To kill the time, all the pairs indulge themselves into little bit of chit-chat. "Cadet Ali!" Ali turns to check out what Lolita Ma'am needs. Crossing her arms she asks, "Tum sotey kaise ho?" Unable to understand what does she mean, he asks, "Ma'am?" "Kharatey to nahi lete?" Sighing, Ali replies, " No ma'am!" "Good, let's go!"
"Tum jhut to nahi bol rahe Cadet Alekh?" asks Dr. Mishra."Ek boond bhi nahi hai daaru ki!" "Laani chahiye thi, zarurat padh sakti hai". Her answer takes Alekh by surprise.
"You know Cadet, I am very excited about this camp!" says Dr. Shalini, jogging towards her destination along with Yudi. "Sure!" says Yudi, without any interest.Stopping, Dr. Shalini turns to look at Yudi, "kya baat hai Yudi?""Nothing let's go!"Holding his hand from behind, Dr. Shalini says, "jab se hum dinner se laute hain tumne mujhse theek se baat hi nahi ki. I know cadet, I behaved rudely. I am really sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. I..." as she was about to continue, Yudi says, "It's okay ma'am let it be. Shayad maine hi apse kuch zada umeed kar li thi. Ek pal ke liye soch liya tha ki hum teacher-student nahi balki...", they keep staring each-other, Yudi continues, "friends hain!" "Cadet..." Dr.Shalini starts to speak, then thinks the better of it.
While all the pairs were moving forward on their given path. Naina and Rajveer were also moving towards their destination. Naina following Rajveer, asks him, "Sir apne mere ek baat ka jawab aaj tak nahi dia!" As soon as Rajveer hears this, he halts and turns to look at her, "konsa question Naina?" he asks, creasing his brows. "KMA ke aap itne ache student reh chuke hain, aur ab ek teacher bhi hai, Captain! phir bhi apke barey mein internet pe koi information nahi hai. Aisa kyun?" Smiling, Captain Rajveer replies, "Naina mujhey nahi pasand ki mere barein mein log zada janey. Naina meri ek bohot choti si duniya hai. Aur wo duniya KMA se shuru hoti hai aur KMA pe hi khatam hoti hai. Iss duniya mein mere KMA ke fellow mates, mere seniors, mere cadets aur...", then he looks towards her, deep into her eyes (slow Rajveer-Naina tune begins). After sometime, Naina lowers her eyes, Rajveer looks elsewhere. Clearing his throat, he says, "aur mujhey nahi pasand ki meri privacy disturb ho", he keeps moving forth. "Haan aap bohot secretive hai!", as soon as Naina says this, he gets alert, anticipating where is she taking the topic towards. Silently he waits for her next question, his mind running in every direction, anticipating what could she ask next. But instead of asking any question, she thanks him, "Thank you Sir!"
Unable to understand, why is she thanking him, he creases his brows. "Ahmm... mujhey galat sabit karne ke liye", Naina answers his unasked doubt. "Galat?" "Mujhey darr tha ki main aap par bharosa kar sakti hun ya nahi" "Aur kya tum mujh par bharosa karti ho Naina?" Naina looks deeply into his eyes and nods her head to a 'yes'! (Rajveer-Naina tune starts in the background) Rajveer smiles and Naina lowers her eyes. "Come!" says Captain Rajveer and they both move forth. Rajveer leads the way. Walking on a rough path through a forest area, Naina faces difficulty in walking. Rajveer turns and forwards his hand, to support her. They keep staring each-other. Checking that there is no one around her, through her peripheral vision, Naina places her hand on his hand, and moves forth. She losses her balance and falls on Rajveer. Rajveer holds her before they both fall on the ground, they both laugh. Rajveer again leads the way and Naina follows him. He makes it sure that their hands remain entwined.
"Sir waise humare iss camp ka maksad kya hai?" asks Naina, and tries to let go off his hold, but instead of letting go, Rajveer tightens the hold. "Ahmm... Sir kya yahan koi cross-road hai, jahan se hum dusre kisi team se mil sakein?" Understanding the motive of her question Rajveer answers, "Nahi Cadet yahan koi cross road nahi hai". Getting the answer, Naina relaxes, but soon his next comment succeeds in skipping her heartbeat, "to don't worry hum kab kya kar rahe hain, iss baat ka kisi ko kuch pata nahi chalega", he smiles secretly. Although he says it in a casual way, without showing his efforts to indicate towards anything, but she understands his unspoken words anyhow. And how can she not? When she succeeds in reading his eyes so easily, so why won't he understand his spoken words? "Anyways answer to your first question is..." and they reach a relatively normal path, so he let go off her hand and moves forth and says, "Iss drill ke peechey Major Bhargava ka maksad jitna saaf aur simple lag raha hai, mujhey nahi lagta aisa such mein hai!"

Major Bhargava sits and cradles his chair and says, "Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat bohot shok hai na apko apne favorite cadets ko bachane ka. Wo 6 cadets jo apka gurur hai. Jo apke liye kitne keemti hain, apki ankhon mein jhalakta hai. Oops! I mean apke 'naino' mein jhalakta hai. Specially apki favorite cadet, 'Cadet Naina Singh' or shall I say 'Cadet Naina Singh Ahluwalia'. Dekhte hain kya hota hai jab inn cadets ka aap par se dheere - dheere bharosa uthta hai.
Aap zarur soch rahe honge ki 'oh my god! mujhey meri favorite cadet Naina ka mentor banne ko itni aasani se mil gaya? No! No! No Captain! Certainly not, har ek baat ke peechey ek reason hota hai". Then bringing out a picture of Naveen and Rajveer together, he stares at it and laughs. "Cadet Naina 36 hours jungle mein, apne mentor, apne captain, apne 'Rajveer' ke saath, kafi hone chahiye. Never underestimate Major Bhargava, Cadet Naina, never. 36 hours khatam hone se pehle, tum ye kubool karogi ki tumhara bhai deshdrohi, gaddar tha. I promise".

Soon all the teams build up their tents in their allotted place, by viewing the map made on a board, for all of them to view at a common destination. Alekh notices and tells Huda, "Abey dekh har ek ka tent alag-alag khopche mein hai". Huda notices the same. "Abey meri Phoolan North. Aisa kaise guzara hoga". Ali enters the scene from behind and says, "Guzara karna hoga". Huda and Alekh turn to look at him. "Iss mentorship program mein yahi sikhaya jayega humein, ki mushkil halat mein, kam equipment ke saath kaise jeeya jayega".
Yudi comes running to check out his allotted tent on the map. Huda walks to him and embraces him by his shoulder. "Aur bhai Yudiye kaisa lag rha hai?" "Excuse me?" asks Yudi, still checking out the map."Arey Dr. Shalini ke saath ek hi tent mein!" laughs Huda."Dude main yahan mentorship program ko successfully complete karne aaya hun, so please!""Arey Yudiye tu gussa kyun ho raha hai?" Then relaxing, Yudi says "Dude frankly, I am nervous!" Laughing Huda says, "Abey Yudiye tujhey kissey darr? Aur koi bhi help chahiye ho to tera ye bhai Huda hai na!" Huda winks Alekh. (Huda's tune begins in the background). "Bus ek awaz lagayiyo, tera ye bhai Huda hazir tere tent mein, teri madad karne". Yudi gives him an angry look. "I mean agar kabhi koi problem hui to" explains Huda. "Dude tumne apna tent aur mera tent dekha hai? Help karne ayega!" saying this he gives him an expression of 'mad you are'! Alekh replies in a low voice, "fattu sala!" All of them move towards their areas allotted to them.
Rajveer and Naina check the map and collect the materials to build their tent. Rajveer flashes the torch on Naina, deliberately although standing close to her and says, "So the drill begins now". He laughs, as the flashlight irritates her eyes. Naina laughs back, enjoying the gesture.
While all of them are collecting the material, remix version of 'Left Right Left' title track begins in the background. All this consumes the whole night.
As Alekh ignites the lantern, Dr. Mishra enters the tent and says, "tent lag gaya hai. Now come let's see what other equipment do we have!" They move out, to check the bag they were provided. Dr. Mishra brings out the materials - a mug, a shovel, a bottle of water. "Cadet do you wanna have some water? Pani?" "Apun pani nahi peeta""Oh han tum to apna stock rakhte ho apne saath. So you lied, tum apna stock laye ho" "uske bina apun ek minute bhi nahi reh sakta ma'am. Jaise aap logon ko pani ki zarurat hoti hai zinda rehne ke liye, apun ko iski zarurat hoti hai. Sorry!" "Alright cadet, mujhey thoda sa mil sakta hai? Zada nahi thoda sa. Wo actually thand hai na so..." As Alekh produces it towards her, she grabs it. Opening the cap, she drops the whole content of the bottle on the wood logs and ignite them. Then showing the empty tin to him, she says, "I think humein issey zada, iss aag ki zarurat hai, to survive". Then she ignites the wood logs.

Naina and Rajveer build the tent and get inside it. While Rajveer ignites the lantern, Naina checks that they are given only one blanket. She walks towards him, holding the blanket in her hands. "Ahmm..." as Naina starts, Rajveer turns to look towards her. "Yes Cadet Singh, do you need something?" They keep looking into each other's eyes and Naina nods her head to a 'no' and forwards her hands holding the blanket. "Ahmm...ye aap rakh lijiye". Staring at the blanket, he smiles, then looking towards Naina, he says, "It's okay Naina tum ye rakh sakti ho!""Sir main ek student hun, so I guess cadets ko tough banna chahiye, right?" Smiling, Rajveer takes the blanket from her. "Alright ahmm... Naina main kuch lakdiyan collect kar leta hun. Yahan jungle mein, junglee janwar se bachne mein helpful sabit hoga. And then thand lagey to tab bhi useful sabit honge wo" smiles Rajveer, and turns to leave.
Suddenly he realizes, Naina didn't reply. He turns to look at Naina, and finds her sitting down and staring him. "Kya hua Cadet Singh?" Lowering her eyes, she shakes her head, indicating 'nothing'. Looking heavenwards, he takes a deep breath, he looks at her, he waits for some moment, staring her, then walks towards her and sits on his feet, his right knee slightly higher than the left, his right elbow resting on his right knee. He keeps staring her, after few seconds, he asks, "kya hua?" Naina raises his eyes and looks into his eyes. (Slow Rajveer-Naina flute tune starts in the background) Smiling a little, he assures her "main thodi der mein aa jaunga". He waits for her to accept the proposal. After a few moments, which felt like eternity, Naina smiles. Exhaling audibally, with a smile on his face, Rajveer shakes his head, left to right then back to left again, left-right-left and continues this rhythm for sometime. Getting up, he gives a last look to her and smiles, Naina smiles back and then he leaves the tent.

Reaching a particular place, he picks up a log of wood from the ground and sharp it with his blade. Dr. Mishra reaches him with a flashlight in her hand and asks, "do you need some light Captain?" Looking towards her, he smiles and says, "oh thanks! A... Dr.Mishra aap yahan pe iss waqt?" he asks and simultaneously, he keeps working, sharpening the piece of wood in his hand. "Ji a... lekin aap kya kar rahe hain?" "Hathiyar tayar kar raha hun" then he looks towards Dr. Mishra who looks confused. Smiling, he says, "Nahi kisi par attack karne ke liye nahi, khud ke self defence ke liye". Lowering her eyes, Dr. Mishra says, "Captain a... ek sawal tha!" "Puchiye na! Bilkul bejhijhak hokar" "KMA mein apke kitne friends hain?" "Ji?" asks Captain Rajveer, surprised to hear the question. "Yeah! kitne friends hain apke?" "Friends? Lemme see..." Captain Rajveer thinks. "Well I guess - ahmm... Dr. Shalini, ah... Suri, Suri ji!" he says, looking at her. "Then Lolita ji ah... well frankly filhal to kuch cadets bhi friends bann gaye hain", saying this he lowers his eyes and blushes. "Ahmm... like Alekh, kafi-kafi respect karta hai meri. (blushes) You know doctor, uss mein kitna change aaya hai. I am surprised to witness the change in him. Aap dekhna I am sure wo ek din ek bohot acha soldier bann kar dikhayega... Cadet Huda, usko to aap janti hi hain bhaley hi bolta bohot hai (smiles) but ek acha soldier banne ke sarey lakshan hai uss mein... Cadet Yudi, I guess jab wo yahan aaya tha wo focused nahi tha, as if usne properly decide na kia ho ki ussey soldier banna hai ya nahi. But today... aap ussey dekh kar aisa keh sakti hain ki wo dedicated nahi hai? (smiles) Cadet Ali, wo to shuru se hi focused hai. Apne dimag ko idhar-udhar bhatakne nahi deta. Par aap dekhna uske jo ye saathi hai na, ussey bigad kar chorenge (laughs)
Cadet Pooja, jiska ki although cross-connection lag gaya tha, I mean wo yahan ek soldier banne nahi but apne friend Rohit ko dhundhne aayi thi (smiles) but ab uska connection KMA ke saath achi tarah jud gaya hai. Mujhey pura yakeen hai ki wo ye connection kabhi nahi disconnect karna chahengi (smiles)" "Aur Cadet... Cadet Naina..." saying this he lowers his eyes and blushes secretly. "Cadet Naina..." as he was about to say further, Dr. Mishra cuts him in the middle, saying "Captain...". He looks towards her, then continues with his work, waiting for her to speak, "Captain pehle aap jab KMA aate the, hum kafi time spend karte the ek saath, you know! Par pata nahi kyu Captain, iss baar aap kafi katey-katey se lag rahe hain".
Looking towards her, he says, "aisa, aisa kuch nahi hai Dr. Mishra. Well kuch dino se main Cadet Naina ko lekar thoda pareshan tha" "Wo to aap ab bhi hain" "Haan hun to sahi, kyunki mujhey Major Bhargava par bilkul bharosa nahi hai". Smiling sarcastically, "well, bharosa to apko apne doston par bhi nahi hota!" Rajveer looks towards her, understanding what she meant. Then continues with his work, simultaneously paying attention to her words.
Clearing her throat, she says, "you know what Captain, ahmm... actually main kuch dino se ek baat notice kar rahi hun. Apka dimag kahin aur bhatak raha hai. Just a minute, you know what main... main apse kuch sawal karungi. Simple se sawal, ap bus jawab de dijiyega ahm... straight forward. Main apka state of mind bata sakti hun". "Dr. Mishra aap... khamakha pareshan ho rahi hain", saying this he again resumes to his work. "Aap achi tarah se janti hain ki na to mujhey bhatakne ka shok hai, aur na hi mere dimag ko". Crossing her arms, she asks casually, "aur apke dil ko?". Captain Rajveer looks towards her in surprise, blushing. He lowers his eyes and resumes to his work.
He walks forth and picks up another piece of wood. Walking after him, Dr. Mishra says, "Look Captin it's just, simple, game. Not difficult, bohot aasaan hai. Come on Captain main ek psychiatrist
hun aur..." raising her eyebrows she says,"aur apki dost bhi. I... I would like to help you". Rajveer turns to look towards her, then again turns back and continues with his work. Dr. Mishra, standing behind him says, "chaliye bataiye... bohot hi simple se questions hain" then she thinks, "aa..." "Captain aap din mein kitni baar brush karte hain?" Captain Rajveer turns to look at her and says, "ji?" "Brush! Captain! Aap brush to karte hain na?" asks Dr. Mishra, laughing simultaneously. Smiling and feeling shy simultaneously, he replies, "bilkul karta hun. Din mein do (2) baar" "Aur pehle?" "pehle bhi do (2) baar" then he thinks and corrects, "nahi pehle actually ek baar. Ahmm... kabhi-kabhi do (2) bar", he informs, turning to look towards her. Nodding, Dr. Mishra asks, "apka favorite color kya hai?" "Mera favorite color hai 'blue'! Nahi I think 'black' yeah 'black'", he replies after taking his own sweet time to decide. "Are you sure?" "Yeah I am sure!" "Ok!" "apko kya pasand hai - apko suraj pasand hai ya... ya candles?" "Dr. Mishra mujhey candles pasand hai!" "Lekin suraj kyun nahi?", she asks."Suraj to candles se zada roshni deta hai!" "Dr. Mishra apne kabhi suna hai, ki koi 'sunlight dinner' pe ja raha hai?" he asks giving an expression that tells that he is feeling weird, thinking about 'sunlight dinner'. Smirking, he says, "log candle light dinner pe jatey hain, kyunki wo... zada romantic hota hai" and carries the logs on his shoulder and collects them at a place. "Yani apko maza tab aata agar suraj har bar jalta rahe. Abhi, iss waqt, aa... raat mein?" Getting up Captain Rajveer says, "bilkul nahi Dr. Mishra, jab suraj humse chup jata hai, to kuch der ke liye uski sachai bhi humse chup jati hai. Aur har waqt sachai ki aag mein jalne mein bhi to... koi maza nahi", then he continues with his work. Raising her brows Dr. Mishra says, "bada honest jawab dia apne".
