Chapter 5She was waiting patiently outside the mumbai airport, with her 6 month old baby, sleeping in his mother's embrace. Her eyes were roaming around, just to have of a glimpse of him. Its been exactly two months, she had last seen him. From past 2 months, he was in london on business trip. Her lips curved into a small smile when her eyes caught glimpse of him, coming out of the airport with his luggage. Rey smiled seeing his wife & baby had came to receive him.
He walked toward them, while the driver kept his luggage in car, Rey pulled his wife in side hug since she is carrying Little Rihaan. He smiled at her, He had truly missed her in past two months. Things have changed between their after their delhi trip. The hesitation and awkwardness are no longer there between them. They both had accepted each other as husband wife not a responsibility that comes along with being little rihaan's parents.
He smiled at her, then he looked down, his eyes softened as they fell over his little bundle of joy, he bend down and drop a kiss on his head. Driver opened the back seat door for her, taani sat inside the car with Rihaan in her arms, Rey followed her move and sat beside her then driver drove away to home.
"So, hows everyone at home? Hope bua dadi is not troubling you-" Rey asked her, starting off the conversation.
"All are good but missed you alot, and don't talk about bua dadi like this, she is our elder. And waise bhi, after you left for london, she left for her son's place." Taani told him causing him to narrow her eyes at her never ending good nature, of which people like bua dadi take advantage.
"Its good that she left. I don't like how she treats you." Rey mumbled while checking some mails on his cell phone. Taani look at him, the way he stand up for her, always touch her heart.
"Its mom-dad's 30th wedding anniversary tomorrow, any special plans for that?" Rey asked her, changing the topic before she could again tell him to not to about bua dadi in disrespecting way.
"Yeah! We have planned a grand party for them." Taani told him excitedly, then she filled him up with the information of things happened in his absence while he listened to her with smile.

He come out of the washroom after taking a relaxing warm shower, he smiled seeing his son playing on the bed. He walked over the bed and smiled down at his son who excitedly started throwing his arms in air after seeing his father.
"Rihaan! I missed you so much, baby-" Rey lifted him up in his arms, making his son gave him a toothless grin. Rihaan cupped his father's face in his tiny palms and smiled widely making him laugh too.
"Rey, at least wear your clothes else you will catch cold." He heard her voice, he turned and saw her, entering the room with his dinner. Taani smiled at him, she placed the dinner tray on the table then walked toward him. Rey handed the little rihaan to her. Rey walked over the closet, taking out his night clothes, he quickly got dressed and come back to her. Rey took Rihaan from her and sat on the bed, and got busy in playing with him.
"Your hair are still wet." Taani told him, when she got no reply from him, she pocked up the towel and stepped close to him. His eyes snapped at her when she started drying his hair with towel. She lowered eye lashes and they met his intensified gaze, she shiver slightly.
"I don't want you to catch cold." Taani mumbled softly as she continued doing her work. The softness in her touch, in her every stroke pulled him toward her. His gaze softness as he admired her for the care she showed toward him & his child.
"Thank you, and now you also take some rest else humari care karte karte, tum khud bimaar pad jaaogi." Rey said to her, taani shook her head. She placed the towel aside and brought his dinner tray. She placed it on the bed.
"Aap diiner kar lijiye, till them i'll make rihaan sleep." Taani said to him, Rey nodded. He gave Rihaan to her who made himself comfortable in her arms and rested his head on her shoulder. Rey smiled seeing his son, who prove himself to be mumma's son in all sense.
"Did you had your dinner?" Rey asked her, Taani bit her lower lip and shook her head negatively making him frown at her.
"Sit here." Rey said to her in firm tone. While taking care of others, she always fails to take care of herself, which he dislike. Taani sat on the bed with rihaan in her arms, she was patting his back in soft gentle manner, which was making him sleepy.
"You are not moving away from here till you eat properly." Rey said to her, he signaled her to eat.
"You start eating, I'll eat after putting him to sleep." Taani said to him, pointing at Rihaan who was on verge of sleeping. Rey shook his head. Instead of replying to her, he held a spoonful of rice mixed with curry near her mouth. Taani look at him with surprised fill eyes.
"Eat." Rey mumbled softly, she snapped out of her trance and ate quietly. Pleasantly surprised by his sweet gesture of feeding her. In comfortable silence, they had their dinner. Taking a step more close to each other, making a special place in each other's hearts with their care for each other.
