Episode 7: Crashing the Wedding

It was a stormy night at Sector Raat in the dark tower. And in this same tower, Prince Vikesh was waiting in his throne, rolling a dice in his hand. A servant then came towards Vikesh. "Where is she?!" Vikesh asked the servant in a shouting tone. "The men should have gotten her already!"

"Sire, we are waiting."
"I am not a patient man! Don't know why I hired such morons!"

At that moment, the doors of the room opened as three men came inside, taking Sanaya into the room. "Let go of me!" Sanaya shouted at the men as they took her towards Prince Vikesh. "Leave her." Prince Vikesh ordered the men. The men then dropped Sanaya to the ground before Prince Vikesh as he sat in his throne, smirking at the sight of Sanaya. Sanaya looked up, shocked to see Prince Vikesh. He got up from his throne and slowly walked towards Sanaya, while Sanaya got up, trying to back away. She tried to look away as Prince Vikesh looked at her from head to toe. "Perfect," Prince Vikesh said. "Still the same beauty as I remember."

"Shut up! What do you want with me?!"
"Give me some respect."
"Why should I show you respect?! You're the one who has brought me here by force!"
"True. But one must always respect their future husband."
"What?!"
"Oh...my apologies. I have decided...as future ruler of Sector Raat, I can't become king without a queen by my side. So consider it your lucky day."

Sanaya gave an appalled look on her face. "Assemble every worker in the tower," Prince Vikesh ordered the servant. "By tomorrow evening, Sanaya shall be my newly wedded wife. I want the arrangements to be first class and all the royal guests from other sectors in attendance. Everything must happen without fail."

"Yes, sire." the servant nodded.
"What?! Me marry you?! You can't do this!" Sanaya yelled.
"I can and I will," Prince Vikesh retorted. "Men, take her to her room and make sure she stays there!"

The men grabbed hold of Sanaya, dragging her out of the room into the hall as she pleaded to be freed. But the men didn't listen to her. They took her to a bedroom in the hall, throwing her inside, and locking the door from the outside. Sanaya banged on the door, shouting, "Open this door! I won't marry him! Let me out!" But no one listened to her. She turned her back towards the door, shedding tears in despair. "Where are you guys?" Sanaya asked.

"I see. So Sanaya has been kidnapped?" Master Suri asked. In the chamber of Master Suri's tower, Sagar, Bhoomi, Krish, Chaya, and Roshan had come to tell Master Suri everything that had happened. "Those three men with the shards took her away," Bhoomi replied. "And we don't even know why!"

"They must know her otherwise they wouldn't take her at random." Chaya said.
"Chaya's right," Sagar agreed. "Those shards can wait. We have to find her first."
"You must know where she is!" Roshan exclaimed.
"That's right. You have your little crystal ball thingy!" Krish pointed out.
"Its not a crystal ball," Master Suri rolled his eyes. He tapped the glass ball on his desk as it gave off a silver colored glow. Within it, emerged an image of the tower in Sector Raat. Master Suri looked stunned. "This must be what I feared."

"What? What is that place?" Chaya asked.
"This is the dark tower of Sector Raat. Prince Vikesh lives there," Master Suri replied. "My fear has become a reality then."
"Who is Prince Vikesh?" Sagar inquired.
"I should have warned you all earlier. But I didn't pay heed," Master Suri said. "When all the prism shards were stolen, the indigo shard was stolen as well. And I'm sure...Vikesh has it."
"How can you be so sure?" Bhoomi asked.
"Because he is the one who owns it. That's right...he is part of the Spectrum." Master Suri answered.

There was a moment of silence among the others. "If he's a member of the Spectrum, then how come he hasn't joined the team?" Krish asked.

"He's different from the rest of you. While the rest of you are collecting shards to retain the unity of this world, he wants them for his own greed and power. He is a royal heritage. After all, he is a descendant of the Janwaar Clan," Master Suri explained. "Because of that, Sanaya and him know each other. And I am sure he is behind Sanaya's kidnapping."
"This makes things even worse!" Roshan exclaimed. "Why would he want to kidnap her though?!"
"Because...as the prince of Sector Raat, he is supposed to be coronated as the new king. That can only happen by tomorrow. And it can only happen if he is a married man," Master Suri responded. "That can only mean one thing."
"Then...that means he's planning on marrying Sanaya!" Bhoomi cried.
"MARRYING?!" Roshan screamed. "HE'S GOING TO MARRY HER?!"
"Are you sure the marriage will take place tomorrow evening?" Sagar asked Master Suri.
"Yes. The time for coronation is set prior to midnight. That means...you have until then to rescue Sanaya." Master Suri replied.
"Well then! It looks like we're going to Sector Raat!" Krish exclaimed. "I hope they have food at the wedding!"

Chaya smacked Krish on the back of his head, making him fall to the ground with a thud. "Must you say such idiotic things at a time like this." Chaya said in an annoyed tone.

The next day, in the morning, Sagar, Bhoomi, Krish, Chaya, and Roshan had gone off to Sector Raat. Chaya was leading everyone there by the use of her energy disc. "How much longer till we get there?!" Krish asked, complaining to Chaya.

"We'd get there faster if you would shut up!"Chaya retorted.
"Sagar, do we have a plan as to how we can get in the tower?"Bhoomi asked Sagar.
"I don't know. The tower's bound to be heavily guarded since there's a wedding going on." Sagar replied.
"Then we'll have to sneak in!" Krish exclaimed.
"OH CURSES! How can we do anything without Sanaya?! This group is now uneven!" Roshan cried.
"Wow. Even in complete crisis, he cares about even numbers." Chaya rolled her eyes.
"We'll think of something once we get there." Sagar said.
"That can happen if someone could drive this thing faster!" Krish exclaimed.

And so, in another half an hour, the group had arrived to Sector Raat. Because of its name, the land was always in night time. Only difference was that the color of the night sky would change in accordance to the time of the day. "So tell me that we didn't miss the wedding yet!" Krish exclaimed.

"The night sky is of a lighter blue hue which means its near noon time. So we're good." Chaya replied.
"Now where do we find the tower?" Bhoomi asked.
"Oh that's easy. Just looked at the dark pointy building ahead." Krish pointed out straight.
"Let's keep moving." Sagar ordered the others.

Inside the tower, in her room, Sanaya sat on her bed, holding her knees as she cried in helplessness. At that moment, a servant opened the door, bringing in a tray of food. "Lady Sanaya...I bring you breakfast." the servant told Sanaya.

"I don't want!"
"But madame...if you don't eat, the prince will get angry."
"Then let him get angry! I don't want anything!"
"Please madame...please eat something. I insist."

Sanaya turned away, stubborn to eat anything. The servant shook his head as he then placed the tray on the nightstand and then left Sanaya alone in the room, locking the door.

In the hall, Prince Vikesh handed three maids a midnight blue wedding saree with gold embroidery and two indigo colored jewelry boxes. "This is the wedding saree and the wedding jewelry. Make sure you get her ready in time for this evening." Prince Vikesh told the maids. They nodded and took the saree and jewelry, heading towards Sanaya's room.

Outisde the tower, there was a long line of guests waiting outside to attend the wedding. And right at the end of the line, Sagar, Bhoomi, Chaya, Krish, and Roshan were in line. "Man! All these people for a wedding?!" Krish asked. "This guy must be popular!"

"He's a prince. So obviously anyone will want to come to a royal wedding." said Chaya.
"If only we could get inside sooner." Bhoomi sighed.
"How can we?" Sagar asked. "There's such a huge line that we'll probably only get in right when the marriage has started. What else can we do?"

Roshan then looked off to the side to notice a shorter, separate line of guests. However, there appeared to be a different set of guests. In that line, a series of royal, well dressed couples were making their way inside the tower. "Look at this line! We may be in the line for the common folk. But that line is for all the royal couples across the other sectors." Roshan pointed out.

"Too bad none of us are royal otherwise we could have gotten in." Bhoomi said. Krish and Roshan then looked at each other and smirked. "What are you two thinking?" Chaya asked. The trio then turned, looking at both Sagar and Bhoomi. "What?!" Sagar and Bhoomi asked in unison.

A while later, Krish, Chaya, and Roshan came back in the commoners line, dressed in more formal looking attire. And right in the line for the royal couples, Sagar and Bhoomi had stood at the end of the line. While Sagar wore an elegant blue colored Bhojpuri silk sherwani, Bhoomi wore a viridian green colored lehenga. "Tell us again why we are doing this?!" Sagar asked the others in the line.

"Its simple. All you two have to do is act like a couple so you can get in the tower before us," Krish replied. "I mean how hard can it be! You two are practically a couple anyway!"
"What did you say?!" Sagar and Bhoomi asked Krish in annoyed tones.
"Its stupid, we know. But if you two can at least get in quicker, then you can make sure things are okay till we get in." Chaya explained.
"Besides, no one will recognize us or you two. Just make sure you avoid those men once you get in the tower." Roshan warned.
"And act natural!" Krish added. "That means you two need to look like a couple!"

Sagar rolled his eyes. He then lended his hand to Bhoomi. "Shall we go?" Sagar asked Bhoomi. Bhoomi reluctantly nodded. And with that, Sagar grabbed hold of Bhoomi's hand, taking her along as the two went down as the line for the royal couples got shorter. Bhoomi looked down, seeing Sagar's tight grasp on her hand as he looked ahead. The grasp from his hand...its almost as if...as if he's being protective, Bhoomi thought to herself as she then looked at Sagar. She then turned ahead, giving off a small smile on her face as she blushed a little bit. Once the two were checked in by the guards, they were able to enter the tower. "See! They got in!" Roshan exclaimed.

"I knew they could pass for a couple," Krish smirked. "After all, they are one!"
"Shut up and move, Cupid. The line's going forward." Chaya rolled her eyes.

Inside the tower, Sagar and Bhoomi came inside the ballroom where all the guests had gathered inside. The ballroom was of a midnight blue color with a large diamond chandelier that lit up the room and walls with moonstones encrusted in them. The two looked around, examining the area. "Everything seems normal here." Bhoomi said.

"I guess Vikesh is not here yet. Nor is Sanaya."
"We'll have to stick around and look I guess."

As the two continued to look around, Sagar was shocked to see the three men standing in a corner of the ballroom. He then noticed them heading towards their direction. "Its a nice place," Bhoomi said. "I think-"

But before Bhoomi could finish her sentence, Sagar pulled Bhoomi by her hand, taking her out from the ballroom. "What happened?! Where are we going?!" Bhoomi asked Sagar, confused. As the two went in the hall while the men were walking from behind, Sagar immediately opened what appeared to be a storage closet. He pulled Bhoomi inside the closet, shutting the door. "What are you doing?!" Bhoomi asked Sagar. "Why did you bring us in a closet?! What the-"

"Shut up." Sagar told Bhoomi, covering her mouth with his hand as he then drew her closer to him, pulling her to the corner of the closet while holding her by her waist. "Those men are around here. That's why we need to hide." Sagar whispered to Bhoomi. Sagar looked ahead, while Bhoomi's face began to turn pink as the proximity between her and Sagar was so close.

Outside, the men had left the hall and were heading towards the right hall. Sagar sighed in relief, hearing the men were gone. He then looked down at Bhoomi, who was looking at him with solemn eyes. He then removed his hand away from Bhoomi's mouth, letting her go as they both composed themselves. After a brief moment of silence, Sagar said, "Let's go." With that, Sagar gave his hand to Bhoomi to which she held on as the two of them left the closet discretely, walking down the hall.

On the other hand, Krish, Chaya, and Roshan had arrived inside the ballroom where all the guests were waiting. "Where are Sagar and Bhoomi?" Chaya asked.

"Probably romancing somewhere!" Krish exclaimed.
"Would you shut up?! This is no time for fantasies!" Chaya shouted.
"I was just making an assumption!" Krish retorted.
"This is awful!" Roshan cried.
"What? What is it?!" Chaya asked.
"There are fifty one moonstones encrusted on the walls of this room! That's an odd number!" Roshan whined.
"Of course. That's the only thing he can worry about right now." Chaya shook her head.

Then, at that moment, Prince Vikesh had arrived in the room. He was dressed in an indigo colored silk sherwani that had gold embroidery and moonstone sequins. He was followed by his servants who escorted him to the altar. "So that's Vikesh." Chaya pointed out.

"He looks like a grouch." Krish said.
"That means the wedding is about to start! And its not even evening yet!" Roshan cried.

Suddenly, Sanaya came in the room, dressed in the bridal attire as she was dragged by the maids to the altar. She tried to free herself, but her efforts went in vain. "There's Sanaya!" Krish exclaimed. The maids finally forced Sanaya to sit down next to Vikesh at the altar while the priest came and took his place.

Vikesh turned to Sanaya with a smirk on his face as she sat with tears in her eyes. "Why do you cry?" Vikesh asked Sanaya. "In a matter of time, you will become my wife and the new queen of Sector Raat. Then what else could you want?!" Sanaya kept silent.

"Let the wedding rituals begin." the priest announced.
"I OBJECT!" Roshan shouted as he then came before the altar.

The guests, Prince Vikesh, and Sanaya were astonished to see Roshan come before the altar. "This is no church wedding where you can say you object!" the priest told Roshan.

"So what?! I can still say it!" Roshan retorted.
"How dare you?!" Prince Vikesh shouted at Roshan as he stood up from the altar. "On what moral ground do you have the nerve to come and try to stop my marriage?!"

At that moment, Roshan drew out his prism shard, tapping it and transforming into spectrum form which took Vikesh by surprise. And at that moment, Sagar, Bhoomi, Krish, and Chaya had jumped before the altar by Roshan's side, all in their spectrum forms. "Oh...so the Spectrum decided to ruin my wedding?!" Prince Vikesh asked.

"Yeah! That's right!" Krish exclaimed. "Every fancy wedding needs a good crashing!"
"Don't think you can marry our friend without getting through us." Sagar told Vikesh.
"Is that so?" Vikesh asked. "Well then...challenge accepted."

Wow, an engaging episode!

Man this Vikesh guy is a real royal jerk! Poor Sanaya! Being forced to marry this guy!

Glad the Spectrum went off to save her!

Aww...Sagar and Bhoomi had to pretend to be a couple to get in the tower! And that moment they had in the closet ☺️ They're so cute together!

And Roshan...he never fails to be funny even in the most serious situations!🥱

Can't wait to see what happens next and if they can take out Vikesh!
