"You were looking beautiful today." said rey caressing her cheek. Taani immediately looked up . They both were lost in each other's eyes but it was broken by taani's phone and it was showing swayam calling.Taani left the room blushing and rey stood their thinking about what happened few minutes ago and unknowingly he was blushing too.

"Hello swayam!"
"Hey taani! You are ok na? Koi problem toh nahi hai na? Rey thik se dekh raha hai na tumhe? " swayam bombarded her with questions.
"Easy swayam, easy. I am totally fine. Don't worry." assured taani.
"Thank god you are ok" swayam sighed in relief.
"I need to tell you something swayam".
"Yup say. "
"Actually uncle and aunty want me to stay here for a week. " said taani while biting her lower lip in nervousness.
"Taani,If you are ok with it. Then I have no problem. Bas you take care. " answered swayam.
"I'll swayam." replied taani. "If you weren't here what would have happened with me" continued taani dramatically.
"such a drama queen you are taani. " chuckled swayam seeing her best friend's craziness.
"Acha chalo bye. I need to go." Said taani.
"Acha bachu, Ab tumhara pyaar paas hai toh apne bestie ko bhul jaogi na. Samaj gaya mai taani samaj gaya. " answered swayam teasingly .
"Stop it swayam. " she blushed slightly.
" Ok ok.. Biee take care. " said swayam hung Up the phone.

All were seated in hall and were chatting.
"Taani beta,You are comfortable here na. " asked mr. singhania.
"ji Uncle, Rey is taking care of all my needs" replied taani.
" Hmmm why won't he" winked mrs. singhania.
"Mom." nudged rey.
Taani blushed understanding the hidden meaning behind the words of Rey's mom..
"Ok you guys carry on I will go and prepare dinner." said mrs. singhania.
Rey and his father nodded in agreement.
" Aunty I am there na I will prepare" stopped taani
.
"You?" asked all of them shockingly .
"Haan me." replied taani confusingly.
"wo...wo actually sorry we mean you know to cook?"
justified mr. Singhania.
"Yes Uncle I know how to cook
." replied taani.
"really that's good to hear beta. Many girls now a days don't even know how to boil water." said mrs. singhania chuckling.
"oh actually aunty I love cooking." taani smiled widely. "Today you are going to taste the food prepared by ur Daughter in law ." continued taani and winked at them.
Taani moved to kitchen making Singhania's to drop their jaws.
" Rey don't u know that Taani knows to cook" mrs. singhania asked raising her eyebrow.
REY looked at his parents' who was staring at him as if they are seeing an alien; Rey gave an awkward smile not knowing what to say. Gulped deeply smiling sheepishly .
" Actually Mom I... I know...Haan I know that she cooks well" he
Cursed himself for another lie
"if I am not wrong u too were surprised when Taani said she know to cook" joined mr.singhania too.
Mrs. singhania nodded her head in agreement.
" No.. wo wo I mean I was not surprised or confused either" said rey stammering.
" But..." said mr. singhania but was interrupted by rey.
"Dad I have important call to attend" said rey and hurriedly went from there. (he moved)
"Rey...Rey" shouted mrs. singhania from behind. "Something is fishy" continued mrs. singhania.

Rey and mr.singhania were watching tv and mrs.singhania was doing some household work.
" Aunty for dinner I am preparing allu parata, side dish dal, little rice. Anything else?
"asked taani from kitchen
"This is more than enough beta
" answered mrs. singhania.
"ji aunty

" called mrs. singhania.
"Haan aunty

"add Rey's favourite sweet too. I hope you know about Rey's fav dish" said mrs. singhania and left from there.
Taani and Rey gave a surprised look because she doesn't know about his favourite sweet. TaaRey exchanged helpless look.
IN KITCHEN

While she was engrossed in her thoughts someone touched her shoulder from behind. Taani who was startled ,jumped from her place and was about to shout when Rey closed her mouth resulting her back hit on kitchen slab along with her. They were inches away from each other, still his hand on her mouth. Sensing his proximity her breathing got irregular. Taani was staring at him
"Shhh... (turning and looking back at door) its me. I know u don't know what I like I came to say that, Kheer is my fav sweet." answered rey and turned and looked at her who was staring at him, he himself got lost in her eyes.Then they heard rey's mom phone ring
"Mom here?" said rey in a low voice. "God if she see me here that's all. Already she doubts on us. What to do what to do. Taani say something na" continued rey.
" hmmm hmmm"
" What" asked rey confusingly.
Taani by sign showed that still his hand was on her mouth
" Oops sorry" said rey removing his hands.
" Hide somewhere" said taani panicking.
"Yup that sounds great, but where?" asked rey again.
TaaRey looked here and there to hide
"Rey here" said taani pointing beside fridge.
" here? How..."
before he could complete,taani pushed him
" No time to argue move inside na ..."
"Ouch" winced rey as he got hurt.
"Oh know.. sorr.. " before she could complete.
" Taani beta do you need any help?" asked mrs. singhania entering into kitchen.
"No no
" said taani getting scared.
"NO?
"
" I mean I can manage " said taani faking a smile.
REY laughed seeing her.
"Its ok beta I will help you in cutting vegetables" said mrs. singhania and started cutting vegetables sitting on table which was little for away from fridge. Taani was kneading dough.
Taani was clearly visible for rey.Her free hair were playing and were falling on her face.She tried to remove that strand from her face resulting flour stickon on her cheeks. Rey smiled seeing her cute antics.
After sometime Mrs. singhania left from there .
"Rey you ok. I am sorry. Really very very sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. Sorry rey. " taani was murmuring while checking rey's wound.
"Ssshhh... kitna bolti ho" said rey by putting his finger on her lips.
Taani was just blinking looking at him.
"I am fine. Don't worry " said rey and removed the floor and caressed her cheeks .
