First of all thank you so much for the long looong chapter.. Loved every bit of it. Kudos to maami for backing her nephew and great respect for Akash too.

Loved the way both Arnav and Khushi tried to converse and convey their stance regarding love and marriage in a subtle hidden way.. also the way he conveyed his dream to her privately without being very open about it. There's a lot more that I would like to say but I'm commenting while a batch of chicken is getting fried in the stove!!😳 😆 All in all It was a great update!!

I had made up my mind that I would not read this FF any longer because I hate long breaks in a FF. it irritates me, I loose the basic plot of the FF and cant connect because I have forgotten what happened in the earlier updates.

But waiting for a delayed flight, having nothing else to do, I decided I would read this when I saw it pop up in "My Last topics" and I am glad that I did

Though I don't remember much of what you had written earlier, I do remember the basic story and I do think this is probably the best update that you have written so far. The thoughts expressed about love vs marriage are so true and relevant.

The problem with new age kids is that they go into marriage with a view that it is something they can walk out of if something doesn't work too well.. and more often than not, it is not an earth shattering difference, nothing that cannot be worked on. It is just the lack of willingness to work on things and the willingness to chose the easy way out.

And while Akaash did make a very valid point about women not really having too many options in the olden times, having an option now doesn't mean that you use it without thinking.

Every relationship has its ups and downs, if both partners have a sense of commitment, most times they can be worked through. What cant be worked through is physical abuse and infidelity.

Interesting perspectives from Nani and Mami - role reversals in a manner of speaking. Made for very interesting reading. Manorma surprised me with her empathy, understanding and spirited support for Arnav. NAd in some sense so true of reality right - older people are more concerned about social mores, niceties and people's opinions etc a big barometer todetermine how they love their life.

Why has Arnav suddenly started to do his father's barsi as well?

Hope your AD is better and the next update is soon.
