I tried all the things on my kids when they were babies, my last resort was ipad, that too if they had not any meal in good 4-5 hours and I had failed in all my attempts. As a working mom then, it was not easy after 10 hours of being at work. U need to get done. I would do that on weekdays, never on the weekend. I fully agree on not using the gadgets.

"What does that mean?" he asked silkily inhaling her ear, (when she said u are way out of my league)
"That was my first bike ride... and first high school kiss, 10 years after high school" she whispered dodging his lips
He nibbled her jaw and lobe...

"whose bike is it?" she asked cautiously

He knew he had piqued her interest

"want to learn to ride?" he challenged

She stiffened as if she was giving it some thought...
"I might not be able to afford u" she answered

"U are too clever for ur own good" he said crushing her softly

"Ur school is beautiful, not one broken window" she pointed, leaning on him
He gently caressed her shoulders and arms...
"does every class have a digital board?" she asked

He nodded

"Did u all have ur own computers too?" she asked enviously

He didnt answer

"We doubled up... or three to 1" she said rubbing her ear on his chest...
He made everything simple and easy.. busting every prejudice she had
He didnt care she wore ugly salwar suits to school...

"Give me a tour?" she asked

He nodded, holding her close, walking up and down many hallways and corridors... they didnt insist on the rooms being open... they peeked through the glass

"Modern School kids are very stylish... some Vasant Vihar kids rode DTC buses... the girls shaved their legs starting 6th grade I think" she complained

"6th is down the hallway" he said softly

"the classrooms are so clean... just HOW MANY POSTERS on the walls? Did Ma volunteer?" she asked softly

He nodded, once many times twice a week" he smiled

"even during high school?" she asked

"I asked her to do it in another section" he chuckled

"Easy!! Mine was a tad difficult" II giggled

He smiled She leaned by the 6th grade classroom door

"U didnt want her near u when u were a teen"

He shook his head slowly

Her heart slammed against her chest as if she broke into school
She imagined him as a 5'6"? 5'8" teen... horrendously sexy... in the Modern "blues"
The way he must have felt up a girl... or the way the girl felt him up

She reached with her right hand and touched his open vee on his tee
Thumbing the curled hair...

"what did they want to touch first?" she asked

"I was too hairy, umm... am... so ya" he nodded

he was Bending down..."Stinker!!" she cursed , as his hand lifted her pendant pushing it to the side kissing her cleft. She gasped and pulled his hair
And... he took... pushing her hands away

He gently buttoned her up after he was done... they walked hand in hand

The 10th, the 11th and 12th grade class rooms... the labs

"did u like dissection?" she asked

"He shrugged
"I would smell chloroform walking by the bio lab, when I was in 8th grade and it would freak me out, it would remind me of Periappa's RML stay" she muttered
He smiled gently

"Science was not for me..." she declared.. "Well until I start doing Comp Sc at Grad School" "I dont know what I am good at any more... even if I am good at anything" she said sadly

He gently let his arm snake around her waist... and squeezed

"U could always grow tomatoes" he mocked

She punched him... "U only want me to stay home and grow stuff" she accused

There is lots of money in farming"

"THANKS... its all yours" she cursed

He half smiled

"Do u want to leave the helmet off? he offered

"No... I am too scared" she said

"What if we get a challan?" she asked

"Thats fine" he shrugged

He told her about the cafeteria and the kind of food they got, there were soda can dispensers and candy and chips dispensers like PVRs

"Did u get an allowance?" she asked startled

He nodded

"HOW MUCH?" she asked shocked

"Umm.. cant remember" he smiled

"I should have studied here... I was obsessed with Coke at one point... one time Amma refused to buy it for me I threw a fit and walked alone

He couldnt control his chuckle

"Amma told Appa promptly when he returned.. Appa scolded her for not buying it for me" II said smugly

He listened carefully

"amma said she will want one everyday, before getting on the DTC bus... how can I buy every day?
I wouldnt want rasna after getting home only Coke or pepsi, ONLY out of my very own can" II said sadly

"Did u have one with lunch everyday?" she asked

He nodded...

"SEE I WANTED THAT!!" she said angrily

"Khaana kya milta tha tumhe?" she asked

"Was Mahavir home? Probably not, he looks my age..." she asked

"No his Dad" he said

"Did the cafeteria serve fresh meals?" she asked

He nodded
"DARN IT... I could murder for chow mein" she said passionately

"Just one or multiple homicides?" he asked innocently
She glared "U just want me to end up in prison" she said hurt "So u can" she stopped

He gathered her securely... "Chinese and coke... what else would u committ crimes for?" he asked

"Not for u" she lied

They walked back to the lobby she read the message boards and honor rolls and pictures and sports trophies
He took pictures of her reading pausing on her solitaire on her nose.. now pink because he teased it so much

She read every board, every board

They walked out he handed the guards unimaginable amounts of money... and walked to the bike, he helped her get on, wrapping her arms around him

"we should go from town to town like MTV Roadies?" she laughed hysterically

"Or hike Europe" he said

"u just want to be away from humanity", she said crushing him, unwilling to let go

He bought her dinner at House of Ming at Taj Man Singh...

"I hope " she stopped
He paused midway in Taj's lobby

"U are being extra nice" she said nervously
He grabbed and hugged her mid way... she let him for a brief moment

"Feeding u is being extra nice?" he muttered

"Feeding me CHINESE is" she muttered
He smiled his chin on top of her head

They walked to House of Ming and were seated

she went to wash up.. and returned, he returned a min after
First he was sitting across now he sat by her

"Are u leaving tomorrow?" she asked her eyes as big as saucers

He shook his head

"Pinne?" (what else?) he asked

He held her hand

"U want my side of the bed" she giggled between tears

"U need to stop crying" he ordered huskily

"WHY?" Does it make it harder for u? Huh?" she asked between sobs

He handed her the marroon cloth napkin

"Weve been through this a million times already II " he begged

"Ive told u a trillion times I dont care for it " she pointed (Dont care for ur plan to leave me alone here)

"I cant"

"U cant work here... u cant work from home, u cant go for a week every month or other month, everything HAS to be done in Paris" she ranted

"Enough" he ordered

They both were quiet, he ordered her food

"I just want water" she said after the waiter left

"Dont drink too much.. uve already soaked one napkin"

"shut up u jerk" she said grabbing his arm and leaning on him

"Promise to listen first... please?" he begged

"I wont" she said defiantly

"can u come later this month?" he asked

She shook her head crying

Her possessiveness startled him, she was making it close to impossible for him to leave
He had meetings lined up all of next week, he was even going back to Geneva

"I am sorry for the company losses, but why should I" (live without my husband?) she swallowed the last part

"Lets eat first go home and begin talking, we will most likely come to blows" he said cynically

"Ya its all the Iyer's fault" she baited him

"shhh" he ordered as her food arrived

His was some shrimp thing
He drank his wine quietly... he ordered TWO COKES for her

She half smiled😳

arey and thats the reason our hottie was so attracted towards her. its her innocence, not found in the women he has known previously.. M for instance all she did was spend his money.. II is smart,ambitious, caring, loving, passionate and most of all untouched by guile and dishonesty.

the pranks she pulls, the tantrums she throws (BTW i just died when she said she will hide his suitcases.. no wonder he's crazy about her) have made the dude fall for her HOOK LINE and SINKER.. just that the idiot is too cautious to acknowledge this even to himself! darpok!

I was hoping for THREE MINIATURE VERSIONS OF II, 48 inches tall, 36 inches and 52 inches
All dressed in identical Kanjeevaram lehangas dark pink with royal blue border, a royal blue puffed sleeve blouse...each sporting a long Iyer braid 😳 Big kohl lined eyes... and a longish Iyengar bindi they were slim long teekas to glorify Vishnu, and gold jhumkas in their ears

Running up and down the stairs... hurriedly... "amma Appa says u have to come find his car keys"

"Oh! No... podi!! Ur Appa is the emporor of lazy dont cultivate that habit for him"

"Amma Appa says he can drive us to paattu mami's house (music teacher) only if u find his keys"

I was hoping for traditional Sanskrit names for all three

The youngest being a boy clingy wrapped around II's legs, a book worm... a experiment nut

Asking him to tie their shampooed hair... or asking him to pin jasmine strings

Taking off their tiny colorful plastic bangles (these are available outside every temple in Tamil Nadu) everywhere and R&B collecting them all and arranging them in stacks by size in their bathroom😳
