Engagement Ceremony,
Khushi and Arnav didn't even meet each other till the Engagement Ceremony. Both had their reasons. Khushi thought that he had heard her confession that day because she found her clutch on the side table. Arnav thought that ignorance is what which will make Khushi nearer to her realization of love.
But instead of going on the positive side, it was going about turn. Khushi felt neglected due to her insecurity. She felt that probably her confession distanced her from Arnav. Even though she wasn't sure that he heard her confession in front of her Devi Maiyya, still she found her painful solace in this reasoning of hers.
"Searching someone, Khushi?" asked Arnav, bringing Khushi out of her trance.
As Khushi turned around to look at the owner of the voice, she found herself too close to Arnav and lost her balance, due to shock.
On the other hand, Arnav's arms automatically went around Khushi, who was clearly anticipating a fall but instead she found herself in the safe embrace of her love, her Arnav.
Their intense gazes clashed, and everything else went into a blur. It was as if the spring had come early to their hearts, it was as if it was the season of passion for their souls which were open to each other through each others eyes.
" ARNIE" A shout from behind surely shattered all the romantic sensations pulsating throughout their bodies.
It didn't take long for Arnav to realize that it was Lavanya who had come down to help him, to win his lady love's heart.
Arnav pushed Khushi away from him, while Khushi's mouth formed O-shape in surprise that her best friend and her to-be-fiance pushed her away for some random girl.
" LAV! It is such a pleasure to see you here. I missed you so much, darling." Arnav said to her in a tone audible to Khushi, so that her jealousy further increases.
As Arnav signed Lavanya to hug him, Lavanya enveloped him in a not-so-bear-type hug.
Khushi burned in the fire of jealousy as she saw Lavanya hug Arnav that tightly.
Doesn't she know that Arnav is hooked and his to-be-fiancee is standing right in front of them? Doesn't she have any kind of shame?
Those were the questions which were haunting Khushi's mind while Arnav was clearly enjoying the effects of his plan with Lavanya.
" Lav, our plan is succeeding. Khushi is jealous, finally." whispered Arnav to Lavanya to which Lavanya started laughing which made Khushi even more.
End of Patience, decided Khushi.
" Umm..Arnav don't you think we are getting late for OUR ENGAGEMENT CEREMONY." Khushi said intentionally stressing at the last three words while eying at Lavanya with anger.
And then they realized that the green eyed monster was seated on the shoulder of Khushi and was even overpowering her actions.
" There is still time for it. I am sure DI will call us when it is time. Meet Lavanya, my best friend and Chief Operations Officer of AR, Delhi." said Arnav, while drawing Lavanya for a side hug which it burned Khushi all the more.
" Hello Khushi. Really happy to meet you. And congratulations on your betrothal with ASR aka Arrogant Sexy Raizada." said Lavanya, while patting Arnav on his back and laughing, as Arnav joined her.
" This Khadoos Laad Governor doesn't even smile when he is with me but now he is laughing when this Chudail(Witch) is openly flirting with him that too infront of me!" thought Khushi, as she fumed in anger but inwardly she felt that maybe she was a burden for him.
Maybe she was not the right person for him. Maybe Arnav deserved someone much better than her. Maybe he wanted to marry Lavanya but he is marrying Khushi for her wishes.
Khushi smiled through the tears which threatened to fall by seeing Arnav laugh with Lavanya.
When you feel searing pain yet smile by seeing your loved one with someone else instead of feeling jealous, maybe that is what is called true love.
" I will be back!" said Khushi, while turning her back towards both of them as tears threatened to fall.
" What happened to this Khushi suddenly?" asked Lavanya, who immediately felt concerned for Khushi, but Arnav on the other hand, took it the lighter way.
" Maybe it was too much for her to bear in one shot! Streams of jealousy would have flown in her heart now." said Arnav, unknown to the fact that streams have truly flown but not of jealousy from in her heart but of intense pain through the windows to her soul.
Arnav knew Khushi's past but he was not aware that even a single ignorance of anyone would make her feel dejected and even a single moment of lack of attention from her loved ones would make her feel rejected.
He had experienced both of them being her best friend but never understood its depth. He never realized that he could never make Khushi jealous; he could only make her wince in deep pain.

Khushi's Room,
Khushi hid her face in the cradle of her folded knees and shed the tears which were the part of her evaporated soul.
Her parents rejected her once to push her into the vortex of low self-esteem and self-confidence but she found her solace in Garima and Shashi Gupta, her parents from the heart and soul.
But today seeing Lavanya and Arnav so close, her fears that she was nothing but a burden on the Arnav Singh Raizada, who had girls throwing themselves at his feet and the arrogant person who never believed in marriages or commitments.
One wrong step of Arnav had surely destroyed the peace of Khushi's mind. Though his intentions were right, the way he chose was wrong.
Will he be able to realize his mistake and repair the damage which he caused for Khushi?
Will Arnav be able to show his love to Khushi and will Khushi be able to realize the extent of her love for Arnav?

Sorry for the Chotu Update! This FF boggles my mind and my mind is already having fever so couldn't write any more! Will write a bigger update for future!
