Chapter 19- The burning fate
Fire surrounded her but she did not burn into ashes . She felt warm but did not feel pain . It surrounded her like taking her in embrace and she felt as if she was in her fathers arms . It was as warm and peaceful as her fathers lap .

"What did I just dream about now ?"Draupadi said as she woke up with her hands in her head . She was confused at what she had seen and her mind went blank finding the answer .

Draupadi started at the burning candle in front of her . She remembered her dream and something urged her to keep her fingers in the burning candle . She kept on staring at the flame , her finger was still there but she could not feel pain. She was still lost in her thoughts when someone pushed her finger away from the burning candle .

Draupadi came into reality as her finger was nudged away . She looked up at the person who did that .
"Are u gone mad ? Or have u totally lost it ! "Said Arjun both angrily and surprisingly . "What the heck u think are u doing ? Burning your finger ! "
"Do u think this is a some kind of game . U would have lost your finger if u had kept it a little more longer in that burning fire ! "He continued all the time looking at her angrily but his eyes ...his eyes looked concerned and hurt .
Draupadi knew well that though he was angry he was angry because he cared . But why ? Was the only question in her brain .
"Why do u even care ? "Asked draupadi confused at his current actions and words.
"I care because ...because I ... "Arjun hesitated to reply . He even himself did not know why did he care . But finally he managed to say "because next is the IQ test and u have to write down answer and if u burn your finger then how will u write . Do u wanna lose this competition also ? "
Draupadi did not reply and turned her face towards the book in front of her. And what did I think ! She thought as she kept on tried to concentrate on the book .
After sometime Draupadi's fingers started to burn in pain . She felt burning sensation in those fingers . She could not help it and ended up shredding a tear from her eyes as the pain increased more .
Arjun saw the tear from Draupadi eyes making its way down her cheeks . He felt as though not her but he was experiencing the pain .
Chot lagi hai usey,
Phir kyun mehsoos mujhe ho raha hai
Dil tu bata de kya hai iraada tera
[ she has been hurt then why am I feeling the pain ? Tell me heart what is your plan? ]
Finally Arjun gave up and said ,"I think u should apply some ointment to your finger if it is paining . The fist aid is in the reception . "
Draupadi nodded her head and quickly disappeared from there .
After she want Arjun mummer to himself ,
I hope she is fine .

Draupadi heard some laughs as she passed across the girls changing room after applying some ointment to her half burnt finger . She did not bother to look in but was called by someone , whom she knew very well ...her bestie Chitra.
She entered the room to find some girls ,which also included her best friends, sitting in a circle and staring at some paper .
"Hey draupadi ! "One of them called out . "Come on and join us !"
"Hey Draupadi too much studying is not good for health ! U should have some fun also "said one of her friend Swati .
Draupadi sat down with them knowing that Mr Khadoos would scold her if he would come to know about this .
"Okay Draupadi we have opened a marriage bureaucracy and u r our first client "Swati said to her to which draupadi responded ,"what ? "
"It's is a game ,also known as Choose your future ! "A girl next to swati corrected her .
"Okay so what do I have to do ? "Asked Draupadi who started getting interested in the game . At least it was more interesting than reading the whole library .
"Just say start and stop . Once u say start we will move the pen in the paper at the side of the paper and u get the answer to the question once u say stop and we will stop it . Get it ? "Explained Swati and Drauapdi nodded in a yes .
"Okay the first one lets find out what will your husband name start with !"
"Start !"Draupadi said and immediately said ,"stop "
"Okay so your husband name will start form the letter ...A !" Said Swati and Draupadi want red as she heard that, Chitra silently pinched her .
"Now the next question, where would u two go on the first date ?"
"Start "
"Stop"
"Omg u would go to the ...a long journey for your first date . Ahem ahem .." Everyone laughed present there and Swati continued to tease ."ahem ahem long drive pe chal chal ..."
"Now the next question is where would u two marry ?"
"Start "
"Stop"said Draupadi cursing herself for agreeing to play this game .
"U would marry in Chennai !" Exclaimed Swati . "Good choice !"
"Oh ho Drauapadi , you're grandma house is also in Chennai right?"Chitra said in a teasing manner .
After some more question the game ended. Draupadi ran form there before anyone would start teasing her .
"Stupid game !"she said angrily ."It would have been better if I had studied instead of playing that stupid game !"

"Hey Chitrazz which movie are u watching ?"Draupadi asked as she founded her friend sitting in front of the tele box ,munching some popcorn .
"Magadheera" replied Chitra as Draupadi sat next to her .
"What is it about ?"
"It is a south movie about two lovers who take rebirth in order to fulfil their unfinished love story . In the fist brith due to some reasons their love story is left unfinished so they come back to earth again after many years just to complete their love story . "
"Interesting story ...but this all happens only in movies !"Draupadi said as she concentrated on the movie.
"Just think if this happens in real life then ?"Chitra asked dreamily .
"Yes . In real life it happens in imagination !" draupadi retorted .
"Shut up Drau . And just think once that this your second birth and u were born to complete your unknown , unfinished story of your previous life with your ...with your special ..A!" Chitra teased her and Draupadi replied back by hitting her with a pillow.
"Stupid ! Idiot ! Do not talk much otherwise I will call my brother Dhris !" Drauapdi said angrily and chased Chitra all around the room .

He breathed heavily and smashed the glass in front of him in anger . Blood oozed down his hand but he did not care and banged the same hand of his in the table . Pain travelled through his body but the pain was nothing in front of what he was facing now. He took a broken piece of the glass and made a cross sign in the photo in front of him . The photo which pictured a beautiful girl now turned red due to the blood in the man's hand an fell from the table .
"Draupadi Kapoor ! How long will the luck favour u ? This time I win and u cry ...U WILL CRY TO DEATH ! " he said giving an evil laugh and stepping on the same picture and crushing it into pieces .
