New Arshi FF:Hopes

Guys i am new here & this is my first attempt at writing.Please let me know what you think😳😳

PROLOGUE

Arnav looked at the young lady next to him she was arguing fiercely against something the human right activist had said just now he had read about this young "just out of the college" scientist who helped in designing modern safety wares and some ammunitions for Indian army he was intrigued to say the least by her spirit . They were at a Tv debate show of a well known news channel , the topic was "Money spent on ammunitions for Indian Defence Department by our government" this human right activist was against it arguing that instead that money should be spent on "usefull" things like education & health . I almost chuckled out aloud at his theory may be I was biased being an Ex-army man & now working for Indian Intelligence Department , but for the love of god I couldn't understand his point of view , will there be any education department & health department if there wasn't any defence department I mean we would all have been dead at the hands of those terrorists by now . I looked up surprised as the young lady' Kushi Bhat made the exact point as if she were reading my mind.

Kushi looked exasperated at the guy so called human right activist . She wanted to throw a bucket of water at him to wake him up from his fantasy world & see the stark reality in front of him .I nodded at the anchor who asked her to make her last point "Look Mr.Suraj I know Indian education & health departments needs lot of funds but it's funds have nothing to do with defence funds just because three of your children have limited food doesn't mean that you take away the food from one of them & give it to the other two . Those army men at the borders are the reason that we are here having a debate instead of being locked up in our homes fearing the terrorist to come at any moment and take our lives , I don't know about you but I for one really don't have the courage our army men have , the guts to stand there and expect to take a bullet at any moment & still having the resolve to take down as many as attackers as possible before going down , the least I can do is make sure that they have best weapons to fight with & to protect themselves to certain extent & the least you can do is stand out of our way" . This shut him down effectively or may be the show's time was over not allowing him to talk further I was thankful either way . I made my way out after thanking the anchor following Arnav Raizada , he was on her side during the debate obviously as he was working for Indian Defence Department.
