In the afternoon
Yudi finds Simran ma'am doing her regular yoga. He stands there for sometime admiring her posture. Noticing his shadow, Simran says, "Tum yahan aa sakte ho Yudi". Reaching her he asks, "ma'am apko kaise pata chala ki main yahan hun?" Smiling, she drags him towards her, so that now they are face to face. Then she points towards her right showing him their shadows. Looking at it, he smiles and says, "Oh! This! Intelligent! Anyways ma'am do you know aaj ka humara task kya hoga?" "Well frankly Yudi, iss baat ko lekar main bhi thodi si nervous hun. God knows Major Bharagava ne kya socha hai".
"Yudi!" calls Dr. Shalini. They both turn to look at Dr. Shalini. Reaching them, Dr. Shalini greets them, "hello! Yudi I need to talk to you", smiles, Dr. Shalini looking at Simran. "Sure. Yudi I'll meet you later", saying this Simran leaves. As she leaves, Dr. Shalini and Yudi keep staring each other, figuring out what to say and how to start. "Maine decide kar liya hai!" they utter together, then smile. "Kya decide kar lia hai apne?" asks Yudi, smiling. "Pehle tum batao Cadet"! "Yahi ke main ek acha soldier bann ke dikhaunga. Aaj se balki abhi se main apni life soldier ki life ki tarah jeena chahta hun". Dr. Shalini admires him for that. "Aur apne kya decide kar lia hai ma'am?" asks Yudi with full eagerness. "Yahi ke apni purani zindagi ko bhul kar main agey badhungi. I am going to give divorce to him". Listening to her words make his heart to swell. Tear brims into both of their eyes.

Inside Pooja and Major Nayyer's tent
"Cadet Ghai aaj Major Bhargava jo koi bhi dangerous exercise dene wale hain, main chahta hun ki main jeetun usmein" says Major Nayyer. "Apka matlab hai hum?" asks Pooja, correcting him. Giving a sarcastic smile, he says, "Of course Cadet tum hi ho jo mujhey... I mean humein jitwa sakti ho!" "Wo kaise?" "Kadi mehnat kar ke, exercise karke. Apne aap ko uss exercise ke liye ready karke".
Inside Captain Rajveer and Naina's tent
"Nahi Naina tum tension mat lo. Bus jitna ho sakey, jitna aasani se ho sake utna hi karo. Main tumhe pressurize nahi karna chahta. Ek to Major Bhargava ki presence waise hi tum sub cadets ko pressurize karti hai. Main nahi chahta ki tum aur under pressure aao", says Captain Rajveer, standing inside their tent, his hands inside his trousers' pockets. "Aur aap Sir?" asks Naina, standing behind him. "Main?" asks Rajveer, turning to look at her. "Aap ko darr nahi lag raha?" Hearing this, he starts thinking, "haan Naina darr to lag raha hai. Pata nahi Major Bhargava ke dimag mein kya chal raha hai".
Shaking her head, "Kamal hai Sir mentor aap hain, apko mujhey samjhana chahiye ki main tension na lun, par yahan to lag raha hai mujhey hi apko sambhalna hoga", jokes Naina. Captain Rajveer gives her a stern look which warns her to get serious. As Rajveer notices the shift on her looks, he bursts out into a laugh. Realizing he was just teasing, Naina sighs and blushes. "Chalo Naina main thoda jog karke aata hun", Naina nods.
Captain Rajveer sets for his jog and starts thinking. 'Pata nahi Chaubey unn triggers ki dekh-rekh theek se kar raha hoga ke nahi. Main janta hun ki spy KMA mein se hi koi hai, par iss waqt wo kahan hai mere liye ye pata lagana bohot zaruri hai. Iss mentorship program ke declaration ke baad mujhey issi baat ki chinta thi ki kya yahan reh kar bhi main unn triggers ka dhyan rakh paunga. Inside her tent, Naina starts writing her diary

Aaj jab main unn dino ke barey mein sochti hun jab main KMA mein aane ke liye sochti thi, main Rajveer Sir ke barey mein kitna galat sochti thi. Frankly jab maine dheere-dheere unn par trust karna shuru kia tha, main sochti thi ki main unhe iss baat ka kabhi pata nahi lagne dungi ki main unn par kitna bharosa karti hun. Par ab mujhey lagta hai main haar gayi hun! I am sure unhe pata hai ki agar KMA mein main kisi par trust karti hun to wo sirf wo hi hain.
Aur wo pal jab mujhey iss baat ka ehsaas hua ki Rajveer Sir se main pehle bhi mil chuki hun, mujhey ajeeb si feeling hui, jaise ki iss anjan jagah pe bhi mujhey koi mera apna mil gaya. As Rajveer takes left turn he thinks, 'Jis maksad ki wajah se main KMA aaya tha, wo triggers...' as he thinks this, Naveen's face comes in front of his eyes. The anger, the loss, comes to the surface of his heart a fresh. And the thing that hurts him the most is when he remembers Naina. The pain, the loss in her eyes are evident. Although he loves looking into her eyes, the eyes that attracts him the most towards her but it never fails to even hurt him to the core, seeing the pain in those eyes. Specially when he knows he is capable of erasing all the sorrows, all the pain but he needs time. How long? He himself doesn't have an answer to this question. His increasing rate of heartbeats, which is a result of not only his running but also the anger, he is feeling, the helplessness that he can't endure, makes him to stop at a point. Placing his hands on his knees, he breaths heavily. 'Chahe kuch bhi ho jaye Naveen main tujhey begunah sabit karke rahunga. Tu ek traitor nahi balki ek deshbhakt hai ye sabit karke rahunga. Aur Naina tum, tum ek traitor ki behn nahi ho. Tum sir jhuka kar nahi, balki duniya ke samne garv se sir uthakar khadi hogi, I promise you that, I promise this to both of you. Aur jo koi bhi inn sub ke peechey hai, unhe saza milegi, zarur saza milegi', thinks Rajveer.

After sometime all the members of KMA get the order to assemble on the ground. They all do so. As they wait for their next instruction, the cadets standing in proper que, and the mentors standing in front of them, discover Major Bhargava approaching them. Captain Rajveer creases his brows.
Reaching them Major Bhargava greets them, "Cadets good afternoon!" all the cadets wish him in unison. "How are you all? Where on one hand Captain Rajveer fails to understand his actual hidden meaning behind his words, and thinks that Major Bhargava has some difficult task in his mind, which they have to accomplish in time, there on the other hand Naina again notices that Captain Rajveer ain't very happy on seeing Major Bhargava there. "Well aap subko aaj ek task diya jata hai!" as he says this, he notices the panic on each one's face. Smiling, he says, "dariye matt cadets and even mentors", he again stares at Captain Rajveer, giving him a sarcastic smile. Then he continues, "bohot hi easy task hai for starters. Vishwas, yakin, bharosa kitna hai mentor aur uske protege ke beech, ye dekhna hai mujhey". Turning towards the mentors, he says, "Mentors would you mind marching forth, cadets you all follow".
As they reach up to a particular place, surrounded with tall trees from all sides, Dr. Mishra gets trapped and hangs upside down by her right foot, on a tree. "Ohoo... Dr. Mishra, very sorry that you are the one who got trapped" says Major Bharagava. "Definitely iss situation se nikalne ka rasta hai, dekhte hain, kya aap dono aisa kar pate hain ke nahi. Cadet Alekh - tum aisa kar patey ho ki nahi, aur Dr. Ritu dekhna ye hai ki aap Cadet Alekh ka hausla banaye rakhti hain ya nahi. Aisi situation mein shant rehna bohot kaam mein aata hai, bohot zaruri hota hai. Cadet Alekh qaid mein rehne ka to tumhe experience hai, qaid se nikalne ki practice kar lo. All the best!"
Captain Rajveer starts to speak, "Sir, I don't think so humein inhe itna mushkil task iss stage mein dena chahiye", getting angry, he increases his pitch, "come on Sir, apko andaza hai ki agar Cadet Alekh ye nahi kar paya to Dr. Mishra... Dr. Mishra ki jaan ko khatra hai Sir. Agar Cadet Alekh ka thoda sa bhi dhyan bhatka to..." as he was about to continue, Major Bhargava cuts him off, "dhyan bhatka? Well Captain Rajveer, Cadet Alekh ka dhyan bhatke na bhatke but apka dhyan bhatka hua nazar aa raha hai mujhey", saying this Major Bhargava stares both Captain Rajveer and Cadet Naina. Captain Rajveer glares at him angrily. Shaking his head in anger, he turns towards Alekh and says, "Cadet Alekh, I am sure tum ye task kar sakte ho. But please stay calm! Shant reh kar ye kaam karna. Jao agey badho!" As he ends up saying this, Major Bhargava continues, "aagey! Exactly aagey... aagey hi to aap nahi badh sakte Cadet Alekh". They all stare at Major Bhargava in shock. "Oh... didn't I tell you?" he asks, acting surprised. "How could I forget? Well cadet aap jahan khadey hain, dhyan rahe apke pairo ke theek neechey ek bomb hai!" He gives them time to accept the bitter truth. "Yes, you heard me right. Jaise hi apka pair uske upar se utha, socho bomb explode hua".
Then addressing to Captain Rajveer he says, "so Captain, I guess aap agey badhiye, zarur badhiye but at your own risk. Bina agey badhey kuch hoga nahi", saying this he turns to look towards Naina, giving her a sarcastic smile, he continues, "aur agar aagey badh gaye...", he turns again to look at Captain Rajveer and completes his line "to boom! Dhamaka... Dhamaka ho sakta hai!"
Captain Rajveer takes over everything and starts guiding Alekh, but before that he asks for a hair pin from Naina, which she gives away quickly. Captain Rajveer throws it to Alekh, which he catches successfully. "Cadet tum jahan khadet ho wohin khadey rehkar neechey baitho" commands Captain Rajveer. All other pairs stare at the whole procedure, terrified. Captain Rajveer keeps commanding him and Alekh follows his words patiently. Major Bhargava enjoys it immensely, the tensed look of the cadets and faculty alike. Soon Alekh succeeds in diffusing the bomb which makes all of them to sigh in relief and Major Bhargava to crease his brows. "Fantastic! Ab aaram se jahan ho bilkul waise hi upar aa jao" "Oh! Main bhul gaya Captain Rajveer ki tum har bomb ko diffuse karna jante ho. Meri drill waste hui Cadet Alekh. Mere efforts waste hue. Cadet Alekh try moving out". As Alekh tries to step out, he realizes its still not diffused. "Stop Cadet Alekh" shouts Captain Rajveer, commanding him to stand at his place."Sorry to disappoint you Captain but main itna bewakuf bhi nahi". All of them stare at Dr. Mishra, worried.
"Cadet Alekh ab dekhein aap kya karte hain". All of them look at Dr. Mishra, worried. Captain Rajveer starts, "Dr. Mishra..." but Dr. Mishra cuts him off, "Nahi Captain, ye humara test hai so please aap meri aur mere Cadet ki help na karein. We both will be successful don't worry" assures, Dr. Mishra."But Dr. Mishra..." "Please Captain, please!" "Cadet Alekh tumhare paas knife hai?" "Yes ma'am!" "Tumne apni zindagi mein bohot baar knife chalayi hogi?" "right ma'am" "jab main tumhe kahungi, apna knife nikalna, aur rope ki taraf fekna". All of them look worried. Alekh, although worried, but tries to show that he is calm. Alekh brings out his knife. Dr. Mishra swings for sometime, all others get back. "Are you ready Cadet?" "Yes Ma'am!" "Alright jab main bolun, throw it! 3... 2... 1... throw" and the knife goes up in the sky, all the hearts stop beat for a few seconds, the knife cuts through the rope, Dr. Mishra falls down on the ground, along with Alekh. Nodding Dr. Mishra hugs Alekh, congratulating him, "Good job!" All the other pairs applaud them. "Congratulations Dr. Ritu, Cadet Alekh ye exercise sirf mentor aur protege pair ke liye thi, lekin, yahan pe utsah kuch zada hi lagta hai. Dusra pair apne aap ko participate karne se rok nahi paya. Congratulations once again. Dismiss!" saying this Major Bhargava gives Captain Rajveer and Naina a stern look and leaves.
