house because she had forgotten her bag in the hurry of running away from the situation. As she entered into the house, she was shocked to see Arnav on the floor, crying his heart out.

" Why am I feeling so much pain? I myself wanted Khushi to feel happy no matter what and now when she is happy, why am I feeling so bad?" Arnav uttered under his breath as he questioned himself, while tears rolled down from Lavanya's cheeks for hurting Arnav so badly.

She went towards Arnav, and placed her hand gently over his shoulder while questioning,

" You still love Khushi unconditionally and boundlessly right?"

Arnav sprung up to his feet sensing Lavanya behind him and tried to wipe out his tears, while Lavanya held his hand stopping him from wiping his tears, and did it herself.

" If you love her so much, then why did you let her go, Arnav?If you love her so much, then why are you crying here in Lucknow when you could do everything to make her yours, forever?"

" Lav, Khushi is getting married. Loving her would be a sin, usse pyaar karna ab ek gunaah hai.." Tears streamed out of Arnav's eyes as Lavanya couldn't stay quiet any longer as her own heart ached to see her best friends in so much of pain.

" Agar Khushi Se Pyaar Karna Ek Gunaah Hai, Arnav. Tho Tum Gunaahon Ka Devta Ho. You are the lord of sins if loving Khushi is a sin because YOU LOVE HER MORE THAN YOURSELF AND WOH TUMHARE AANKHON MEIN SAF DIKHTA HAI!" Lavanya's words were true and like always truth was bitter. He didn't regret his love but he surely was feeling so much of pain that he felt as he was dying due to that.

" No, Lav. Khushi is no longer mine and I am sure she is happy the way she is right now. And her happiness means to me more than anything. But my heart is unable to let go of her memories. She was able to walk out of my life but is not able to walk out of my heart. I don't know what to do to make her leave my heart or maybe I don't want to know the way."

Who says loyalty just remains in books these days? If this was not loyalty to the relationship then what else do you name this divine feeling as?

--FLASHBACK ENDS--

" He loves you so damn much and you, like a fool have been ignoring all his mails and messages to avoid him and make him hate you. Khushi, the fact is Arnav can never ever hate you because he loves you too much for that. He loves you so much that sometimes I feel that you are so blessed to get him and I feel like believing in love again. But you, just cannot understand his love." Lavanya vented out her inbuilt frustration which had built up due to Arnav's pain and his immense love, which was ignored by Khushi, ruthlessly and heartlessly.

" Lavanya, try to understand. I didn't want to hurt to Arnav, because if I wanted that I could have gone to him, to enjoy at least last moments of this life with him. But Lav, I couldn't get so selfish and get his life into danger too." Khushi sobbed bitterly while holding Lavanya's hand in hers and going down on her knees as they lost their strength to balance.

" I understand that love cannot be selfish, but that doesn't mean that you will give up even before trying. Maybe it is correct that people these days don't love genuinely, because if true love gets a fate like this, it is better you don't love at all. I am sorry to say this Khushi, but you are wrong here. You are not able to trust your love and Arnav here to be able to protect you and him, and what is the point of a relationship without trust. I am going. I am sorry to have wasted your time when your stance was already decided.It is your life and your choice. And yes, I will tell Arnav to cut off all the contact with you and stop hoping for a reply, because he deserves someone better, someone who trusts him." Lavanya was almost leaving when Khushi stood up on her feet and spoke in a shaky voice,

" Mujhe Arnav Se Milna Hai."

Lavanya turned around to meet Khushi's eyes with shocked expressions while Khushi repeated her statement to clear Lavanya's confusions,

" I want to meet Arnav, Lav. I know I am at fault. I know I shouldn't have done this but I couldn't even imagine putting Arnav's life in any risk. Door tho Sahi, At least viswaas tho hota ki, wherever Arnav is, he is safe. Zamaana Kuch Bhi Kahe, Mere Suhaag Pe Sirf Arnav Ka Naam Hoga Aur Apne Suhaag Ko Kaise Mitne Deti Main? I want to meet Arnav and apologize to him, tell him how much I love him and what was the reason behind my doings.

Will you give me a chance to correct my doings, Lav?"
