Hello my fellow Sosyians,

Wanted to share an exciting news with you all.. I became aunt for the third time I had a beautiful niece t yesterday around 9.30 pm..and GUESS WHAT my sister and BIL are naming her "MAANVI"

Enormous Iyer eyes & Trip to ISIS😳

"I didnt expect to see you here today" he express utter disbelief

"Actually I had enough work to be at the office" she admitted sheepishly

She offered her hand for a shake, he was surprised, he jumped up and grabbed it

"U have something on ur cheek" he said

She reached for her right cheek he said "Left" "Ur left" and she dabbed it with her
right hand, found a choc smeared on it "Niice" "Its about time I start bathing in this" she chuckled shaking her head

"He wanted us to come in for a lunch meeting" he said

She looked behind him to understand what "us" meant

"Oh! Mr Sehgal and Mr Bhattacharya are on their way"

"PHEW!!" she teased

He laughed relaxing and losing his nervousness

She led him to the formal living room, he didnt ask for her name she didnt ask for his...

"he is sick actually, Mr Bhalla, has a really high fever, he cant talk today" she made the decision for Dad
"Oh really? what happened?" he asked in panic

"We think its high fever, he has a cold he is unable to keep anything down" she explained

"I am sorry I should go then?"

"Oh no... lunch is ready you should atleast eat"

"Can I let the other two know they shouldnt bother?" he asked

"Oh no... if they are almost here, they can stay for lunch" she nodded "He probably didnt expect to be so sick so soon" she smiled softly

Mahavir brought unopened sodas and beer in a tray...

He opted for Kingfisher "Is this OK?" he waved tapped looking at her

"Oh ya" "Sure... Ofcourse" she nodded

Mahavir poured it out, he asked her what she would have, she shook her head sending her black bead jhumkas in a tizzy

He watched like he came by ONLY TO DO THAT

she stilled the one he stared at... MANUALLY

"He said yesterday's meeting didnt go well, I was on another case so I couldnt go to Spectrum" he admitted

"Oh?" II made a face "I didnt know" "Why did talks fail?" she asked worried

"The issues are muddied by various things, atleast how I see it" he smiled

"Oh?" she nodded

"Ya... they are all on a renewable 4 year contract, the last time it was renewed was in July 2011, it was after a umm...tragedy at Excelsior"

II was startled...

"Mr Bhalla's" he began

SHE KNEW WHAT IT WAS... she bowed her head knowingly, it was Savvy

"There was a clause that workers uptil that point would be paid Rs.22,000 a month, at 160
hours that works out to 132 a day over Rs.17 an hour, the ones hired after 2011 are being paid Rs. 15? Rs.16? an hour, totalling Rs.16,000 a month
parity is the biggest issue"

"Ya my survey shows the rules have not been followed across the board, in fact there is discrepancy between Gurgaon and Delhi showrooms" she explained

"there is disconnects in the profit sharing system too" he explained

"I found there was an issue with adding bays in Gurgaon workshop, in places that used to be "rest areas" on the shop floor and that is being seen as "More work for less pay" she said

He looked at her admiringly... she went up and brought back reports from what she had pulled together they discussed for over 30 minutes

Mahavir came in to say lunch was ready...

her husband wandered down, and found his wife poring over pages and pages of what seemed like union agreements from YEARS ago

Peaches looked up from his chair and smiled at Rakshasan, he wandered, Mahavir offered beer "sam Adams hai?" he asked

II turned when she heard his voice and smiled knowingly

"U want to give me grief?" his eyes asked his wife
She cleared her throat and looked back at the papers.

"Ur work is very organized he said, looking at a spiral bound notebook

"Well partially because Ive neverworked on a strike before" she said shyly

"If this is what "never worked" looks like I would be afraid when u turn into a pro"

She smiled fully

He sighed and leaned, drinking in the visual of those enormous Iyer eyes and the long slender neck, the black beaded jhumkas and the tiny speck of a bindi
"That smile and this report" "That is it" he cracked himself up

"U wish the union was that easy huh?" she asked

R&B wandered the lounge leaning on the patio door staring in watching the scene

"One can only hope"

"I dont think my report is in any way shape or form ready to be presented to Mr. Lohia (Union leader)" she said "and he is sick" "and the news crews wont leave the property"

"He employs so many people so everyone thinks they have a say in the matter" he smiled comfortingly

"Is this ur first labor unrest?" she asked

"YESSS" he said, as if it was his first mission to the ISS (Intll Space Station)

"Lawyers must have the gift of gab they say. Do u find yourself fitting in, u dont seem to be talking much" she asked curiously

"OH I DO... NOW I am not... ITS (because of) YOU (I find myself tongue tied)" he said😳

Her face turned crimson as dude straightened up from the doorway and approached her😈

Mr Sehgal and Mr Bhattacharya came by

When my sister said it, the very first thing that came to my mind was SOSY and I couldnt believe that SOSY will be with me for ever but at the same time I deeply missed Nivi too😭...

As I was reading the future wala updates , I couldnt help myself dreaming about my niece growing up and being exactly like our own Maanvi.. 😳..
