Recap-I turned around to see Rajveer sir putting red color on my cheeks and a smile plying on his lips. I was shock beyond word and the shock just increased when he said "Happy Holi to you too, Cadet Naina Ah Singh" It was barley a wisher, but I heard it, very clearly.

Chapter 7

I stood there, my mouth open, my eyes wide with shock and surprise and tears of happiness forming in them.

"Close u r mouth cadt, othwise bug will fli in." He stuttered uncomfortably in a mere whisper, that seemed impossible to hear, but I did. I heard loud and clear. I got up from my chair, and rushed outside, where everyone standing, waiting for me to finish talking to Rajveer sir. As soon as they saw me they bombed me with questions.

"Cadet what happen?"

"Naina are you ok?"

"Naina who put that color on you"

I wanted to scream, I wanted to shout that Rajveer sir gained conscious but all I managed to say was "Captain Rajveer...Conscious," before I rushed back in with the entire gang following me.

As soon as they saw Captain Rajveer, with his eyes open and staring into space, they froze in spot. I saw tears forming in all their eyes and falling down to their cheeks. "Chauhan saab, How r you?" Captain Rajveer inquired, as if it was Captain Abhimanyu who was in coma, instead of him.

As soon as those words left Rajveer sir's mouth, Captain Abhimanyu rushed and embraced his best friend in a tight and heartbreak hug. After a minute or he released captain Rajveer, and by that time both of their eyes were moist.

"Raj, You, you are ok?" He asked, or rather stated, trying to convince himself that he was not going to lose his best friend once again.

I stood at the door way, watching the scene unfold in front of my eyes. Every single one of my friend were hugging him and talking to him, but his eyes only held my eyes. Memories flashed through my mind as I saw his deep drown eyes filled with love. I forgot everything around me, and the only thing I could see was that deep brown pair of eyes staring at my eyes. Eyes that told me everything I needed to know. Eyes that finished saying, what they had started before the dreadful accident.

"Please come. This way doctor" Colonel Chandra said, as he walked in the room with a doctor, braking me from my daydream. The doctor walked up to Rajveer Sir and checked his pulse, BP, eyes and much more. After about twenty minutes of checking the doctor got up from the chair.

"You are lucky Captain. We had not expected you to comeback, especially after all the blood loss, but you did. This is nothing less than a miracle. A true miracle." The doctor said.

"Doctor, someone was expecting me to return. Someone was prying day and night for my safety. How could I ever disappoint someone who has done so much for me?" Captain Rajveer replied looking directly at me. I began to feel heat crawl up my neck to my cheek. Pooja, who was standing next to me, nudged me with her elbow and winked, making me blush even deeper.

"Yes indeed. Someone must really love you to make you bring you back from the mouth of death." The Doctor said with a smile.

"I certainly hope so." Captain Rajveer said.

"So doctor, Is Rajveer sir ok? I mean is he Stable?" I questioned to stop the conversation to save myself from further embarrassment.

"Yes, he is stable but weak. A couple of weeks' worth of bed rest and he should be up and running" The doctor answered while writing something in his little pad. After a while he tore the page and handed it the Captain Abhimanyu.

"Give this medicine to him twice a day, and make sure that he doesn't skip any dose as that can lead him going back to coma." The doctor ordered.

"Don't worry doc, we will make sure Raj is taken care of" Abhimanyu sir reassured him.

"Ok than I will take your leave." The doctor said picking up his suitcase. He exited the room with Ali following him to drop him off.

"I think we should stepped out for a while?" Alkeh said and left, with the rest of the gang following him on his tail.

Now it was just Rajveer sir and me in the room. I slowly walked to the chair next to his bed and sat down. A few minutes passed, but neither one of us said anything. We just looked at each other, unable to believe that faith has given us another chance. A few more second and Captain Rajveer sir ran his hand across my cheeks wiping my tears and giving me goose bumps at the same time.

"My Cadet Naina's Nina (Eyes) doesn't look good with tears. Smile" He said making. I don't know why, but I thought of something mischievous.

"Only if you promise to take me to Point 1857 again." I said and shock crossed Rajveer sir's face.

"Cadet what..? He began to say but I cut him off. "That is the only way I will promise to not cry and smile" I said stubbornly.

"Cadet Singh nothing has changed. You are still the same stubborn girl, aren't you?" He joked. I took a heavy dramatic sight and said "Why can I do. I learned from the stubborn mentor I got. Now I could only learn, learn I was shown. I than changed my tone from serious to strict. "Now promise me you will take me to Point 1857...again" I said putting my hand forward. Rajveer sir looked at my hand and slowly placed his hands on top of my. I shiver ran through my spine and I felt goosebumps on every single part of my skin, just from that one touch.

"Promise" He whispered looking into my eyes. Our moment was broken by the opening of the door. I quickly slid my hand away from Rajveer sir's and looked toward the door to see a grinning Alekh standing at the door.

"We have to go, otherwise BC will kill us" he said, winking.

Immediately got up and exited the door, but not before looking at once more at Rajveer sir. I heard Alekh's laughter and footsteps as he walked behind me.

Going back to KMA my happiness knew no bound. I knew that Rajveer sir's and my relationship was at a different level now. I could sense that the air around me, around us, has changed. A wide grin like smile was attached to my face, earning me a stare from everyone in the academy, but I didn't care as today was the best day and the best Holi of my life.

Hey everybody. Sorry for the late update, but I am literary berried with school work. I know this is not much but, it is all I can do with the timing.
