Chapter 25

His first question to her was, "Are you sure?"

"Yes," she told him, no doubt in her voice. "I'm completely sure."

He gently lay her down on the bed, a little shakily, from being unable to see. As soon as she was on the bed, he lay down beside her on his side and caressed her cheek softly, causing her to close her eyes.
