Chapter 3

I gulped down my favourite lemon ice tea sitting lazily on the sofa punching the air with my feet I was gazing at the wall seeing my pictures with gang and specially Taani and my Sharon's pics hung up there synchronizing and mixing with each other. Sharon. My first and last love.

I remember today's scene god she literally knows to win over me.

Flashback

"humare relationship ke bare me hum rey ko bata rahe hai" I said frustrated by her constant disapproval

"no ways Rey in dino bahot tensed hai not now"shrugged Sharon

"come on Sharon he is our best friend"I protested

"no means no agar tumne Rey ko jake bataya na I promise me tumse break up kar lungi"she shouted

"you are impossible" I shrugged in disbelief. Who breaks up for such idiotic reason???

"that's the reason I am Sharon Ria Prakash"she said folding her hands with pride

"fine"I gave up in disbelief with a smile. Sometimes she looks too cute when she is stubborn. But otherwise she is the Siren.

This is one good thing that happened in all this mess SHARON...

The glass was freezing but the liquid in was much more cool. I licked my lips as the cold hit my lips. My wincing lips brought me back from my reverie. A soft smile appeared remembering her. She always had that effect on me.

My home was pretty clean and well maintained all thanks to my "cleanliness freak sis" TAANI. God she'll literally scare the hell out of you if you dirty "her" home. She was look really innocent and immature but she has much more inner strength than me.

But gazing there my mind was lost much into thinking about the after math of him being around. Him being around wasn't a good signal at all. He is good when he is good when not he is devil on earth. I hope and pray to god that he literally doesn't cause some big damage on our life. We made it. The second chance which we got we changed it to a beautiful life. Be it simple without any luxuries but it was a very beautiful one.

But what if this is spoilt???

I know right now he must be sitting in some 5 star hotel's big presidential suite busy making plans over how to take revenge. You know the difference between him and papa? No? then see papa remains strict on normal bases and just becomes angry when he is hurt but this man he remains sweet throughout but when someone messes with him he makes their lives living hell or even more

Though till date he hasn't done anything to us but I doubt his intention this time. Every time its not the same and plus this time we have a headache to handle. Note my sarcasms. I love him Taani loves him more but I wanna get rid of him right now!!!

"Day dreaming Sharon bro?" said Taani teasingly I rolled my eyes smiling in disbelief at this girl's wits. Even after so much happening in our lives she can sit and make fun of things. Taani is Taani. The most craziest girl I have ever known.

"Shut up" I retorted rolling my eyes. Idiot. We are really like typical bro sis who fight and even love each other. Other than princess if I ever kept her any pet name then its IDIOT she chuckled seeing me snap. And continued.

"Don't worry bro everything will be fine" she may try consoling me but her face itself depicted she herself was tensed. She maybe his little over pampered princess but still she knew her father very well.

"First do it yourself sissy" I saw at her face with a mocking smile. I don't mock her I mock the situation.

"What do you think bro? will he do something" her look depicted seriousness and worry she was tensed if something happens we are gone for good or say bad Ranveer Shekhawat please don't turn up!!!! Please!!!

"Taani we just can hope yaar" I sighed seeing her face. My emotionless face did worry her more she just saw nervously at me and nodded when the bell rang. here we didn't even talk for a while and here he is. Wait what???? Swayam you are gone mad. Only the news of him being back is eating your head then what will happen later???

"Who is it?"I asked her with just like that forgetting him and everything else.

"God knows I'll go and check" Taani noded in confusion and went.

"Mr. Sharma" she whispered what the hell is this landlord doing at my home at the idle of the month??? No he can't throw us out or increase the rent no ways its impossible we have so many expenses to clear and its really getting hard with the hikes in prices these days. I almost ran there

"Mr. Sharma we had paid the dues on time what are you doing here???" I demanded

"Me bas ye batane aaya tha that I have sold this house"he informed

"What????" we almost literally shouted are we homeless???
"Ye aap hame ab bata rahe ho??? hum kaha rahenge ab??? in such a short notice???" barked the boiling tigress Taani. I would have teased her normally but now I needed a answer more desperatrely then teasing

"guys listen jinhone kharida hai vo tumdono ko as PG rakhne ke liye ready hai"he comforted us to which we just breathed in relief but I just froze the next second. What is meant by teenage Adrenalin run I could seriously feel now. I could feel blood rushing through my nerves seeing a faint figure it was him. I could guess as he came more closer. With his every step my heart pondered in scare. We are staying under a same roof. God damn don't be so rude!!!

"so he is Mr. Shekhawat I'll excuse now"he said

"listen you just sell without our knowledge to phir kya hua agar ye aapka ghar hai we are tenants and we have rights to know I'll sue you" shouted Taani boiling in anger. Poor mr. Sharma he became the sufferer of all her frustration

"Taani its ok"I calmed her down

"no bhai its not ok this man can't do this" shouted Taani even over me. Mr. Sharma was scared but even I was now. Is their anger some trait which Taani inherited from chachu and if yes then why on earth didn't papa gave a management trait to me to handle her why papa why??? Even I'll sue you

"listen miss Taani I am really sorry I urgently needed money"he said with a helpless look

"NO I WON'T BEACAME A PG" she shouted on top of her lungs. God this girl and her lung power save me!!!

"You have to" he came closer and blurted in a dangerous tone it was alarming really alarming. He wanted to do something his voice indicated and Taani's frustration easily calmed into scare his only looks can cause danger

"Ok Mr. Sharma we are ok with it aap jao because right now we need to help him aapki mehman navaji phir kabhi kar lenge" I snapped now this man is more headache then I needed and so I have to through him out. What if guests are considered god. I am not Indian. So how can you expect me to follow those rules???

Anyways coming back to the current situation as our ex landlord threw himself out our new landlord threw himself on the sofa as if it was his of course it is his. God I am going insane that too not in love because of this man how I wish I could get insane for Sharon awe my Sharon she so beautiful so hot so pretty such a beautiful danger and a person...what where am I changing my track??? Swayam focus

"Are we supposed to pay you rent" asked Taani bluntly folding her hands. Where did her scare vanish to anger and confidence to take over? This Taani and her mood swings they are more than a pregnant women

"8000 per month" he demanded getting up the sofa

"8000 are you out of your mind???" shouted Taani what is with her we paid 10,000 to mr. Sharma and this is atleast less

"per person" he added leaving me mouth opened per person??? 160000 a month that's impossible maybe Taani had expected it

"5000"said Taani sitting on the sofa I looked at her in shock. Did she just bargain???
"Ye ghar mera hai" said chachu glaring at Taani

"Ranveer Shekhawat Mumbai me rent pe kam ghar nahi milti 5000 me rakhna hai to rakho warna I am out of your home" said Taani in a warning tone this maybe the first time in world history when a daughter would have bargained to her own father. There was a time when Taani was all about exclusive things and now she is Mumbai's bargain queen. See the change great change. I thought of just having fun listening to them

"kaha kaha bhagogi you have to face me"said chachu with his world famous smirk while Taani gave him a sarcastic one and continued

"dad ek country chodke idhar aaye to ek ghar aur college chodne me hame koi problem nahi kyu bhai" she mocked on his face

"5000 for both of us take it or leave it" I might sound like a cunning business tycoon but I myself have traits taken up from great great great ancestors

"5000 nahi ab to 3000 vo bhi dono ke add up amount bahot ho gaya rent pe aap humpe tourcher nahi kar sakte" she said confidently

"Taani I'll go and pack our bags"I added smirking

"fine 3000 done" he gave up he might be problematic but Taani is bargaining champ.
"dekho yaha rehna hai na to mere kuch terms manne padenge" said Taani as if not chachu she has bought the house

"Listen ye ghar mera hai" he said much in disbelief

"Rent chahiye na?" she glared in a warning tone

"shoot" its fun to make the worlds most cunning business tycoon your hands puppet and only Taani knows how to give him tit for tat

"rule no. 1: jo khana banega chup chap khana padega jala ho na pasand ho ya kuch bhi ho

Rule no.2: apna room saaf rakhna compulsory hai

Rule no. 3: don't ever come in front of our friends

Rule no. 4:mere Mohobatte dekhne me aap sawal nahi uthaoge

And that's it" she ordered him seriously Mohobatte???
"ye Mohobatte kya hai?" asked chachu confused

"Film" I informed while he looked at me just blinking in utter shock.

"Film" he repeated almost stammering. Taani was one big hater of films. Obviously you can't expect a tom boy to love some love stories right? Chachu shock was genuine.

You know I miss their bond. They were much more than a father daughter. They were each other's best friends. Chachu knew every single thing about Taani and even Taani shared everything with him. Chachu loved pulling Taani's leg and then Taani shouting open him. It was only infront of him Taani got emotional. Even chachu's single small word would make her cry otherwise she was one who doesn't care a damn about anyways any limit insult. Chachu would always love and pamper her and she knew how to get things done from him. I just really miss it.

"Taani you are really gonna have hard time" his smirk made my smile die. God be whatever I know this drama will end up today itself once he is settled here he'll make us settle. This day might prove a feisty but from tomorrow he would be hell scary so just wait for tomorrow.
