The perfect mistress - Victoria Alexander. The name is quite a misnomer though. Book is turning out to be pretty funny

but vandu wants shravu to have ipad...she partly blames herself that they were not able to get an ipad for him...athunala than she is not scolding him...

Nice explanation Swathi. I never considered this perspective. I think it's really unique how we all can connect to different aspects of the story given the different walks and phases of life that we are in. 😊

Soo true Shevani and Swathi!!! Ipad ki bachche ko kya zarurat?? Gadgets are childhood's biggest dushmans I feel... Aajkal bachche bahar khelte hi nahi... Ipad, ps3, wii n inn sab se mann bhara toh TV cartoons.. Humko sunday ke alawa kisi din tv dekhne ko bhi nahi milta tha... N wo bhi 8-2pm... Thats it... Lunch done, matlab gadget band... Uske baad hafte bhar news suno DD par(yes!! fortunately had no cable until 10th-11th) dinner time... Thats all!! I think my sister n I turned out decent even without all those gadgets! Shaam ko 2 hours playing time milta tha right uptil 12th😳

N then to see Nandu having the world at his disposal might go two ways... Ya toh Nandu wont really care about these luxuries much n be a nice level headed kid, n Shravu seeing Nandu unaffected might learn good things... Or might start getting jealous about the whole thing! I remember in school, jo wealthy family se aate the unki bags/stationary n tiffin dekh kar hum kitna taraste the!! N parents ko bola toh thry used to get dukhi!!😭
