Vandu bala display the typical mom dad relationship
When gamma scholds appa sides us supports us and fights with gamma
When appa scholds is its viseversa
In the early updates when vandu would complain regarding shrabu bala would side him...say he is a kid
I remember reading one or two such circumstances
So I loved the updates
I loved the fact that he went and got the ice cream for her as soon as he noticed they ran out of the ice cream
The cuteness with which the ice cream conversation happened was so good
Natural but rare

Nisha story mein all awesome men are taken
I'm deeply jealous of the three lovely ladies

I've also started to notice the small meaningful gestures the couples tend to show to their partners around me
Its so cute and I'm so happy for all of them
I've also started looking for reason behind ppl's behaviours...I don't get upset with ppl who show their frustrations on me anymore...no its not a permanent change I get irritated if pushed a lot but atleast I think once before giving it back to them

The updates have been emotional rollercoaster rides. Simply brilliant writing Nisha. I read the updates in the morning and saw everybody were in the same boat as me. Remembering why for a girl her father is a hero.

I just sat simply for half an hour, just replaying so many incidents of my life. How our parents have given us such a good life in the meagre salary that my dad was getting. Now we earn in lakhs per month, and our children dont understand the value of money. 1000 bucks is nothing to them.

We can write pages and pages...but yeah good parents are the main blessing that we get from God.

Poor Bala...really felt for him. He is envious of Dude...but Dude has his own problems.

Just like in real life, we see some couple being all lovey and no fights in their home and think why cant we be like that, but that wont really be the case.

U R just outdoing ur self Nisha...each update is special.

Vani----Get well soon. and as we age we shld find happiness in the simple things in our life. Both u and ur parents are lucky to have each other.

So waiting to see BIL nd SIL bonding. II does not hold any grudges, she herself is such a child, i am sure as soon as she sees her Bala athim, she will run to him. She shares very strong bond with Akka and athim.

Regarding the past 3 updates kya boloon Nisha tumhare pair kahan hai... just looovely!!!!!
I relived my childhood and realized how much i take food for granted in US.
I remember i always ate 1 forth of a five star my mom got me GEMS while preparing for exams and we ate icecreams max once or twice a year and to this day i feel the butterscotch or cassatta i ate tasted better than anything i eat now..
when u dont get something in abundance u value it more..

Bala has gone up 1000 ..notches because he atleast realized he was not right ...that only .00001% of men will do 👏👏sooo sweet
and I am sooo sorry Bala i put u in the same bracket as Meany Manny 😭
you are as adorable as ur son,ur wife, ur mom,ur dad ur apartment ..
tough a erukku very soon things will change u will get that promotion money comes and goes da kanna feel like calling you one, here is biiig 🤗
cause u are amazing just the way you are.. aur II toh teri beti hai royegi and all will be fine and she will go back to my Athim bestest and make R&B jealous..👏

Caught Part 2 and the Ac wala update.

So heartwarming. Isn't this how real life works. You can make anything work if you focus on the right things!

Waiting for the day to dawn for you Nisha and for the sisters to meet at MM.

Looks like RnB was spot on when he said that Bala had lashed and insisted things would be ok again. II has seen luxury at MM and RnB and she has still managed to stay true to herself - her values, upbringing and her lifestyle. I love it that she agonises when she gets a barb or thinks she is talked down but does not change herself to suit others 👏👏. But she does reach out emotionally to people around her. Ikat for Manny was one such nahi?

RnB looks all sorted and independent. He is gives us the feeling that he is direct - he is. But can't see yet how self absorbed he is although he has now made space for his wife in many ways 😳.

I can see the Iyer family bringing retrospection to RnB will they? He will have to see how the sisters bond, how the family bands together and importantly how they confront disappointment - be it Shravu or Bala or Vandu. I know they have nowhere to run but they DONT sweep it under the carpet.

I loved the way you made Bala try sincerely to make amends. Vandu NOT being provocative like her sibling would and the couple finding middle ground.

❤️ I love the how you lay out things from everyone's perspective and never go overboard.

I went over to a friends place today. Both of us tried to discover the joy of homemade frozen yoghurt inaugurating her ice cream machine while the men and kids went golfing in the hot sun😡. We cracked mango ice cream for the kids and froyo for us 😊. Her 65 year old mother in law walked in on us. I commented on how we needed little sugar we needed for homemade stuff. Haan beta ' jab saman apne ( fresh, homemade) ho to additives ki kya zaroorat hai" . I think she was talking of SoSY. Fresh and Real so you need no additives to enhance. Blows your readers minds with connects that people make along the way!!

And stirs them all enough to make them take the time out and share it.
