Khushi had ignore innumerable calls and messages from Arnav even after heart aching to see them. But today she cannot ignore him. After all it was their engagement. The mere thought of it made her extremely nervous as braking the alliance after engagement would be even more difficult.


" Why Devi Maiyya? When did I give you less Jalebis than that Khoonkar Laad Governor that you chose his side rather than mine? Is it good play with my feelings for the mistake of one night?" Khushi questioned her Devi Maiyya who smiled looking at her, " Yea Yea, keep smiling and I will even get married to him. Hey Bhagwan, why did I bend in front of him?"

" Aye Khushi, get ready, Beta. The ceremony would soon start." Garima called out to her, while Khushi sighed in despair as she eyed at the dress which arrived from the Raizadas for the ceremony.

Turquoise blue colored lehenga was waiting for her on her bed, but that color reminded on the night which she spent with Arnav, unknowingly and unintentionally.

--FLASHBACK--

A loud yelp escaped Khushi's lips while it deafened the ears of a certain Raizada who ended up on the ground due to the force with which she pushed him away from her.

" POLICE! POLICE! AH.." Khushi's shouts were shut at once as Arnav placed his rough palm over her mouth to effectively shut her mouth and stop her dramatic cries. To say that Arnav was bowled by her beauty, would surely be the greatest understatement.

Lost in the hazel orbs of hers, Arnav felt as if she was kissing his palms as she had not given up shouting.

" Shut up, girl. You are being too hard on ears." Arnav whispered in a husky voice which made shivers run across her spine. She turned looked aside as she feared getting lost in those pools which were staring at her.

She found her turquoise dress lying on the floor carelessly along with a shirt and pant, which was probably of the guy holding her against him right now.

In an unexpected move, Khushi pushed him over and picked up her dress from the floor to run into the washroom to change. And yet again, the Raizada had landed onto the floor, as he thought that he was falling so hard both in love and in reality.

--FLASHBACK ENDS--

Bringing herself out of those thoughts which made faint color run on her cheeks, Khushi picked her dress up to get ready. After all, there was no looking back now.

Evening,
Dil Se Dil Ki Sagai,

" Arre Yaar, why did they make me wear this stupid Sherwani? It is already so hot and this is making the temperature go even up." Arnav complained cutely while his friend Akash Singhania, who was next to him couldn't help but chuckle at his antics.

" Someone was becoming all romantic. Now bear the consequences. This is just the trailer, Bete. Picture Abhi Baaki Hai." Akash teased while Arnav smacked his arm in an irritated manner while Anjali joined them along with Khushi, who was not meeting Arnav's eyes.

At once every sign of irritation vanished from his face as if someone had used a magic trick for him. The surreal beauty which had enchanted him for the first time in turquoise was once again in the same color, looking more bewitching than ever.

" Akash, I think the solution for every rant of Chotte is Khushi Ji. See what a not-so ASR type sa dreamy look developed on his face. Maan Jaye, Khushi Ji. You have cast magic on our Chotte." Anjali smiled at Arnav trying to make his face straight while a slight chuckle escaped Khushi's lips seeing his weird expressions in the course.

Ah, here chuckle was making him ghayal directly on the heart. Romantic thoughts were never Arnav Singh Raizada's cup of tea till one day he woke up after falling oops being pushed from the bed by a beautiful angel, who had made him lose his sleep and thinking.

" Kuch Bhi, Di. I still don't understand the point of these elaborate rituals. Whats the point of making two people exchange rings? It will obviously not make their hearts connect like that song of Hum Aapke Hai Koun goes." Arnav stated as if stating the universal truth while Anjali hit his arm lightly.


"They say that the science behind making the to-be bride and bridegroom exchange rings is because of the fact that the vein to the heart is connected to the ring finger. So technically this ritual is to connect your hearts together for the coming seven births. So never say that these rituals don't have any meaning, understood Chotte?" Anjali explained to Arnav and Khushi, who were already getting the feeling of belonging to each other, as their hearts were connected through their eyes.

For others it was just admiration that they shared, but in reality it was much more than that. Khushi was not the one who admired anyone lightly. If she admired someone, it had to be deep and for Arnav, it was always love for Khushi. Though he was not completely in senses at the time, they made love that beautiful night, he still could feel his every cell craving and pining for her while his conscience told him that he had lost his heart as his eyes lingered on the sensuous figure which lied in his protective arms with absolutely no obstacles which would veil her beauty from his bedroom eyes.

With the engagement ceremony approaching in a few minutes, and the them realizing the actual reason behind this ritual, they were getting the restlessness, the increased heartbeat and breath which every couple faced at that time.

Trumpets seemed play in the background as Arnav's heart sang out ' I love you', the Rajshri's Maine Pyaar Kiya style to Khushi. A strong gust of wind started, as Arnav and Khushi grew oblivious to their surroundings, turned deaf ear to the words which Akash and Anjali voiced, and their sight blurred for everything except for each other.

For everyone marriage was the most sacred event of a person's life but for them engagement was far more memorable than any other event could be. Because they were going to take the first step towards their future, together.

While Khushi's heart wanted to be as close as possible to Arnav, there was some hindrance in her mind. After all, he made her sign an indecent deal with her, without opening up on his feelings.

My love for Rajshri is not unknown to any of you, I guess. I just love Rajshri Productions from childhood but it reached all new heights after I watched MRMRW, whose lead character Radha was ditto like me. MRMRW, Rajshri and Prem forever!
