Part 2 (Arnav's POV)

As I saw the love of my life signing the new contract, I felt the urge to go there and tear the contract into multiple pieces. Now I realized her pain when she was signing the previous one. I hate that our relationship has an expiration date. I hate myself for causing pain and distress to the woman I love. But, I take this as a challenge and make her fall in love with me again.

1^st month.

After I signed the contract, I took her to a Gol Gappe stand. She excitedly jumped out of the car and went to Gol Gappe wala and ordered a plate.

"Memsaab, does saab too need a plate?"

"No Bhai, He can't stand tikka stuff. He cries like a baby when eats anything spicy."

My male ego got hurt when I heard her say that. I would have lashed out. But I remembered the contract and went to the GG wala and ordered a plate. I had a little hope that she will feed those Gol Gappes but ate myself anyway. I put one in mouth and wondered why do they taste different from when Khushi fed to me when we went to Buaji's house. When Khushi fed them to me it tasted very sweet. Then I wondered how I am going to finish the other four. Then I remembered my mom telling that I should eat spicy stuff fast so that I won't feel the spiciness. So I quickly ate all four Gol Gappes quickly and started coughing. Khushi immediately gave me water and made me drink it. After I drank my water, I saw Khushi's angry eyes. "What are you thinking about yourself? Do you always think with your ego? Who eats Gol Gappe like that and why are you smiling like an idiot?" I was smiling like an idiot because my heart feels happy knowing that she still cares for me.

After that I left a rose from my plants on her pillow every day. For the first week, I would see the rose in the trash, next week I saw her smelling and admiring it before throwing it. Next week, I saw her wearing them in her hair every day.

2^nd month

I was very happy that Khushi has been wearing my roses in her hair. I have been complimenting her looks and dress everyday. She just smiles and goes away. She always makes sure that I eat and have medicines everyday. I eat and take my medicines only to see satisfaction in her eyes. I knew I have to take step further and started thinking what to do. I came to my garden and looked at the roses that Lavanya gave me. I felt bad for playing with her feeling. Then I saw Payal come into our room and talk to Khushi. I didn't want to hear their personal talk, but my ears caught what they were talking about. "Khushi, I wanted to ask you something that has been bugging me for some time."

"What happened Jiji?"

"Where are your amma's bangles Khushi? I have never seen them on your hands for a while right now"

"Woh...I sold them."

"Why?"

"I needed money that time, so I sold it. Don't worry, Sethji agreed not to sell them as long as I pay him interest and I will buy them back soon."

"Why did you sell them in the first place Khushi?"

I didn't stay there to hear why she sold them. My first instinct was to call Aman to track this Sethji. After some time Aman gave me his address and I went to his shop. At first the Sethji didn't want to sell it to me, then I told him I was Khushi's Husband. The old man blessed me and sold me the bangles. I thanked the Sethji and went home to surprise her. I wanted to give her the bangles as soon as possible. But then I remembered that her birthday will be next month and I got hold of my eagerness and decided to gift the bangles for her birthday.

3^rd month

It is 12:00 AM. Today was her birthday. I looked at my sweet wife sleeping peacefully like a baby. I went close to her and kissed her cheeks and wished her happy birthday. Unknowingly her hand gripped my collar. I kissed her tiny fists and slept together with her. She is going to be surprised for what I planned for her birthday.

He saw his wife open her eyelids; she got up and rubbed her eyelids. She let out a gasp seeing me. She was surprised as I was wearing a simple cotton kurta with a rose in my hand. She had her mouth in a perfect cute shaped O'. I so wished to kiss her lips but I controlled my urges. I gave her the rose and kissed her. "Happy Birthday Khushi, May you celebrate many birthdays like this and May you let me wish for your birthday every year." I saw little pearls forming in her eyes. I quickly wiped them. She hugged me and thanked me. We were in each other's embrace for sometime. Then I lifted her chin.

"Khushi, open this box?"

"What is it Arnavji?"

"Its my gift for your birthday."

Khushi opened the big round bangle box and started crying holding her bangles.

"How did you get them?"

"Why did you sell them for me, Khushi? I know everything. I know that Lavanya didn't buy those flowers for me. Why did you sell Amma's bangles for me? For the person who doesn't deserve either you or your love."

"beacause I love you and I thought Lavanyaji is best for you but it killed me to see when you both. You don't know the hell I went through that time."

Arnav hugged Khushi, "Shh, Khushi. Please don't cry, I can't tolerate to see any more tears in your eyes. They are precious pearls and don't waste them on anyone anymore."

Khushi giggled against his chest, "Arnavji when did you started talking like a poet?"

"When I fell in love with this amazing woman before me."

"Thank you for the bangles Arnavji." She kissed his cheeks. "And you are half forgiven."

Normal POV.

Little did Arnav Singh Raizada know that his wife has forgiven him completely but wanted to play with her husband. She wanted to get spoiled by her husband for some more time. It is not a regular thing that Arnav Singh Raizada is playing by your whim and Khushi wanted to make full use of it.
