Inviting/asking/telling

He was gone when she woke, he wasnt even home... she showered got ready, went down for breakfast Manny and Vik were eating a BIG one watching news in the kitchen on the giant flat screen TV

"I feel terrible when I see u going to work and me having a good time" she giggled

"U shudnt coz if I were enrolled in Ph D i wudnt make it past month 6 six" II said cheerfully

"Its not as hard as it seems" Manny smiled, pushing an empty place setting towards her

She sat down shuddering what she was going to find for break fast

Thankfully there was poha, her lunch was packed too

Mahavir mentioned there was paneer last nite and baingan so she got both for lunch

"U dont like to eat out?' Manny asked

"He makes food better than any restaurant" she pointed to Mahavir
The guy gave her a pearly smile... "Sir to hame chef banaye diye hain" he smiled

"Aap ho bhayya" she said softly

"Ranjan Sir.. bahut tareef kare hain, par R&B sir to kuch kahte ki nahi... bus muskuraa dete hain kayi baar" he told her

"THANKS! VERY MUCH

"Bus woh aap apni tareef samajh lena, main kar doongi aapki tareef" she smiled

He brought filter coffee

"Are u close to discovering what u were going to?" II asked hesitantly

"We'll see" Manny said diplomatically

"I would be old bald and grey you are way ahead of me" II smiled

"I am all grey underneath the hair color" Vik chuckled

II smiled nervously

"I will get there too if we dont deploy fast enough" she reassured him

"Do u like what u do?" Manny asked

"I love it... I dont know if I am good at it, but I love it" she said somberly in her new found honesty

"Will u keep working?" she asked

"I hope to" she said

"Most women in Jor Bagh Golf Links Cpuri area quit after a year or two, they just spend their husband's money"

"I dont get time to spend mine" she lied

"Ur Mom is still working too nahi..." Manny asked

II nodded

"all Iyer women are in the workforce... I feel unemployed now"

"In this heat?" II asked making a face

"I cant stand the heat... I am not sure how u guys live here"

"Ive lived here all my life" II muttered somberly

"R&B hates it" Manny supplied

"Hmm" II ack

"Vik looked up from the ipad... "Hai kidhar kunwar sahab?"

"He told us" she smacked him

"Uhh" II looked curiously

"When he comes back Thursday we will get to see him before we go" Manny said

II wondered WHERE he was
She went up to pick her purse up and she found her phone

"I have to be in Pune" he had texted at 6:06 AM

"Thanks" she responded
THAT WAS IT...

Tuesday nite was blah, Wed nite was awful...Thursday atrocious...☺️ she missed him like crazy😳

Work was great BTW, Ashwini and her did a "tour" for Ranjan's Spectrum IT guys to show them how great GHZBD and Dilshad Garden was...
They actually had TWO SOLID green bars for the first time in 6 months...
They stopped at NOIDA More and at some random juice shop and had mango shake to celebrate
In the 44C heat it felt heavenly

They had a second one... freezing their insides...

Amma called and she told her, and she got a massive scolding

"WHAT IS THIS ISHITA. ARE U 10? Its SO hot u are wandering in the sun and having something so cold"

"Amma I AM SO HAPPY TODAY. " Ii was frustrated
"U are in trans yamuna, u dont even know if its a good place"

"amma we had to wait 22 minutes to get our juice, it costs Rs 118, poruma, its not cheap!!" II shot back

"Ayyo PODI... panra tappayum pannittu oru nondi saaku vera" (u do a mistake and then offer an excuse)

"Amma I am not going to let u ruin my happiness..." II giggled

Autos and buses honked behind her

"Did u go in an auto?" Amma mocked

"Ayyo ille ma... my window wont shut all the way up on the passenger side so mamanar thitti vera car kuduthar" (FIL ordered me to take another car)

"Its a new car Ishita what did u do?"
"Ayyo Amma what do u think its a sports car or what? WHY will I slide the window down for no reason, anda Rakshasan pannirpaan" (the devil must have done it)

"ayyoyo are u u saying ur husband did it?"

"Chhee po ma... I meant Shravu" II said angrily

"How is he?"

"Must be good, he is not in town"

"Where did he go? Paris?" Amma voiced her biggest fear

"Unless they renamed Pune that" II muttered

"Go home raja its almost 6 SO HOT..."Amm ordered

"Amma Ashwini is with me humans live here (in trans yamuna so quit being melodramatic)" she mocked

"Edu seruppa, oda vizhum" (I will smack u), u are a newly married girl u must be all dainty and shy" (Amma mocked)

"Appo I shud wear madisaar and stay at home?"

"Thats a start" Amma mocked

"Amma when are the CBSE results? I want to know the kid I graded is a topper or not

"Monday di"

"Uh ho"

"Hey kanna can u and him come over tomorrow? Appa has a Finance Ministry celebration of some sort for
all employees at India Habitat Center at 8? "

"YES YES YES YES YES... what is Appa buying for me?"

"Eda eduthalum onakku gift ellam kedayadu di podi" (U cant get a gift for everything)

"Amma u used the word CELEBRATION. that means Ishita gets a treat" II yelled

All the people at the juice shop listen with renewed enthusiasm😆

"I told Appa u will sing" Amma said smugly

"PO MA I WONT... WHY SHUD I ALWAYS SING? I am a married woman now" II hissed

"Auntyjee keh rahi hai to ga lo madam" the juice wala offered unsolicited advice🤣

"Seri kadaila ninnindu panchayat pannade go home and call me, I asked Mrs Iyengar to call you (paatu mami) she will help u pick the kritis"

She was hopping mad... they finsihed up she dropped Ashwini off and got home after 8... Amma called followed by teacher, and then a con call with the three deciding the kritis...

NO SIGN OF HUSBAND😡😭

She texted him

"I am going to Appa's Finance Ministry celebration at IHC?" she texted

"Inviting/asking/telling?" he asked bitingly, noticing the question mark at the end

"what do u think?" she sparred unafraid

"Telling" he goaded

"Accurate" searing

Ufff too much fighting
It's already hot in delhi
And their fighting it's just adding more heat .come on kids relent and b happy

Advise from married person like me who
still fight even now after all these yrs of marriage lol
Fighting keep the spice in life but too much not good for digestion can give ulcers 😆

Oh Oh, still fighting, but the sharp edges have blunted a bit, but I love their text sparring.

ayyo, I have prepare breakfast, hubs leaving in 15min, but i just couldn't wait to find out whats happening in SoSy land, will be back after sending him off.

I was here last night for a while but you were missing. 😭 I got quite a bit of advice from Anu, Asma, and Shev. 😊

Weekend was packed with the annual family BBQ and tons of little girlies upturning all the makeup, earrings, bangles, and clothes in my room as they played dress up. 😡 I spent all of today cleaning that mess and getting periodic ultimatums from ma about deadlines for wedding planning...

"June end tak invitations ho jaane chahiye Nivi!"

"Venue ka kya decide kiya tum dono ne? Parson tak batao beta!"

"Kab India jaane ke tickets book karein?"

"Tu kitne din ki chhuti le gi?"

And I'm just thinking ki job to abhi tak mili nahin, lekin us se pehle chhuti ka batadoon. 😕

Meanwhile, he fell asleep in the middle of our Skype conversation last night after working a continuous 24 hour shift. I felt so bad for pestering him with all these stupid things when he was so tired. 😭

The fight is still on. Now it is switched messages. I think dude will go with her. I trust he is already home. She can't stay away for 2 days from him. How she will react if goes to Paris for 2 weeks?
Hmm I want know how they make out of their fight.

Please give one more Nisha if you are not tired. This will make us restless whole day😔
