The prologue had that mind-numbing effect that I am rendered speechless. You have moulded the words into this beautiful description of the painful shade of love.
The words were soul-piercing while the entire POV was exquisite, something I have never come across before.
The first chapter was fairly interesting with the introduction of our protagonist Sanyukta and Vidushi.
You have done a fair justification with their friendship by portraying it in the best possible way and magnifying the essence of their bond, thus defining what a true friend really means... Kudos to you for that..
Oh! Sanyukta's past is really a dark one.. And with the prologue it seems that her future is a dark one as well.
Finally, Randhir's entry... And Vidushi knows him..? Hmm.. Why do I think that Vidushi will be acting cupid between the two?
