Future building..it would be very difficult for them to start afresh.
Does this mean there are no zombies left and the remaining population are free from the virus. If yes, then it's good...now to move forward they need energy ,fuel and enough food to sustain. We have enjoyed this along with you and please do not put an abrupt plug on this..

It's sad that only 1% of population is left. But glad that they are positive about future.
I love this Payal. It seems like in her own innocent way she find solution for every one.Good that they are collecting things to rebuild. Books are needed for future generations to know about past. They should preserve what ever they could.Hey are you stopping this story just because there are not enough readers or you don't want to.But if this what you want then I am fine with it. Just finish this story. Please don't leave unfinished.I enjoy this story and you are a brilliant writer. Just keep writing in future also.

Payal does not say much because she is the dreamer and escapist living in her own world mentally. she embodies hope to me and I am guessing it is probably because she has nearly died at her own hand. Is she going to be their philosophical guide who will spit out the ideas and let the team manage the implementation? Arnav and Kushi are already hard at work collecting the info that have been lost and realize that their current fuel will be gone soon so planning and looking for alternate sources before depletion is going to help in survival. Are they going to stay at the base then?
Their assumption at this point is that there is enough resource in a military base; a compound surrounding the place, ammunition if necessary, military vehicles and access to radio that gives access to rest of the world - as much as possible. Will they stay? Maybe at this point.Btw, I meant to reply to the planned parenthood discussion but got sick in the middle of March break madness. I don't know what it is like in India but where I live, there are subsidized nurseries monitored by government agencies and year long parental leaves because this country's population is only growing due to immigration not procreation. For me, from my personal experiences, I feel we are leaving the decision to start the family too late in life when you already have enough stress and then the stress goes way up due to not being able to conceive right away. I am telling you fertility clinics is a booming business in this country because people are trying to have kids in theIr 40s. I understand the need to be mentally and fiscally ready but I just feels we might be leaving ourselves fewer chances at having children. I have watched too many couples struggle with this issue personally. That is my 2 cents on that topic. One last comment on the idea of only being in this world to procreate. I think the ratio of man to woman in this story is in favour of the man so I feel for these sisters. However, there is not much choice is there? It is survival and what's the use of fighting to stay alive if there will be no one to keep the species alive for future generations? Having said that, I would hate to be considered as a baby making factory. I wonder what Eve felt like? But then there was only one man for her and she did not know any better . . .(rambling again)
No, there isn't much choice. I still don't know if choice is important in a time like this.Authorjii, please don't stop because these are real brain teasers and my grey cells are forever grateful to you. However if it does not give you any satisfaction writing this, then go ahead my friend because I keep telling my kids enjoy what you do or don't do it. However do finish yeah? Even if the zombies take over in the end . . . .

You already know but I will still reiterate - I thoroughly enjoy your 100 words-a-day, the simple yet far from simplistic writing, this thread which I have come to stalk every morning, and every chapter (+ following discussions)...it has given me much food for thought. Thank you, Green Tea! :=)"Now, we rebuild" - there is much conviction in those three words. ⭐️ This will be my most favorite line - gives me goosebumps.
